False teaching belongs to the world and is accepted, but we are not of this world, we are the blood bought children of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. These are the sort of questions that make one sit up and thank God for our salvation, and the redemption that we know and enjoy in Christ Jesus. How does a defeatist mentality differ from a belief that in Christ we have overcome the world? We walk by faith and not by sight What part does faith have in this overcoming? What an assurance too have as we journey through this life, what comfort and power to have, with the knowledge that' greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. Foundational faith is based on the true fact that Jesus Christ the man is the Son of God and is co equal with God. Matthew 1:23 tells us that He is Emmanuel, God with us, 1 Timothy 3: 16 ..Mystery of Godliness. The devil is a lair from the beginning and would want all to believe that Jesus was just a man ..one who would die and stay dead, but we know that we have a risen Lord a redeeming Saviour. Our Father God demonstrated to all that Jesus is His Son by His glorious resurrection from the dead, was the question not asked, Why? seek ye the living among the dead, He is not here but He has risen. Oh! What a Saviour

The first recorded sin in the Bible was disobedience, how much satisfaction God must get from His born again child whoo acts in obedience. God is our Father and Jesus secured our place through Calvary into His family. God gets great satisfaction from our obedience to Him and His word.

This type of love is something we were totally unaware of as unbelievers, I did not really care for others or their needs, my desires and needs came first. Outside my circle of needs everything came a very distant second. Graciously Jesus changed that, when He saved my soul and redeemed me , He let me see other needs and how fragile live is, how easy it is to unbalance it by misery and need, but much worse how misery multiplies in a life when no one pays attention or offers help. Thank you Lord for enabling me to recognize need, pain and misery in those who suffer, thank you Lord for your love which you have placed within me that lets me care and lets me express your love to all. Hate and anger how quickly they grow into something so very evil. Every one knows the power of hate, we see its horrible evidence each day across our world, evil has ne respect to age or creed. Thank you Lord that you have shown us by your grace to turn hate to love and anger to reconciliation.

Hate..Hate our world is in a mess because of it, death has had a free hand because of it, families and friends have destroyed each other because of it. Strangers who have never met kill each other in the name of colour or religion, but its hate that detroys us. Jesus seen this horrible emotion in us and coupled with evil it had the power to destroy. That was until our Saviour displayed to us a new emotion, the emotion of love and forgiveness, hate can grow under LOve it is finished. The world hates us because we are no longer of this world or its ways, love is everything love will overcome.

The Holy Spirit lives so completely within us and our daily walk and talk with the Lord helps ud to see those who teach falsely. We cannot be fooled by false teachers, the Lord is our strength and our shield. We walk in the Light and the darkness cannot enfold us. We are strangers to the things of this world for we are the children of promise, ones who have been redeemed by the Precious blood of the Lamb.

When I became a born again believer in Christ Jesus my Lord and saviour, the holy spirit took up residence in me, the old easy habits of the old man where no longer easy to do. The old man is dead a new creation lives in his place, my daily companion and friend is Jesus He keeps me out of all sorts of trouble. Oh! What a Saviour that He died for me.

It shows up in an uneasy way, sin is not pleasant no matter what the veneer we place on it. When I walked in the world and outside Christ, lawlessness formed part of who I was, it acted as a protection and fitted quite well into my life at that time. But it was not a happy time. When Jesus came into my life and forgive me my sins when I was baptized I buried the old man and his ways the LOrd has shown me the beauty of His Light and what it means to walk with Him.

My motivation comes from my salvation, I once was lost in the slave market of sin, no hope no rest, until I found my gracious Saviour Jesus Christ, He forgive me my past, my sin and He give to me hope, a new life. In me dwells the Holy spirit and I am directed away from sin, my purpose is to live a clean life for Jesus. What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see, to look upon His face the one who saved me by His Grace.

The Holy Spirt convicts us of our sins and leads us to the our Saviour, when we repent of our sins and accept that Jesus Christ the Son of God died and rose again to pay the demands of a rightous God on our behalf, the Holy Spirit dwells within us. Having therefore been baptised and died with Jesus we rise in newness of a new life with Him. Our daily walk and life is new the old man is dead, the Holy Spirit becomes thre comforter and guide. Oh! What a Saviour

We need those who have been gifted to build us up, but the Holy Spirit is our guide and campanion directing us through what is right and waht is wrong

When I abide in Jesus, I feel so close to Him and I walk strong, I feel complete, but there are times when I get distracted and its my fault I drift and feel alone. But thats only until I lift up my head and see Him who died for me. One who is in Christ walks in love and talks with love

The Holy Spirit is poured out upon every repentant beleiver, we have the Holy Spirit within us that is within our Saviour Jesus Christ. We walk by faith, we live by faith, how much of the Holy Spirit we put into practice is determine by our walk in Christ

The world at present suffers from false teachers and empty doctrine, John however wants us to be aware the the Antichrist he also refres to is satan.

His faith, he is such an inspiration, even when presented with the all impossible, he beleived, when asked to go the extra mile, he beleive. When trails arrive in my life it is with wonder and refreshment I can look back at an incredible promise keeping God who loves the faithful, and I am reminded that It is by faith that we are saved.
