The sin still have power over us because the world and everything in it are corrupted. We are sinful by nature as we inherited sin from our forefathers. We would deal with sins by His grace to live a life of righteousness and constantly reading, studying and meditating in the words of God. In practical terms we die to sin by living righteousness life by obeying and observing His words. In everyday language, live for righteousness simply mean living rights with God that obeying His words and commandments.

It is so significance to me personally that Jesus Christ a sinless man and God descended so low to have compassion on a sinner like me and bored my sins. I can't imagine it. It is an evidence of telling me that He really created and have sympathy on all His creations no what their situations are. I will do anything to reciprocate His unmerited and unconditional love towards me a sinner.

Jesus Christ sinlessness in very important because sinful mortar cannot save sinners. Father require sinless body to redeem us. Jesus sufferness on the cross cannot be quantified, the pains was too much to behold. Jesus Christ did that because of His love for the people His created, it is not what an ordinary man can do,it is spiritual and divine.

Christ's example speak to our situation because Christ died for us and blood shed on the speak on our behalf as He suffered for what He knew nothing about, He committed no sin, no deceit yet He suffered for us and despite the pains He retaliated not. My behaviour is going to be different because I must be able to endure all situations whether good or bad base on what I see in Jesus' character in the passage.

Being an employee and conscious of God, affect the way we act and react to injustice in the workplace because of our spiritual awareness of God's presence with us. It is capital No, a conscientious Christian cannot be a complainer because we are conscious of God's presence with us. We react to prolonged unfair treatment at work because of the awareness of God's presence with us.

God's glory dependent upon us by living submissive and obedient lives by our voluntarily submitted to civil authority and by doing good so that we can silence the ignorance talk of foolish men of this world. Christians rebellion hurts God because the unbelievers will see Christianity as unreliable, unusable and soon been crushed as against society, this would reflects upon our Lord Jesus Christ.

The good deeds we commit by living openly as Christians increase God's praises, by doing iits influence and convince others the truth of the gospel so that they too will glorify God wholeheartedly. Our blending in, cannot and will never detract us from God's praises but influence others to glorify God because of our good deeds and love towards them.

In 1 Peter 2:11, Peter warn us not to conform to the world and the things of the world so to abstain from sinful desires which war against our souls and focus on the things in the heaven because we aliens and strangers here on earth and must go back home. The reminder helps us to know whom we are and that we don't belong to the world but to God Almighty as a priest.

Q4. Value
Christopher Olamiji Taiwo replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #2 Living Holy Lives (1 Pet 1:13-2:3)
1 Peter 1:18-19, say I am worthless without the precious blood of Jesus Christ but with the precious blood of Jesus Christ I am worthy more than anything in this world. 1 Peter 1:18-19 tells me how precious and important I am in the sight of God and His concerns over all His creation (John 3:16). God's love and the precious blood of Jesus Christ indicates that I have a long-term value of balance sheet and financial assets with God my creator now and beyond. My true long-term investments is everlasting life with Jesus Christ and the Father, because Jesus Christ is the Messiah and God anointed Saviour and only begotten Son of God and that His blood is precious and valuable in the presence of His Father -
Q3. Judgment and Gospel
Christopher Olamiji Taiwo replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #2 Living Holy Lives (1 Pet 1:13-2:3)
The people of our culture upset when they sense they are being judged by someone because they feel it is only the creator (God) who have the right to judge them, even Jesus Christ says so in Matthew 7:1-4. God's love for the world and final judgment can be reconcile through the way we lives our live in the present, as everyone will give account at judgment day. God's love unconditionally and judge each person according to their works impartially. The final judgment must be at the core of the Good New of Jesus Christ because He paid the price of our salvation and He was also appointed by the Father. The Gospel became nothing and make no sense and people start living their lives as they like when final judgment is left out or ignored -
Q2. Holiness
Christopher Olamiji Taiwo replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in #2 Living Holy Lives (1 Pet 1:13-2:3)
Holiness means separation and consecration, that is totally committed to the service of God in righteousness with pure heart. I am holy now by Jesus Christ's atonement called salvation. The biggest struggle with holiness is the world and itsmaterials, the environments and some of friends around us. I must be obedient to the words of God because hate iniquity, love righteousness and I must resist any kind of temptations in order to become holy. My biggest struggle with holiness is worldly or the society we are living in now.
