  1. The ministry Jesus had is better. His ministry is founded on better promises.
  2. Jesus, is described as the One who meets our need as far as salvation from sin and its consequences. Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent priesthood over human. Jesus is Perfect, man is weak.
  3. Because Jesus always lives to intercede for us. To come before the Throne of Grace to God on our behalf.
  4. This means an oath made by Jesus.Because Jesus lives forever, He has a permanent Priesthood. Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for us.
  5. We who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Like an anchor holding a ship safely in position, our hope in Christ guarantees our safety.
  6. A great reward from our Father in heaven. It should no effect on our Christian life at all. Stay in the Word of God asnd keep your Full Armor of God on at all times to avoid this spiritual war.
  7. Apostasy is religious faith. Some people don'y have that kind of faith that is bold enough to believe in God to come through for them. Jesus was making an illustration, or telling a story of The Parable of the Sower" which was to deep for His disciples to understand at that time He was talking to them. Jesus want was tell them that the Tares and Weeds had to grow together until harvest time, then they would be seprated.
  8. I don't see any difference in these 2 verses. I refers to Christians who actually lose their salvation (turn away from God).
  9. By discernment of what is spiritually true and what is not. When studying Go's Words discipline yourself to distinguish good from evil.
  10. No, without faith, it is impossible to please Him Hebrews 11:6 says; "and without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to God "must believe" that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
  11. Jesus was called on to obey to an extent He had never experience before because He was sinless. Jesus knew that God was with Him all the way.
  12. It means tat Jesus' humanity was made completed. Because He is the source of our enternal salvation
  13. If we come to God in prayer with weak unbelieving faith He will not answer our prayers. God want us to come to His throne with boldness and full confidence. To find God's mercy and grace. God is the High Priest who is able to give us justice.
  14. I don't know that answer to this question, because I didn't know that Jesus was ever weak like us. I know that in Matthew 4:1-11 He was tempted. His temptaions was easier than ours because He has all power to resist all temptations. No we don't have any temptations He didn't have. Because Jesus has been tempted in every way, just as we are yet without sin.
  15. It is very important for a Christian to make a statement of their faith in the presence of many witnesses, and hold on to that faith and statement. Hold on to your faith and never let it slip away from you.
  16. It describes these two verses as a Living Powerful God that will judge us with His all seeing eyes, penetrating a person's innermost being, soul, spirit, joints and marrow. The total depth of a person. The Word is described as living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). It gives us the reasons for giving serious attention to the exhortation in verse 11- "Let us, therefore, make every effprt to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience."
  17. I think what the writer is talking about is a promise from God found in Revelation 14:12-13, "This calls for patient edurance on the part of the saints who obey God's commandment and remain faithful to Jesus." Then I heard a voice from heaven say "Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord" from now on." "Yes," says the Spirit," they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will not follow them." The difference between apostasy (falling from one's faith) and the kind of falling into sin that all Christinas experience from time to time is, when a person stop having faith in God and His powers and what God can and will do to bring glory and honor for Himself, when on the other hand some Christians will still have their in God "but" think that God has not shown them an answer that they are looking for quick enough for them. :
  18. We must be show our of God's word and Jesus' teaching and understanding among each other. by our good life, by deeds done in humility that comes from wisdom. Sin comes in by harboring bitter envey and selfish ambition in our hearts if we boast about it or deny the truth. We can keep our faith strong today to keep a good fellowship with other Chirstians.
  19. We will have to give account to God for everything that we do. It is best if we hold on to waht teaching from God's word and act on it as well.
  20. The Word of God. God's truth was revealed by Jesus, but it has also been given verbally. Nothing is all creation has been hidden from God's sight.
  21. Let us therefore make every effort to enter rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience to God. God's rest may still be entered by faith in His son.
  22. Turning away from the Living God. To turn away rebelliously from God is to tourn away from life and choose death, just as some of the Israelitse did who came of of Egypt. This is resisting hardening by sin's deceitfulness.
  23. Holding on to faith is found in Hebrews 3:14, We have come to share in Christ if we hold firmly til the end the condence we had at first. Salvation is evidenced by continuing in faith to the end. Such presernence reveals those who share in Christ found in the scripture in Hebrews 3:6.
  24. As forerunner of man's restored domion oner the earth, Jesus was made lower than angels for a while but is now crowned with glory and honor at God's right hand. By His perfect life, His death on the cross and His exaltation, He has made possible for redeemed man the ultimate fulfillment in the future kingdom when man will regain sovereignty over creation.
  25. Christ holds the power of death. Satan weilds the power of death only insofar as he induces people to sin and to come under sin's penalty, which is death. Jesus was an atonement for us. Jesus could have represent mankind before God only if He became one with them (us). I order for Jesus to turn aside the wrath of God against guilty sinners, He had to become one with them (us) and die as a substitue for them (us).
