It is more than the human brain can comprehend. We want God to be able to shine throughout the whole world. We want His love to permiate every heart. We want to have a peace that flows freely through everything on this planet. To achieve this goal, we personally must take responsibility for all of our thoughts, feeling and actions. We must be the change that we desire in this world. We need to set the example of what it is like to live in love with of all life. Old Jerry Posted May 19, 2015 Report Share Posted May 19, 2015 The sense that we are asking that the Father’s kingdom should come is when we accepted Jesus Christ as our savior. When we have been saved then the kingdom has come to us here on earth but that is nothing like the one we will receive when Jesus returns. This prayer should affect our lives so that we will live as if the kingdom has been put down here on earth. That way we will be trying to be doing the things that God wants us to be doing. That his will, the things that need to be done on earth as it is in heaven so the Lord will come back, there are things that need to be established here on earth before Jesus returns. We are asking that Jesus come into our lives in the here and now and finally also His soon return physically to take over and rule and reign as Lord and King 2.2 Why are we asking for the Father's will to be done here on Earth? We want God's perfect will to be done even here while we are on earth. 2.3 How should this prayer affect our living?
