I like online study because I am not good at sitting and listening to someone else talk, even though I used to be an English teacher. I am currently enrolled in an online master's program and like that much better than attending classes; therefore, I think this will be an enjoyable way to study the Bible in the quiet of my home. I grew up going to church all my life, taught Sunday school, served as deacon and elder in my church, but it was not until I was 40 years old that I finally came to know Christ. He is now my greatest treasure and I love to learn and grow in Him. Some of my favorite authors are AW Tozer, Watchman Nee, Keith Green, Leonard Ravenhill, JI Packer. He is radically tranforming my life right now in learning about prayer and faith through a book by Andrew Murray, With Christ in the School of Prayer. Bible studies are a passion of mine and I'm eagerly looking forward to being immersed in the Names of God study. My husband and I have a Baptist background, but currently attend a non-denominational Pentecostal church. I run a feed program in my church to help the homeless and those in need of food and clothing and knowing how God is very involved in my work,I can't think of a better way to refresh my mind than with a Bible study on any subject contained in God's word. I'm Helen from Australia, and I've been enjoying Pastor Ralph's studies for a rather long period now, but I've enjoyed them so much that I intend to stay around for a good while yet. They challenge me and make me think more deeply about my faith. I've been in various churches and am very thankful to the Baptist denomination which takes most of the cuedos for bringing me to Jesus and helping me grow. These days I'm with AOG Pentecostal, but denomination means less to me than the fellowship of the saints. Our church family is really seeking Jesus, and sending out our first missionary next week (we are onlya baby church!). I work in Children's church, and am believing for the revival through our children who will be the nation's leaders of tomorrow if we do our job well! I love to read all your answers. They add to me a dimension thatis always new and exciting. Thank you everyone for being part of this study and sharing your thoughts. But really, it's all about Jesus.
