  1. Judah faulted because they were too busy preparing for war and not seeking God for guidance. They should have been looking to God for help, the One who made them. Shebna sin was: Self-interest, he was concern only about himself. Have I ever been guilty of selfness instead of doing my duty to Christ? Shamefully, YES. "Heaven Father please give us the strenght and courage to do our duties to CHRIST, in the name of our Lord JESUS CHRIST, Amen."
  2. God commanded Isaiah to go naked for 3 years: It was a sign of what was going to happen to Egypt and Cush, they would be captured. The meaning was: The Egyptian and the Cushite were captured and led away with buttocks bared. The effect of this acted of prophecy was: Judah did not alined itself with Egypt against the Assyrian, and was spared when Egypt was attacked by Assyria. Would I have obeyed if I was Isaiah? "But God?" "But God?" I probably would have been like Gideon. JUDGES 6:36-40 Gideon asked God for a sign using the 'WOOL FLEECE' for answers. I will say some of my worst nightmares, was dreaming I was naked in front of a large crowd of people. "Father God in the name of JESUS CHRIST our Lord, please give us the courage to do your will and follow all your commands." AMEN.
  3. The attitude of this ruler, in his heart and mind he was all powerful. The evidence that this indeed describe satan is: proud and greed are characteristics of satan, (13) he place himself equal with God. "I will make myself like the most high." Have I ever exalted my opionion and will over God's will and God's word? Yes, every time I was disobedient and tried to do it my way. I paid dearly for it. I never consider myself equal or above God. The best way to be humble before God is to obey Him and serve and praise Him continuously.
  4. Peoples of this world will rally to the Messiah when the banner of Jesse is raised. The nations are all the people on earth. The Gentiles will be gathered at this time. The prophecy in Mark 13: 26-27 and Tessalonians 2:1 is confirmation of His return. This prophecy will be fulfilled when JESUS returns to this earth.
  5. There will be peace to all. This peace will extend all over the earth. There will be peace because the whole earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord. Knowledge of the Lord means a personal relationship with the Lord. This knowledge of the Lord will fill the earth.
  6. Jesse is the father of King David. Jesse Name was indicated: "A shoot will come up from the stump of Jesse; from his roots a branch will bear fruit." The attributes of JESUS are: "Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, Spirit of counsel and power, Spirit of knowledge and of fear of the Lord." We learn from the messiah that He will: Judge the needy, give decision for the poor of the earth. With the rod of His mouth, slay the wicked. He is righteous, He is faithful. When the messiah comes: He will slay all the wicked who involve themselves in injustic.
  7. Some laws are pass that seems to consider the weak, the poor and the oppress to be a step below human. We as christian can come out of our comfort zone get involved and make a stand for them. In additional to praying for them we can educate them and assist in providing them with food, clothing and shelter. JESUS is the Way, the Truth and the Light.
  8. This text convinces us that JESUS CHRIST is the SON of God. JESUS CHRIST is: Our almighty God, He is our Everlasting Father and, He is the Prince of Peace. I need most in my life right now is His continuous presence, peace of mind and protection.
  9. The Lord and His Son Jesus becomes a "Stumbling Stone" when we do not place our full trust in Him or use Him as a stepping Stone to help us in every circumstance. We are broken when do not look for strength in Him and go our own way, resulting in losing the battle. We stumble over a rightous God when we refuse to obey Him and do not fully surrender to His Will.
  10. Isaiah instruction to Ahaz was do not be afraid of Rezin king of Syria and do not be afraid of Pekan king of Israel. Ahaz chose to disregrad Isaiah's instruction because he was afraid of losing his kindgom and, he would be saved it if he paid the Assyrians off with silver and gold. Ahaz became a vassal of Assyria. Because of the consequence of Ahaz's disobedience: Judah was conquered by the Assyrian army. Why do we sometimes think we are smarter than God? (Proverbs 14:12) "THERE IS A WAY THAT SEEMS RIGHT TO A MAN, BUT IN THE END IT LEADS TO DEATH." We are not always willing to wait on God. Our way seems easy and a quick-fix. Why is it sometimes seems so hard to do what God tells us to do? Lack of faith and impatient.
  11. Isaiah will preach, people will hear and not understand, some will harden their hearts, others will hear and accept the WORD on different levels. Isaiah mission is not impossible. With God "All things are possible." Worse because they will hear and not believe. Parable of the Sower. Frustration: (Matt 13:13) "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand." (Matt 23:33) "You snakes! you brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemed to hell? There is Hope: (Matt 23:39) "For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say 'BLESSED IS HE WHO COMES IN THE NAME OF THE LORD.'
  12. Isaiah recognize his sinfulness and unclean lips. God declares that his sins and guilt are removed. God asked, "whom shall I send"? Isaiah responded, "Here I am send me." When I sense God calling, my response is: "Lord give me wisdom and courage, I will go."
