  1. We have access to the Father when we embrace Christ and the gospel with faith. The Holy Spirit makes this access available because He now lives is us. That is how we have relationship with God through His Spirit, by faith. Jesus enabled this access by dying in our place for our sins on the cross and being obedient unto death. That is the only way we can have access to the Father.
  2. Jesus fulfilled the Mosaic law in dying for our sins, as He was the perfect sinless sacrifice who took our place on Calvary. There could be no one else. He was the only perfect sacrifice because He was sinless. In reading the OT and how each animal had to be perfect without blemish, pointing to Jesus. He died ONCE, and for ALL. The Jewish people are His people but until they realize that Jesus is their Messiah and they accept Him, there is no salvation. Their are Christian Jews and we are waiting for others to come to Christ. God has united both Jews and Gentiles in Christ. Ephesian 2:14-15 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
  3. I think the world is in the condition it is, is because we have not been doing our job in being willing to tell people about The Savior and how much He loves them, and that He died in their place for their sin. We fear people, rejection, we don't want to offend them, even our own family. A friend who doesn't know Christ has no covering for their sins. Separate from God, and without hope. Now days people don't recognize that they sin or even talk about it. They feel they are a good person. They just go on and on doing what they do and everyone thinks they are going to heaven. They don't know God wants a relationship with them and he wants to help them live life. He loves, provides and protects them and so much more.
  4. Faith is believing God! Stepping out in faith knowing and believing He will be there. No, I believe faith is a gift also from God, but it only works when we believe and use it. Faith for a 10 yr. old: You go into a room, you see a chair and want to sit down, you go over to the chair, sit down and expect/believe it will hold you up.
  5. God has made each one of His children different and special has created us with special gifts natural and spiritual talents,all to the glory of God. Works we do after becoming a Christian. These are the special gifts an talents God has given us to use for His glory. -vs- The works that Paul discredits are works that people think will earn them salvation. Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
  6. The church I was raised in I never heard about salvation. It was just religion. I wanted God in my life but didn't know how to get Him. When I was married and, it was not a good one, I had heard about Jesus and that He was living and alive. My friends just told me to pray and just talk to Him like I talk to anyone else. I just told Him that my life was a mess, " I give You my life and my family's life and said to Him, Do with it what you will." He honored that commitment and came into my life and rescued me from hell and from the addictions of the world. Jesus gives you a new life for old - delivers you from a life of sin, puts His Holy Spirit in you and you desire to do right and good. You now have a helper to help you, a provider, a protector, someone you can tell your problems too, You are not alone in this world.
  7. We don't understand grace because we always think we have to pay back for what we get. Living in an apartment complex, close to my neighbors, being single and liking to cook, I always love to share my extras with neighbors. I am not looking for returns but people feel because you give them something, they have to give you something in return. It's like you just do it because you want to and grace is just receiving it with thankfulness. That you have to pay for what you get. You give someone cake that you made and it is free. God gives his life for you and you receive it willingly and thankfully.
  8. God raised us up together with Christ and made us sit together in in heavenly places in Christ. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: God's grace is abundant! It is the equipping us to live now, in the present time, with new power, power to transform our lives and the lives of those around us. God has given us spiritual authority because we are in Christ and seated with Him. We need to pray with boldness knowing who we are in Christ and use the Authority He has given us. We can exercise spiritual authority over the enemy and make him the victim of Christ's victory again and again -- that is, when we learn our place of authority, and understand how to exercise it.
  9. His mercy, love and grace. Even when dead in trespasses and sins, He has quickened us together with Christ.
  10. Through temptation from the devil: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own ****, and enticed. Then when **** hath conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death. James 1:14-15 We are responsible. We have no excuse, God can blame us because we have the Word of God. We must then repent and ask the Holy Spirit to deliver us and obey the Word.
  11. God is not real to them. They have not accepted Christ as their Savior and Lord. They are living by their own strength and do not need God. They have no knowledge of God and how He can deliver them, they are spiritually dead. They do not have the Spirit of God in them. In my life I realized there was more to life than what I was experiencing. I did go to church but it was not alive. I did not hear the Word of God that would change my life. I had a need in my life and I cried out to God and He rescued me. He is living in me by His Holy Spirit. We would tell them how much God loves them and came to save them from Original sin. The sin Adm and Eve committed when they obeyed the devil. The sin that gave them the sin nature that they have that makes them sin. The answer is Jesus. Jesus is the answer to all the problems in the world. Tell them that His Holy Spirit will help them through this life. Its a mystery how the Holy Spirit lives in us, but He is God and can do anything! God tells us this. Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? I Cor. 3:16
  12. We miss fellowship with other believers all having gifts given to us from God and to being blessed by other members in the Body of Christ. We are the Body of Christ here on earth, His hands and feet, to do His work. We are not to be an island unto ourselves by staying home and not having fellowship with the body when we do, we withhold a blessing to others. We all have something to give and share even in helping and loving one another and to doing His work and sharing His Gospel.
