  1. Q3. (2 Corinthians 12:20) How do you “cure” a church of these kinds of behaviors and sins? How can a “love offensive” begin to change the spirit of a dysfunctional congregation? What is the role of church discipline in a dysfunctional congregation?styl a-P .5in'> 1.How do you “cure” a church of these kinds of behaviors and sins?ow can a “love offensive” begin to change the spirit of a dysfunctional congregation? PREACH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST..HIS GOODNESS.. Apostle Paul is contradicting the Church Leaders and some of the Church members(2 Cor 12:21-I am afraid that when I come again, my God may humiliate me before you, and I will grieve fo many of those who previously sinned and have not repented of the impurity, sexual immorality, and licentiousness that they have practiced.) who profess to be Christians but are actually not. He is trying to establish His ministry, and that of Titus, that they are different and not asking any favor or monetary donations to survive, which is the practice of their Church Leaders and some older member who had infiltrated the church to whom Paul founded...These leaders has been distorting, and perverting the Gospel(Jude 1:4 For certain men have secretly slipped in among you men who long ago were marked out for the condemnation I am about to describe ungodly men who have turned the grace of our God into a license for evil and who deny our only Master and Lord,Jesus Christ.,telling everyone that it is ok to remain in thier sinful act, giving them license to do it)...also notice 2 Cor 12:21..sexual immorality, and licentiousness that they have practiced..... How to cure this is to expose it as oppose to the Scripture, and let the goodness of God make them repent..(Romans 2;4-...that God’s kindness leads you to repentance) 2.What is the role of church discipline in a dysfunctional congregation? The church should speak to the dysfunctional congregation,in Love...telling them what they are doing is wrong..and should give them a chance to change their mind...
  2. Q2. (2 Corinthians 12:10) What was the life-changing lesson that Paul learned from God when God denied his prayer? How does our self-sufficiency limit God’s power through our lives? Can we become dependent upon God without having to experience some “thorn in the flesh” ourselves? Answer: 1.What was the life-changing lesson that Paul learned from God when God denied his prayer? Two times ..the word i would not Becomes arrogant was mentioned.. 2 Cor 12:7-even because of the extraordinary character of the revelations.Therefore-so that I would not become arrogant,a thorn in the flesh was given to me,a messenger of Satan to trouble me-so that I would not become arrogant. The lesson that Paul learned,is not to be arrogant, thinking that because He has many revelations from God,..He becomes very strong and powerful and just can do anything...The Lord still wants Paul to be dependent on HIS GRACE,which He said is sufficient to thwart any weaknesses that Paul has,in face of the messenger from satan who has making trouble to his ministry. 2.How does our self-sufficiency limit God’s power through our lives? I heard one pastor(Pastor Joseph Prince) once said..WHEN WE RELAX,GOD WORKS....WHEN WE WORK,GOD RELAX. When we think we can do it,in our own-GOD'S POWER CAN'T FLOW IN US..because we did not allow Him to be God...but when we think that WE CAN"T DO IT IN OUR OWN.then GOD'S POWER WILL FLOW IN OUR LIFE ,AND SINCE WE KNOW THAT IT IS NOT DUE TO US,WE GIVE GOD THE GLORY AND PRAISE AND HONOR. 3. Can we become dependent upon God without having to experience some “thorn in the flesh” ourselves? YES.
