  1. Q1. (1 John 4:1-3) Why is believing that Jesus was God in the flesh so important? Why doesn't Satan want us to believe that? What are the implications of the fact that Jesus could live out his divine life in a human body like ours? What significance does it bring to the crucifixion and to the resurrection? What is the significance for your Christian life? Answer: 1.Why is believing that Jesus was God in the flesh so important? 1. Because God must become Man in the flesh,so that He can die and redeem mankind.God is a Spirit(John 4:24-God is spirit, and the people who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”)…and Spirit cannot die…Without the death of Jesus, shedding His blood, there is no remission of Sins(Hebrews 9:22-Indeed according to the law almost everything was purified with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness)..SO JESUS BECOME MAN,TO DIE FOR US,AND HE IS GOD AT THE SAME TIME,TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS… 2.Why doesn't Satan want us to believe that? Satan doesn’t want us to believe that,so that he can still have dominion over us,if and still continue to condemn us.He doesn’t want us to know that THE DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF JESUS HAS ONCE AND FOR ALL DESTROY HIS STRONGHOLD,IN US..But if we don’t know this truth we will still be in bondage everytime Satan attacks us..to steal, kill and destroy us..(John 10:10-.. the thief comes only to steal and kill23 and destroy)..but once we know and believe that truth…the truth that Jesus finished work in the cross destroys satan(Col 2:14-15- 2:14 He has destroyed29 what was against us, a certificate of indebtedness30 expressed in decrees opposed to us. He has taken it away by nailing it to the cross. 2:15 Disarming31 the rulers and authorities, he has made a public disgrace of them, triumphing over them by the cross).,and imputed His righteousness in us(2 Cor 5:21)..then satan cannot tell us lies anymore… 3.What are the implications of the fact that Jesus could live out his divine life in a human body like ours? What significance does it bring to the crucifixion and to the resurrection? It gives us hope, that in this world,we likewise can live in Divine life…FOR AS JESUS IS SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD…(1 John 4:17)…if Jesus can,We also can have it..John 14:12- I tell you the solemn truth, the person who believes in me will perform the miraculous deeds that I am doing, and will perform greater deeds than these, because I am going to the Father. The significance it brings to the crucifixion is that,Jesus in His Human body suffers all the Physical pain,..all those bruises in His Body, all those wounds, all those stripes bring so much agony in Him,so that we will not suffer the same punishment..WHY? Because God love us so much, that HE Give His Only begotten Son,to suffer, die in our behalf..(John 3:16)..Heaven was shut out black for three hours when God Punishes Jesus because of our Sin..He treat Jesus as one of the vilest, sinful man,and punish Him,and send Him to hell for three days..but even hell can’t contain Him,that in the Third Day,with all the power and might of the devil,to make him stay…JESUS ROSE FROM THE DEAD,TRIUMPHING OVER THE ENEMY,SHOWING LEADING CAPTIVITY CAPTIVES,PROCLAIMING THAT …HE HAS DEFEATED DEATH ,AND THAT WE NO LONGER MUST FEAR DEATH,FOR JESUS CONQUERED AND DEFEATED DEATH FOR US.. 1 Col 1:15- Disarming the rulers and authorities, he has made a public disgrace of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Eph 4:8- Therefore it says, “When he ascended on high he captured6 captives; he gave gifts to men.” 5 What is the significance for your Christian life? To live the fullness of Life that God has given to me,through Christ Jesus, and to be filled with the Holy Spirit, producing the Fruit of the Spirit, without, groaning, with much effort, but that the Fruit will just come out effortlessly,THE JOY ,LOVE,PEACE,GOODNESS,GENTLENESS,LONGSUFFERING,FAITH,MEEKNESS,PATIENCE..all abound in me.. And with this light, with this Glory,it will bring light to the darkness that is the world, attracting them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Hallelujah…Glory to God.
  2. Q4. (1 John 3:22) We know that God doesn't "owe" us anything. So what is the relationship between obedience and answered prayer? Do we "earn" God's favor through obedience? Answer: 1. We know that God doesn't "owe" us anything. So what is the relationship between obedience and answered prayer? Obedience here is ..OBEDIENCE TO HIS COMMANDMENTS…what is God Commandments? TO BELIEVE IN GRACE…Who is Grace?...OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST…OUR PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED BECAUES WE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST WHO IS AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER,INTERCEEDING IN OUR BEHALF TO THE FATHER(Heb 7:25- Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them). We should not stop at verse 22 and CLAIM THAT OUR PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED BECAUSE OF OUR OWN PRAYERS AND OBEDIENCE..look at verse 24 who is the obedience Apostle John Refers to: 1 John 3:22-23And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight 23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment My friends IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS..and our obedience is JUST A FRUIT OF OUR BELIEF IN THE FINISHED WORK OF JESUS IN THE CROSS,..IT MUST NOT BE THE ROOT,TO WHICH WE CAN BE PROUD AND SAY”GOD ANSWER MY PRAYERS BECAUSE I OBEY AND DO THIS,AND THAT…”.. ANSWERED PRAYERS ARE DUE TO GOD’S GRACE,UNMERITED FAVOR,AND MERCY..NO MORE NO LESS…OBEDIENCE AND ANSWERED PRAYERS ARE BOTH FRUIT,BECAUSE WE BECOME THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.. GOD ANSWERED PRAYERS BECAUSE THAT IS HIS NATURE,TO LAVISH HIS CHILDREN WITH BLESSINGS,TO LOVE HIS PEOPLE(John 10:10- …I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly,) WE OBEY,BECAUSE IT IS OUR NEW NATURE(2 Cor 5:17)..WE CANT HELP IT,WE AUTOMATICALLY JUST DO IT,IN THE SAME WAY WHEN WE ARE STILL IN OUR SINFUL NATURE…WE AUTOMATICALLY JUST SIN,BECAUSE IT IS WHO WE ARE IN FIRST ADAM(Romans 5;12- Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned). 2 Do we "earn" God's favor through obedience? NO!!!! We earn God Favor when we received and believe on HIS SON… We cannot earn His favor by,trusting on our self goodness, that we do this and that….and we abstain from this and that..THAT KIND OF OBEDIENCE AND RIGHTEOUSNESS,was called by Prophet Isaiah as FILTHY RAG…LIKEN TO CLOTH IN MENSTRUAL RAG.. Isaiah 64:6- We are all like one who is unclean, all our so-called righteous acts are like a menstrual rag in your sight. We all wither like a leaf;our sins carry us away like the wind. we dont earn God's Favor by our obedience, because if we can earn that way...then JESUS NEED NOT DIE AT THE CROSS..

Isaiah 40:2-Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD'S hand double for all her sins. Just like How the Lord encouraged Joshua, when He told him, that He needs to fill in the shoes of Moses, and become a leader to lead the Israelites to promised land,in crossing the Jordan River. He knows, that Joshua will be afraid..so God gives Joshua assurance, and encourage Him,many times.. Joshua 1:5-There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life : as I was with Moses , so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
