Q2. Discipline and Training
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 12. Let Us Endure: Perseverance of Faith (12:3-29)
It helps me to know and understand that in Hebrew 12:6,7, "The Lord disciplines those He loves and He punishes everyone He accepts as a son/daughter. To endure hardship as discipline; God is treating me as his child." To me this the the love of my Father in heaven, and He is building chacter in me. -
Q1. Weariness of Spiritual Warfare
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 12. Let Us Endure: Perseverance of Faith (12:3-29)
Spiritual Warfare is wearying because it always have an attack for you if you don't have your full/whole armor of God on at all times. These attacks are coming 24/7 to people. We must continue to resist because the battle has already been won by God, our Jehovah Nissi. No,because I keep my ful armor of God on daily. -
Q5. The Pioneer and Perfecter
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 11. Let Us Trust: Perspective of Faith (11:7-12:2)
The 'great cloud of witnesses" are the are the heros of the past, and they bear testiomony to the power of faith and to God's faithfulness. The analogy to the life of faith is offered, to keep our eyes on Jesus Christ, we should concentrate on Him. Jesus is the "fiisher" of our faith becaues of His accomplishing our eternal redemption and His glorification at the Father's right hand. -
Q4. The Motivation of Faith
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 11. Let Us Trust: Perspective of Faith (11:7-12:2)
They kept the faith of what God had promised them if the kept the covnant with God to the end of their lives. Their faith was base on believing in God and His promise. The Iseaelites' faith was strong enough to "go" through the Red Sea without fear for God was with them. rahab had real faith. Yes, there is a big difference. -
Q3. The Vision of Faith
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 11. Let Us Trust: Perspective of Faith (11:7-12:2)
Moses chose to follow God's leading rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time. Moses kept his faith in God because he was looking ahead to his reward from God. The kind of vision that faith creates for us is a reward in heaven where our treasure are. -
Q2. Aliens and Strangers
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 11. Let Us Trust: Perspective of Faith (11:7-12:2)
The characteristics of a believer in practial terms who life his/her life as an "alien" means that their true home is in heaven, while they are satying here on earth for a time like this. The balance between "in" the world but not "of" it is listening to the Spirit of God's voice in your spirit. -
Q1. A New City and Country
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 11. Let Us Trust: Perspective of Faith (11:7-12:2)
"Abraham's faith-quest", this encourages me so much to keep the faith to see the new city with all of its foundations in heaven. The final country of which we are citizens are Mount Zion in heavenly Jerusalem the city of the living God. For this I am so thankful, and I will always worship God acceptably with reverence and awe. -
Q4. Abraham's Confidence in God
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 10. Let Us Believe: Nature of Faith (11:1-6, 11)
Abraham had a personal relationship with God, he knew that God would keep his promise to him. Abraham was sure of what he had hoped for for many years for would one day come to him from God. I would describe that as when you know what you know and can not explain it. My definition of faith is being faithful to God in all things. -
Q3. Judeo-Christian Faith
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 10. Let Us Believe: Nature of Faith (11:1-6, 11)
I believe that the Judeo-Christian still believe in the 10 commandments and that they are heirs to the Old Testament. This is what sets them apart from any other. Noah, by faith when the Spirit warned him on things that was not yet seen, in holy fear built an Ark (acting out his faith) to save himself and family. The basis of of our faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Our faith wiol grow when it comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. -
Q2. Seeking God Expectantly
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 10. Let Us Believe: Nature of Faith (11:1-6, 11)
The second element of faith is to believe that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. This is essential because just mere belief that God exist is not the evidence of faith, as James puts it, "...the devils also believe, and tremble." Our faith says that when we seek God, we have the confidence that He will reward us. Whatever we are diligently seeking God for He will give us a reward which will come as the answer to our seeking. -
Q1. The Nature of Faith
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 10. Let Us Believe: Nature of Faith (11:1-6, 11)
"What is and does"; To me faith is the exhortations based on the preceeding expositions of the Old Testament passages; in verse (2) to me, it is talking about "ancients" Christians that has come along before our time that believed in God and His praomise; in verse (3)in my faith, I understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what is visible. -
Perseverance in faith is only hard when your flesh say to you it is hard, but when you know that you are doing the will of God for His purpose you will receive His promise. Perseverance is important for God to get the glory from it. We can encourage other Christians by being a witness in scriptures and truth.

Q3. Weakness or Apostasy?
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 9. Let Us Draw Near: Confidence of Faith (Hebrews 10:19-39)
If we knowingly keep on doing the same sin, it is committing the sin of apostasy. this is talking about the weakness of apostasy. trampled the Son of God under foot, treated as unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified Him, and insluted the Spirit of Grace, these are the elements. -
Q2. Meeting Together
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 9. Let Us Draw Near: Confidence of Faith (Hebrews 10:19-39)
Encouragement to one another in Christian love to meet together on one accord. Because of controling and false teaching teaching spirits. Pray to God for striong wisdom, knowledge and guidence. -
Q1. A New and Living Way
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 9. Let Us Draw Near: Confidence of Faith (Hebrews 10:19-39)
The way into the Tabernacle was closed to the people under the Old Covenant because of the blood of animal sacrifices could never completely atone their sins. The veil (curtain), that is His body. Whjen Jesus died, the veil (curtain) separating the Holy Place from the Most Holy Place was torn was "torn in two from top to bottom" (Mark 15:38). The veil (curtain) symbolizes the body of hrist in terms of suffering; like the veil (curtain), His body was torn to open the way into the divine presence. we have confidence to enter the Most Holy Place because of Jesus' body and since we have a great Priest over the house of God. -
Q3. First and Second Coming
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 8. Jesus, Our Willing Sacrifice (Hebrews 9:13-10:18)
In Isaiah 53:5 explains to us how and why Christ's First Coming differ from His Second Coming. Hebrews 9:28 explains to us why Christ's Second Coming is different from thhe First Coming. The Jews expected a different prophet to come to them. -
Q2. Redeemer and Ransom
Cee replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 8. Jesus, Our Willing Sacrifice (Hebrews 9:13-10:18)
Jesus is the One to go to God on our behalf. Christ is the mediator of a new covnant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inhertiance, now that He has died as a ramsom to set us free from the sins committed under the first covenant. -
They did not remaim faithful to God and His covenant when He brought them out of Egypt, that's why it failed. The primay promises of the New Covenant as prophised in Jeremiah 31:31-31 is that God declares He will put His law in their minds and write it on their heaets. He will be our God, and we will be His people. We will know Him, from the least of us to the greatest.