  3. Q1. (2 Corinthians 12:7) Why was this “thorn in the flesh” given to Paul? What purpose did God want to achieve through this in Paul’s character? How can something be both used by God and be caused by Satan’s destructive work? How does this verse relate to Romans 8:28 and Genesis 50:20? Answer: 1.Why was this “thorn in the flesh” given to Paul? What purpose did God want to achieve through this in Paul’s character? 2Co 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure --First I beg to disagree that Paul thorn in the Flesh is something like Physical ailment,or sickness...but is someone who opposes his revelation messages, which means The thorn in the Flesh Paul is referring to is a PERSON.. This person is so oppose with the Gospel, the goodness of God through Jesus Christ, that Paul concluded He is a messenger of satan to always appose Him. This person must gone into Paul's nerve that He prayed to God,3 times to remove him,..But God just say,You can destroy him by my GRACE...MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT TO YOUR WEAKNESS..as if God is saying..."Paul as long as you exalt yourself among others because of the Knowledge and revelation that I have given you, this Thorn in the Flesh will continue to oppose you,but if you are willing to be humbled that without me,you are weak..THEN MY GRACE IS ENOUGH TO DESTROY THAT THORN IN YOUR FLESH. Many times in the Old testament,The term Thorn in the flesh points to person or Group of people: Judges 2:3-"Wherefore I also said, I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be as thorns in your sides, and their gods shall be a snare unto you". ---Here Thorn in the Flesh refers to the Old inhabitants of the Promised Land....who later upon the death of Joshua enticed the Israelites to worship their god.. Judges 2:11-12-And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: And they forsook the LORD God of their fathers, which brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the people that were round about them, and bowed themselves unto them, and provoked the LORD to anger. Ezekiel 2:6-"And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among SCORPIONS: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house". The briers, thorns and scorpions are all "symbolic" of the people of Satan which come against the Lord's Children to vex them. These are the adversaries of God's servants who come to revile, persecute and trouble them. And this symbolism holds true consistently in the New Testament scriptures as well as the Old. And why not, since it is all God's wholly divinely inspired consistent word. We can see this as Jesus talks about those who call themselves of God, yet are revealed by their fruits to be false messengers. In other words, by their fruits ye shall know them.(What Was The Thorn In The Flesh-By Tony Warren) God wants Paul to be humbled and not be bosttful, yet firm on His revelation,on his ministry,to remain steadfast on the truth that God has given Him..other people may oppose the grace Preaching, the too good to be true News,of what Jesus has accomplished for mankind, but we should remain steadfast and not boast on our own deeds,or works,to obtained salvation, but we rather boast,THAT GOD'S GRACE IS MORE THAN ENOUGH,TO SAVE US IN OUR WEAKNESS. 2. How can something be both used by God and be caused by Satan’s destructive work? How does this verse relate to Romans 8:28 and Genesis 50:20? GOD HAS ALL ALONG PLANNED,THE BIRTH OF MESSIAH,SINCE GENESIS(Gen 3:15- ..and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. ) Because of this, the devil has been trying to hate women(the bearer of the seed0,and has deceived Her offspring as shown how cain killed abel. Gen 50:20 But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive. Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. According to Gen 50 and Romans 8...God is all knowing, and all His promises are going to Pass,no matter how bad our circumstances are,God can reverse it for Good to manifest His Goodness,Mercy, and Grace, and Love to mankind. TO GOD AND JESUS CHRIST WHOM HE SENT BE ALL THE GLORY. The devil does not know the future,..so when Herod knew from the Three Wise Men that the Messiah was born, He ordered all the babies two years old and below to be Killed all throughout the land: Matthew 2:16-When Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise me The murder of abel...the murder of innocent Child is not from God,but from the devil, who does not know until then, the True identity of the Messiah... The birth of Messiah, jesus Christ is from God...to whom the devil try to destroy or stop by killing those two years old and below babies,,,
  4. Q4. (2 Corinthians 11:23-28) How do Paul’s sufferings help authenticate his claim to be an apostle? What do these sufferings tell us about Paul’s commitment? How does this account inspire you – or convict you? How will you be different from having pondered it? Answer: 1.How do Paul’s sufferings help authenticate his claim to be an apostle? What do these sufferings tell us about Paul’s commitment? --Paul's suffering shows his Zeal for the Ministry, for spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ...But it does not necessarily mean that you must first suffer before God can use you,as most religious people say..His suffering further shows his commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, that despite inumerable brushes with death Paul remains steadfast and continue. 2. How does this account inspire you – or convict you?How will you be different from having pondered it? ---Paul's account of personal experience is very inspirational..However many preacher has been using his example to pervert the Gospel...That if you want to be a disciple of Christ,YOU MUST SUFFER FIRST...IF YOU ARE A DISCIPLE OR TRYING TO BE A DISCIPLE AND ARE COMFORTABLE IN LIFE,THEN THIS SAME PREACHER SAID THAT INDEED YOU ARE NOT A TRUE DISCIPLE..and he will quote verse in this suffering of Paul.,..
