We have the same power and authority that Jesus has. We have the ability to aforgive sins , heal the sick and cast out demons. When we use the name of Jesus, we are tapping into the authority that He has given us. Ending their prayers in Jesus name, Amen it is a way of affirming their belief that Jesus is their Lord and Savior Amen means “so be it or let it be so”. it is a way of affirming their belief that Jesus is their Lord and Savior. “Amen” is a word that has been used for thousands of years to express agreement, affirmation, and belief in the truth of a statement. It is a powerful word that has been used in religious and secular contexts alike, and its meaning has evolved over time

Only upon genuine, godly repentance of sin and the acceptance of Christ as personal Savior for the forgiveness of sin can the new believer be baptized (Acts 2:38). The wind symbolizes the free movement of the Holy Spirit and the breath of God. It represents the sound of a mighty wind on the Day of Pentecost, and the Holy Spirit descended upon the believers. This is the day when the Holy Spirit appeared as flames of fire over believers' heads as well as He enabled believers to speak in tongues. On that day, everyone heard the gospel preached to them in their native language. According to Acts 2:1-4, on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles and they began speaking in different tongues. This event drew a crowd of people who were amazed to hear the Apostles speaking in their languages. Peter then gave a powerful sermon, and about 3,000 people were baptized that day. God uses fire and wind to reveal his power

The crowd was so moved when Peter told them of their part in the crucifixion of Jesus that they asked the apostles, "Brothers, what shall we do?" (Acts 2:37, NIV). The right response, Peter told them, was to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins.

They were curious to hear Jews speaking in tongue. They were speaking about the wonders of God. It seems that many of the tongue-speakers are having an ecstatic experience that they can't control. But this is not merely some sort of emotional situation to be diagnosed. This is a work of the Holy Spirit, very similar to inspired prophecy.

People pray alone and in groups for coming of the Holy Spirit. Prayers is a very deep experience we need to have. Individual prayer is necessary to be with God.

Leaders should be a level-headed, self controlled person. Should be able to weigh the issues carefully. This person doesn't respond primarily from emotions or prejudice, but is able to weigh issues carefully and fairly. Potential leaders need to be carefully observed and tested so as to be sure they live what they say they believe. It is important that they be a living example of Christ-likeness in all situations. One should be looking for a person who has the quality characteristics mentioned by Paul and Titus.

So Timothy would be aware of the work and tasks set out for him. God will supply hims with whatever he needs. Facing these problems as a leader was difficult. To fight the good fight is to do the right thing and to try to get others to do the same. It comes from the Christian religion, so it is deeply rooted in morality and evangelism. Paul says this not only as an affectionate greeting to one he loves, but also to indicate to all readers that Timothy's authority and teaching is based solidly on Paul's own, that Timothy represents Paul's apostolic authority in the church and must be obeyed. Timothy appeared to have been intimidated by his youthfulness. Paul urged him in 1 Timothy 4:12: "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity. You will receive the power to witness Jesus, for the people who believe and of the world. God's power and only God's power enables us to exhibit love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, which reveal the character of Christ in us.

Jesus told the disciples that they were to wait for the Holy Spirit and they would receive power, and they would be his witnesses, and they would tell people about Jesus everywhere, to the end of the earth. The Holy Spirit is a crucial part of Christianity as it empowers believers to live a holy life and share the gospel with others.

Back in those times in the beginning of the early church women were’t respected like they are today. The man was head of the household. Women were to serve the men. But if they put the women to teach the children then why not let them teach the congregation? Women weren’t trained in Scripture, I'm sure they taught their children.

Men should pray in holiness, not amidst the anger generated by the controversies and disputes stirred up by the false teachers. If you want to worship with God and be heard you need to love your brother and sister in Christ

Paul emphasizes salvation of all mankind, because the people had became so engaged in preaching their own way, and praying for just the people of the church which left a bunch of people out. God does not want this. When we pray, we should pray for everyone. This suggests that the evangelism of the church had become false. God does not want anyone to die, Jew or Gentile, he wants the Word of God, the gospel message, to be preached to all nations

We learn that there is only one God and that He is forever God and we should honor and glorify him always. We learn that God does inhabit our praises. God is literally described as the eternal King. we learn that God does listen to us.

Paul emphasized the role of Mediator and Ransom in the context of the salvation of all because he wanted to show that it was Jesus Christ, God in the flesh, and not any other who secured salvation for mankind. As 'mediator,' Jesus stands between God and man to reconcile man to God. His death on the cross was a substitution act, a 'ransom' for man.

False doctrine gave incorrect assumptions about the law like not allowing certain foods or marriage. Teaches lies not the truth, topics they know nothing about. They have brought disagreements within the church. If there is confusion within the church, God can't speak his words correctly, people won’t know the truth

With the women dressing all up was a distraction in the church away from God. in Pauls day modesty was important because the Jewish and Hellenistic traditions associated extravagant female styles with sexual promiscuity among Jesus. I think that when people dress up fancy they are competing against other members of the church, instead of coming to the church to worship.

The false teachers were causing disagreements of salvation among the church's people. God desires unity, to love everyone, God will not hear our prayers if we do not truly believe in him, and worshipping with him

The law is good if it i used lawfully. The law is for everyone to abide by. One who has experienced the law knows more than one who doesn't know the law. Paul wanted Timothy to teach the people of in the church.

False doctrine is teaching things that they know nothing about, leading the people in the church astray, allowing them to do what they want. Controversy will bring disorder to the church, leading away from the teachings of Christ and focusing on the old ways