  13. Because it is bigger than us and we need to be in Christ, we cannot do it on our own. He has equipped us with His Armor, His Blood, His Name, His Spirit, He has given us everything we need. Knowing He has already defeated the devil and he is under His feet and we are In Christ. Because we need to know that in order to believe for Victory. Because we don't know who we are In Christ, we are His children and He fights for us. We got to believe it and that He has already won the Victory. Many morning I wake up and the devil lies to me about my health. I have to speak the Word of God at him and win the victory. God has placed all things under His feet and He is Head of the Church. The decisive battle was fought at Calvary and the tomb is empty. Know that we are victorious in Him.
  14. Because we don't believe the Word of God that He sent His Holy Spirit to live and be in us and be our helper. We need to depend on the Holy Spirit, not ourselves. John 5:15 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. It is with our Faith. They believe God and do what He said we can do. Be in the Word, ask the Holy Spirit to open your understanding, believe and be doers of the Word.
  15. God has provided for me, which I am so thankful for. I can't imagine that much money and I don't want it to change my life. I see what money has done to some people in thinking of themselves and how it can draw them away from God. I don't know if I would live that long but if so, being in trouble financially, I would try to help someone in need. Or, I would give to those who preach the truth. We should be concerned with others needs and not ourselves. Matthew 6:19-21 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. This pandemic that went on for a couple years now has kept us out of the church and isolated us. And, we don't get together as we should. We have had to wear masks, like the devil had put a gag order over our mouth, not to speak the Word of The Lord. What we should do is :Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
  16. We Christians can look forward to the Resurrection when Christ takes us to be with Him forever. I don't know what heaven is really like but Christ will be there, the Savior, the Father and the Holy Spirit. Knowing He is the one who created us, the earth and everything in it, provides, protects, loves us, sent His Spirit to be with us. He has made this earth beautiful, who knows what beauty He has prepared for us. It will be a life of no sin, no devil, no pain. Just sensing His presence for a moment is glorious, I can imagine what His presence will be like always - Glorious! We are to live lives pleasing to God, praying, trusting, believing His promises and including Him in our decisions. Knowing that he will work through our prayers and our hands. Jesus Christ provides the hope that motivates us that the future with him will be better. He is our Blessed Hope! Non-believers have no real hope. They are living for today, doing whatever pleases them, when they have a problem there are a lot of solutions but none work. They live in fear, bitterness and discouragement. The only hope for them would be Jesus.
  17. Christ purchased us and we belong to Him. The end term is the day of His redemption, the second coming when He comes for His own. When Christ ascended into heaven He sent His Holy Spirit to us to be with us, to lead and guide us in our Christian walk. Making it possible to have fellowship with God and He with us. He has sealed us by His Spirit, guaranteeing that He will give us all He has promised, our inheritance. The down payment is a portion of His Spirit. The Holy Spirit is indeed a foretaste of glory divine.
  18. We need to reflect His glory, as the moon reflects the sun. We are to bring praise and glory to God. He has destined us to live for His praise, and "We are to let Christ's light shine before men,that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." (Matthew 5:16)
  19. Right now everything is not together. This world is more divided than it ever was. There is divisions, racism, opinions, hatred, fights, murder, etc. It will be wonderful for Christ's body when He returns, we will all be united and all one in Him. "After that the end will come, when he will turn the Kingdom over to God the Father, having destroyed every ruler and authority and power. For Christ must reign until he humbles all his enemies beneath his feet. And the last enemy to be destroyed is death. For the Scriptures say, “God has put all things under his authority.”e (Of course, when it says “all things are under his authority,” that does not include God himself, who gave Christ his authority.) Then, when all things are under his authority, the Son will put himself under God’s authority, so that God, who gave his Son authority over all things, will be utterly supreme over everything everywhere. " I Cor. 15:24-28
  20. I have been redeemed from the world and its pleasures. God showed me His love by drawing me to Himself and letting me know he was real and alive, sending His Holy Spirit to live in me. Before I was religious and tried to look holy by outward appearances but His living in me has made me holy and by His Holy Spirit leads me and guides me and delivers me from things I need to be delivered from, freeing me from sin and slavery to it. I would be in the world, doing the things of the world. Not knowing truth or the real wisdom God gives. No peace, worry, fear, making wrong decisions, living a life of sin. My future would be one of unhappiness. Not knowing the one who created me, who loves me and who had a purpose for my life.
  21. Because it is a perfect illustration. People who are childless are eager to have a child and pour their love on. They really want a child. God made us from the beginning for fellowship with Him because He loves us, chose us and wanted us to be His very own, leading us to a good life, giving us His all, providing for us, etc. It is encouraging to me, knowing I will never be alone. He is always with me. He lives in me and you can't get any closer than that! You can share anything with Him, so trustworthy. God has given me great parents, they were good to me, always provided for me but they are no longer here and God is forever. He chose me to pour His love on, He cares for me, He provides for me, He encourages me by His Word and Holy Spirit. I am never lonely, I am content and satisfied. I am adopted into the Family of God.