  5. Q3. (2 Corinthians 11:7-9) Why do you think Paul refused to require the Corinthians to support him? How did this help his ministry? How did it contribute to them taking him for granted? How can we honor Christian workers, clergy and lay, who give of their time sacrificially to minister for Christ? How will Christ honor them? Answer: 1.Why do you think Paul refused to require the Corinthians to support him? How did this help his ministry? --Paul did not require the Corinthians to support Him,so as to differentiate himself from other Preacher who preach different kind of Gospel(those who pervert the Gospel of Christ). Also, maybe somebody has reported to Paul, that the people was burdened in their obligation to pay those preachers...so Paul in order not to associate the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who Pervert the Good News, inform the Corinthians that He is Preaching the GOSPEL FREE OF CHARGE...it helps His ministry,as people began to preach the Gospel to other people, without asking for payment also, just as Paul does. And those who take Him for granted was hit by their conscience, those who backbite Him,has nothing to prove of their accusation, since Paul does not take anything from the Corinthians... 2.How can we honor Christian workers, clergy and lay, who give of their time sacrificially to minister for Christ? We pay them, accordingly. 3. How will Christ honor them? We may never know How Christ will honor them...it is between them and Jesus....it is not for us to know.. John 21:22--..."what concern is that of yours?.........
  6. Q2. (2 Corinthians 11:1-5) What does it feel like when a congregation loses its pure devotion to Jesus Christ, and instead takes on other motivations for its religious observance? In what ways is this like the church at Ephesus losing its “first love” (Revelation 2:4)? How can this purity of devotion be restored? Answer: 1.What does it feel like when a congregation loses its pure devotion to Jesus Christ, and instead takes on other motivations for its religious observance? --Apostle Paul said,if anyone does not Love Jesus,Let them be ANATHEMA. 1 Corinthians 16:22- If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha. Anathema means to be accursed. 2. In what ways is this like the church at Ephesus losing its “first love” (Revelation 2:4)? They Lose their First Love(who is Jesus Christ),when they try to start looking upon themselves,to work hard in order to maintain their salvation...Notice in Revelation 2;2-3..I know your works as well as your labor and... Rev 2;2-3-I know your works as well as your labor and steadfast endurance, and that you cannot tolerateevil. You have even put to the test those who refer to themselves as apostles (but are not), and have discovered that they are false.2:3 I am also aware that you have persisted steadfastly, endured much for the sake of my name.. The focus of the people in Ephesus is themselves...and no more on the finish work of Jesus in the cross who is their First Love. This can only be restored,by renewing of mind(Romans 12:2) and refocusing their mind and heart to Jesus Christ, the author and finisher of their Faith. (Hebrews 12:2-Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.)
  7. Q1. (2 Corinthians 10:3-6) Why does Paul liken his dealing with his opponents in Corinth with reducing a city wall by siege and then taking its citizens captive? Is Paul talking about a victory by the use of incisive logic or is there a spiritual stronghold here, one that derives its power from Satan’s kingdom? Answer: 1.Why does Paul liken his dealing with his opponents in Corinth with reducing a city wall by siege and then taking its citizens captive? ----Paul Liken it to the city wall, for the people are so familiar with it,how to build it,and what is its function.,That in order to capture the people behind it,you must first overran and destroy the first line of defense..the city wall. 2.Is Paul talking about a victory by the use of incisive logic or is there a spiritual stronghold here, one that derives its power from Satan’s kingdom? ---Apostle Paul's emphasis is about "Spiritual Warfare"..and that the stronghold is in our Minds, all the arguments start in our thoughts, and this is what the devil would like to attack...telling us How unworthy we are, that our obedience to Christ is not enough,..The devil wants us to focus on what we can do,to maintain our salvation..he]wants us to focus on ourselves....and return to Law mentality...AND THIS IS THE THOUGHT THAT APOSTLE PAUL TELLS US TO CAST,AND TAKE EVERY EVIL THOUGHT CAPTIVE...TELLING THEM THAT YOU ARE SAVE BY GRACE..THAT IT IS NOT UP TO US TO MAINTAIN OUR SALVATION,THAT OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS NOT DEPENDENT ON OUR THOUGHTS,ACTIONS,OBEDIENCE OR THE LACK OF OBEDIENCE BUT IS DEPENDENT ON WHAT JESUS HAS DONE ON THE CROSS..TO JESUS OBEDIENCE TO THE CROSS(Romans 5:19-....so also through the OBEDIENCE OF ONE MAN,MANY WILL BE MADE RIGHTEOUS.)
  8. 4. (2 Corinthians 9:12-15) Why should our giving prompt thanksgiving? How is our giving a demonstration of God’s grace? Why is God’s gift of Jesus termed “surpass-ing”? Why is God’s gift of Jesus termed “indescribable”? Answer: Why should our giving prompt thanksgiving? 1.First of all,WE MUST BE A CHEERFUL GIVER..and if we are cheerful,it will just prompt us to be always in Gratitude to Him,who supply all our needs according to Jesus riches in Glory. How is our giving a demonstration of God’s grace? 2.Everything,all the good things that we receive is from God(James 1:17-All generous giving and every perfect gift17 is from above, coming down18 from the Father of lights,..)so that in giving we acknowledge that all that we have is actually from Him. Why is God’s gift of Jesus termed “surpass-ing”? 3.THIS IS THE GREATEST GIFT A MAN CAN RECEIVE,no comparison at all. why is God’s gift of Jesus termed “indescribable”? 4. For it is indeed, cannot be describe by just mere words...it is just speelbindingly awesome... Thank you Jesus.
  9. 3. (2 Corinthians 9:10-11) According to these verses, what is the purpose of God increasing your “store of seed”? How do greed and generosity differ from each other? What is God’s promise here to generous givers? Answer: 1. So that you may be generous on every occasion, which is producing through us thanksgiving to God, 2.Greed is also define as eating more than you can chew..Generosity is sharing those that you are about to chew... 3. Providing for the needs of the givers in OVERFLOWING supply, and they which you bless shall Glorify God,the source of all good things....
  10. Q2. (2 Corinthians 9:7) Why do you think pastors or other church leaders use guilt to try to compel people to give more? Can greed be behind their pressure? Why is pressure incompatible with worship? What does cheerfulness while giving say about the condition of a person’s heart? Answer: 1.I think inducing Guilt and compelling people to Give,is one of the worst Perversion of the Gospel..Everytime I heard Malachi 3 being borbarded by the speaker before offering time,It just annoys me..especially when they will emphasize the cursing part if you don't give.and that you are robbing God if you don't give.... This is just like GODFATHER mafia boss style....and not God the Father.. Jesus already becomes a curse for us,so that we will be blessed: Gal 3;13-14-Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by BECOMING A CURSE FOR US(because it is written,Cursed is evryone who hangs on a tree). In order that in Christ Jesus the blessings of Abraham would come to the Gentiles so that we could receive the promise of the Spirit by faith. NOW IF JESUS BECOMES MY CURSE,WHAT KIND OF CURSE CAN STILL DEFEAT WHAT JESUS HAS DONE FOR ME?....ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.... PRAISE BE TO MY GOD,JESUS CHRIST,WHO HAS REDEEMED ME,AND FREE ME FROM ALL THIS BONDAGE.
  11. Q1. (2 Corinthians 9:6) Does the Scripture teach that material blessing results from giving generously to God’s work? Why are we so careful to reinterpret this as referring mainly to spiritual blessing? If you compared your own actual giving to God’s work to a tithe (10%) of your income, would it look generous? 2 Cor 9:6- 6-But this (I say),He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly and he which soeth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7-Every man according as he purposeth in his heart,(so let him give)not grudgingly,or of necessity for God loveth a cheerful giver. 8-And God (is)able to make all grace abound toward you that ye,always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work Answer: 1.Does the Scripture teach that material blessing results from giving generously to God’s work? In a sense YES..but if your purpose in giving is to multiply your money, and that there is no love in it,then this scripture is not for you. The heart is where God is looking, not on the amount of money we give..if we can give big amount more than 10 percent and yet give cheerfully then this verse is for you.... But material blessings does not come only proportional to what you give,FOR WE CANNOT BUY GOD'S BLESSINGS.. God will send His Rain to the just and the unjust..God is blessing mankind because it is His character to bless.. And we can take lesson in Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard, wherein the Landowner paid the same amount of money for those worker who work less than the one who work more or longer hours...and when those who work longer hours complain about the Landowner being UNFAIR...He replied: Matthew 20:14-15-Take what is yours and go.I want to give to this last man---the same as I give you.AM I NOT PERMITTED TO DO WHAT I WANT WITH WHAT BELONGS TO ME?OR ARE YOU ENVIOUS BECAUSE I AM GENEROUS? The Landowner is a picture of Jesus Christ, and those that work longer hours is a picture of those who try to earn their blessings by their hard work....
  12. Q4. (2 Corinthians 5:18-6:2) If you, then, are called to be an urgent agent of reconcilia-tion, how is this likely to affect your daily life? How will it affect how people perceive you? How will it affect how God perceives you? Answer; BY WALKING DAILY IN UNION WITH JESUS,and let the Holy Spirit direct your activity, you will live a life that other people will want to have...They saw something in you, that they also want..they saw victory, fruit of the spirit, emanating from your daily Life... How God perceives us will not be affected by what we think,do or act..The moment we become born again,God will love you just the way you are.
  13. Q3. (2 Corinthians 5:21) In what sense did Jesus “become sin” on our behalf? God made Him to be...It is all along the Plan of Heavenly Father,to sacrifice His Son,in behalf of mankind,to destroy Sin,and Death which Adam has brought to man when He surrender His authority and Kingship to satan in the Garden. Galatians 4:4-5-But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. Jesus becomes our substitute,He gives us His Righteousness...We give Him our Sinful Nature.. God must punish the Sins of the World(Man) for Him to become a God who renders justice..and by Sending Jesus as 100 percent man,..(Gal 4:4),Jesus suffers the pain and agony of the cross as human being,as mortal, and redeemed mankind as 100 percent God through His death and resurrection.
  14. Q2. (2 Corinthians 5:18-20) How have we humans been reconciled to God? What did God do so that reconciliation could take place? In what sense are you an Ambassador of the Kingdom of God? In what sense are you a Minister of Reconciliation for Jesus Christ? Answer: 1.How have we humans been reconciled to God? What did God do so that reconciliation could take place? IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS...This is the Plan of God all along, before the foundation of the earth: 2 Tim 1:9- Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, God sent His Son(John 3:16),to be punished, judged on our behalf..That is how much God loved Us,that He did not spare His only Begotten Son,but delivered Him(Jesus) for us(Romans 8:32-He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? )..God must removed the Sinful Nature that We have inherited from Adam(The result of the Fall)..but He can't just point His hand and do magic,..for God is a just God,He must Punished the Sinful Nature of Man..to reconcile Man to the image that He has created Him in the Garden, according to His image(Gen 1:26-And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:)..so Jesus bear our sins in the his own body in the Cross(1 Peter 2:24- Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed)..at the cross the exchange of Identity took place.....JESUS ABSORBING ALL OUR SINFUL NATURE,AND WE RECEIVING HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS...HIS HOLINESS... Hallelujah, thank you Jesus.TO GOD BE THE GLORY. 3.In what sense are you an Ambassador of the Kingdom of God? In what sense are you a Minister of Reconciliation for Jesus Christ? We are ambassador of the Kingdom of God,as we reflect the New Nature that God has gifted us(Romans 5:17)..and by proclaiming and spreading the Good News about the Gospel of Jesus Christ...
  15. Q1. (2 Corinthians 5:16-17) What does verse 17 teach us about the nature of a new believer? What changes in a person when he puts his faith in Christ? Why don’t old habits disappear immediately if everything has become new? Answer: 1. What does verse 17 teach us about the nature of a new believer? That we are a New Creation..old things, the former things when we have not seen the light, the former things when we are yet illuminated(Hebrews 10:32-But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions; )..ARE PASSED AWAY. The true Nature of a beleiver, happens in The SPIRIT REALM..the old Sinful Nature that we have when we inherited the Fallen Nature of Adam was changed completely, once and for all when we make Jesus our Lord and Personal Savior.. 2.What changes in a person when he puts his faith in Christ? HIS SPIRITUAL NATURE(For we are a 3 part being...SPIRIT,SOUL,BODY...-1 Thess 5:23-And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.) 3. Why don’t old habits disappear immediately if everything has become new? Old Habits is in our SOULISH REALM..as we continue to RENEW OUR MIND DAILY,who we are in CHRIST..this old habits began to disappear without,us really struggling. It is just not there anymore,as our Spirit Nature take hold of our Soul, giving direction to our Body,to be subjected by the Spirit. Thank you Jesus.
  16. Q4. (2 Corinthians 5:10-11a) How does Paul’s mention of the Judgment Seat of Christ fit the context here? How should our belief that we Christians will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ to be judged for our works affect (1) our desire to please him? (2) Our motivation to persuade people to receive Christ? Answer: 1.How does Paul’s mention of the Judgment Seat of Christ fit the context here? For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad I am struggling with this..for it seems that Apostle Paul is referring that All of us would be judge again when we appear before Jesus in Heaven... But I think Apostle Paul is referring that ALL CHRISTIAN BELIEVER who upon salvation must admit and receive the free gift of Salvation at the judgment seat,to what Jesus has done in the cross, and no matter how bad he has done,to his body due to false belief before being save...IS TOTALLY FORGIVEN. 2.How should our belief that we Christians will appear before the Judgment Seat of Christ to be judged for our works affect (1) our desire to please him? (2) Our motivation to persuade people to receive Christ? if, I will be doing the things in obedience because of fear..that Jesus will judge my work..if I do it,or do something to please Him,then I think It profits me nothing, and voided the Grace of God,but has gone back to the Law.. There is no fear in me..for His perfect Love cast away all my fears(1 John 4:18- There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. ) ...because I know my God loves me,and if I don't receive any rewards in Heaven due to good works...it is ok..to be with my Lord is more than enough with me.
  17. Q3. (2 Corinthians 5:7) What does it mean to walk by faith, not by sight? Why can’t nonbelievers understand this kind of living? What aspects of your life are guided by your senses rather than by your faith? How can you bring a faith perspective into these areas? Answer: 1.What does it mean to walk by faith, not by sight? To live according to what the Bible tells us who we are...As Jesus is so are we in this world(1 John 4:17..That we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus,(2 Cor 5:21)..We can't see this in the Physical,so we believe it by Faith..WHY? because the Bible tell us so. 2.What aspects of your life are guided by your senses rather than by your faith? How can you bring a faith perspective into these areas? Taste..I think my taste bud when it says Bitter,I cant close my eye and live by Faith that it is sweet...LOL.. Frankly we are all dominated by our Five senses...SEE,TOUCH,FEEL,TASTE,HEAR,SMELL....and as long as we live this five sensory attributes are there..for God created us this way,to sense and enjoy life.. The devil knows this so he perverted it,and tells us through our sense of feeling that we are not feeling well, pain here and there ,that we are sick..,instead of believing and living that by Jesus stripes we are healed.. And in fact this is our warfare,to bring into captivity captives all the devil is trying to deceive us into THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST JESUS(2 Cor 10:5)...and by renewing our mind(Romans 12:2) who we are in union with Christ Jesus.
  18. Q2. (2 Corinthians 5:6-8-Therefore we are always full of courage, and we know that as long as we are alive here on earth we are absent from the Lord – 5:7 for we live by faith, not by sight. 5:8 Thus we are full of courage and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord) How do Paul’s words comfort you when you consider your death? What do Christians believe happens when we die? What will happen to us if we die before Christ returns? What will happen to us when Christ returns? Answer: 1.How do Paul’s words comfort you when you consider your death? Very Encouraging, and free us from the fear of death,..in fact we don't put emphasis on death but on the hope,in the promises of God of eternal life.. 2.What do Christians believe happens when we die? That our born again Spirit be together with the Lord in heaven,in paradise...if Jesus can promise this to the thief who just repented, then how much more,to the born again believers? Luke 23:43-And Jesus said to him,'I TELL YOU THE TRUTH,TODAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE." look at the word today...Before He died physically He is already with God in Paradise......and so are you....,and I. 3.What will happen to us if we die before Christ returns? Our Born again Spirit, and Soul will be with the Lord,in heaven. 4.What will happen to us when Christ returns? We will be transformed in a flash..to our glorified body, our Born again Spirit finally united with our Glorified body..
  19. Corinthians 5:1-5) In what sense are our bodies like tents? If we were to truly look forward to our “house not made with hands,” how would it affect our daily lives here? Answer: 1In what sense are our bodies like tents? .Our bodies are like tents, for it is a temporary dwelling of our soul and True self which is our Spirit. 2.If we were to truly look forward to our “house not made with hands,” how would it affect our daily lives here? It will cast out all fear and worry, and we are be looking forward always to be united with our Glorified body to live forever and ever.
  20. Q4. (2 Corinthians 4:8-12) How does it encourage you to know that Paul went through tremendous stress and pressure? What effect did these sufferings have on the way people could see Christ in Paul? Why is pain necessary to spiritual growth? How does our pain allow others to assess our authenticity as Christians? Answer: 1. How does it encourage you to know that Paul went through tremendous stress and pressure? It encourage me to know that Paul,is after all...human just like us,who is vulnerable to all kinds of pressures and stress, and maybe dissapointments.. 2.What effect did these sufferings have on the way people could see Christ in Paul? Paul persevere,of His calling despite all the odds stock against him,HE STILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL EVEN IN THE BRINK OF DEATH. Acts 14:19-20-..they stoned Paul and dragged him out of the city,PRESUMING HIM TO BE DEAD.But after the disciples had surrounded him,he got up and went back into the city.... Those who witness the stoning of Paul, and that even though He is near death He still get up and continue His ministry,an attribute that somebody must be strengthening him..and in this case people will be thinking that what Paul is talking, preaching must be true...That Jesus is in Him. 3.Why is pain necessary to spiritual growth? I really cannot agree with this statement, that if we don't have pain, just like Paul,we cannot attain spiritual growth... It is the Holy Spirit who will teach us all things...JESUS SAID... John 14;26-But the Advocate the Holy Spirit, whim the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and will cause you to remember everything I said to you. 4. The TRUTH of the treasure in pottery jar is about the Gospel of God,a great treasure that is within the inside of each true believers, ready to be given to those who hunger and thirst for the word of God.. 2.What does the clay jar represent? It represent every believer. 3. What does the treasure represent? The Gospel of God,the good news of the finished work of Jesus..available for all. 4.What’s the paradox here? 22. Q2. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4) Since Satan has blinded people’s eyes to the truth, is there any hope for them? What strategies must we use to overcome spiritual blindness? How many people are likely to find Christ without intercessory prayer? Answer: 1.Since Satan has blinded people’s eyes to the truth, is there any hope for them? YES there is Hope for them...as long as they live in their physical body there is hope...but we must not forget that it is the goodness of God that will lead them to repentance(Romans 2:4).. God did not will that any man should perished, and that God wants all to come into the full knowledge of God,and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. 2 Peter 3:9-The Lord is not slow concerning his promise,as some regard slowness, but is being patient toward you,BECAUSE HE DOES NOT WISH FOR ANY TO PERISH BUT FOR ALL TO COME TO REPENTANCE... Tim 2:1-4-First of all, then, I urge that requests, prayers, intercessions ,and thanks be offered on behalf of all people, even for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity:Such prayer for all is good and welcomed before God our Savior.SINCE HE WANTS ALL PEOPLE TO BE SAVED AND TO COME TO KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH. Apostle Paul clearly, says here that Prayers, intercessions are good and welcomed before God for those who are blinded by satan...And I think It is God's work that will lead them to receive the light.. John 6:44-No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him,and I will raise him up at the last day. The difference is in us Christians..sometimes we tend to take matters into our own hand, forgetting about God,and bear all the responsibility and the brunt why this brother or sister is not converted....We act as if sometimes we know more than God. 2. What strategies must we use to overcome spiritual blindness? How many people are likely to find Christ without intercessory prayer? Just continue preaching, teaching the goodness of God,the Gospel of jESUS CHRIST..and make intercession and pray for those who are lost...and be a good example to them, and let the fruit of the Spirit just manifest from inside out for everyone to see AND PRAISE AND GIVE GLORY TO YOUR GOD...and my GOD..OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
  23. Q1. (2 Corinthians 4:1-2) How do questionable ethics and ministry practices hurt the work of Christ? What is Paul’s alternative in verse 2b? Answer: 1.A minister represent Jesus and His finished work in the Cross. A minister cannot preach the Goodness of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, while living and setting a bad example, or questionable lifestyle… There is no complete work other than what Jesus has accomplished in the cross. If we distort this message,by adding something to the finished work of Jesus then we distort the Gospel..and it is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ anymore. JESUS + SOMETHING = NOTHING JESUS + NOTHING = EVERYTHING. 2. What is Paul’s alternative in verse 2b? To speak the TRUTH…and what is the TRUTH…. Jesus said…IAM THE WAY,THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE.NO ONE GOES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME-John 14:6
  24. Q4. (2 Corinthians 3:18) Why is character change directly related to time deliberately spent in God’s presence? What is the theological word for the process of maturing in Christ? Have you noticed a change in the “degree of glory” you’re experiencing now compared to a few years ago? Why or why not? 2 Cor 3:18-And we all, with unveiled faces reflecting the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, which is from the Lord, who is the Spirit. When we are Born again,we are Totally transformed..that is our Spiritual Nature are totally changed.. 2 Cor 5:17-So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away – look, what is new has come! In the Cross there is an exchange...OUR SINFUL NATURE..ABSORBED BY JESUS BODY AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS IMPUTED IN US... As we daily go out there and live the Newness of our Life, the devil will try to unseat us,and push us out, with temptattion and sins...that will eventually lead us to be sin conscious, negating the blood of Jesus that washes us all our sinful nature..and in the process insult the Spirit of Grace. Heb 10:29-How much greater punishment do you think that a person deserves who has contempt for the Son of God and profanes the blood of the covenant that made him holy, and insult the Spirit of grace?. By renewing our mind daily,we reflect the glory of God in us...always telling us the wonderful work of Jesus in the Cross has accomplish everything, 2 What is the theological word for the process of maturing in Christ? The process of Maturing in Christ is RENEWING OF THE MIND. Romans 12;2-Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God – what is good and well-pleasing and perfect