  13. Yahweh demonstrated his power, His Might and His Glory. His majesty was revealed: He is the creator of this universe and He fills the whole earth and heaven. The Lord God is Almighty and we must serve and praise Him.
  14. The vinter vision was to produce good fruits, God's people to obey Him and do what is right in His sight. To accomplish this vision, He cleared the way, planted the vinyard, surrounded it with thick hedge to keep out the animals, the soil made ready. Today the LORD have made everything ready for us to follow Him, to do what is right and to walk in His Pathway. When the crop came out it only yielded bad fruit, gross injustic, unrighteousness and cries of distress. The vinter said he would destroy the vinyard, break down walls and trample it. Today we must obey Him and follow Him through our Lord JESUS CHRIST. Again, we must prepare our good fruit today!!
  15. Many people from all nation will come to seek and worship God. The Jews will walk in the light of the Lord. Many will have a Spirtual hunger for God's word and will come to worship Him and obey His word and walk in His Path. Peace will be everlasting. God will settle disputes between nations. War materials will be turned into machines to produce food.
  16. Judah is confused about their own idenity as childern of God. They turned their backs on God and chose to do evil rather than do what is good in our Father sight. The consequences christian suffer today from such idenity confusions: Going along with what is against God's word, example, we seems to be living again in the days of sodom and Gomorrah where many christian/churches seems confused and doesn't see any thing wrong with gay marriage, adultery and sex outside of marriage. God accused his people of bloody hands, not encouraging the oppressed and not defending the rights of fatherless and widows. Their behaviors are unreasonable because they were disobendient and rebel against the Lord. God asked them to come and reason with Him and he will cleans them of their sins.
  17. Many churches advoids exercising displine: Because the church is more concerned about hurting lazy people feeling rather than discipline them and asking them to kindly leave if they do not change their behavior. The proper result of a thoughful and appropiate discipline should change a person lazy habits, and regain their status in the community. The lack of discipline will hurt the Spiritual Life of the church.
  18. "If a man will not work, he shall not eat." Wouldn't that allow people to starve? They should be motivated by hunger to work, if they are able too. The only place people would probable starve would be in some of the countries (I have visited) that people are more than willing to work but there is no work. This would fall under the "weak." that we should help. The postive result of this rule is all able people should work. In the christian community this rule applies to those who can work. It would not apply to the weak and disabled.
  19. Paul set the example by working hard as a tent maker, and did not take advantage of his rights, of support from the people. Paul exercised that right because he didn't want to do anything to hinder the gospel of CHRIST.
  20. Those who refuse to work: "Proverty will come on them like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man." Our duty as christians is to work, support our familes and help the weak and those in need.
  21. Perserverance is important as we see wickness increasing because: we must keep steadfast in God's word, take a strong stand for CHRIST, and to keep wickness from eroding our faith and have boldness and love, and to spread his Word to all people. If we stop believing and being patient, our conscious will grow cold. It will have a negative effect on other christians that knows us and the ones we have witness too. We can help one another persevere by encourging, praying and meeting together in love. Always putting CHRIST first in our lives. Faith in CHRIST is the key part of our salvation. Perseverance is continuous seeking CHRIST and His word. Redemption-CHRIST JESUS suffered and died for our sins. GRACE- We were chosen before the foundation of this world according to the foreknowledge of God our father through the Holy Sprit.
  22. People are gullible because they love to hear the easy way, good things that perks their ears, rather than the truth and be save. They do not want to hear there is an accountabilty for those who chose to keep CHRIST out of their lives. God gives them over to deception when they refuse to love the truth and be saved. God sends them a powerful delusion so they believes satan's lies. Fearless seeking of God's truth is important: because by seeking the truth we learn His way and accept the Lord JESUS CHRIST in our hearts, and we are saved. We must walk daily with Him, and be ready for the return of "THE KING OF KINGS AND THE LORD OF LORDS." Preaching of the truth sets people free by turning away from the prision of sins and following CHRIST JESUS daily.
  23. The characteristics of the antichrist is: Lawless, rebels, opposes all religions, exalt himself and proclaim himself to be God. Revelation 13: 5-8: The beast will blaspheme God and slander all who is in heaven. This passage also tell us that the beast will make war with the saints and conquer them. He will have authority over all the people on earth whose name have not been written the book-of-life.
  24. The Tessalonians were told by a false teachers that CHRIST had already came. CHRIST will appear after the rebellion and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction.
  25. He will return with His Heavenly Host, His glory will be our joy to meet Him in the air. The unbelievers will run and hide among rocks and in caves, asking the rocks to fall on them to get away from JESUS' presence. FEAR-FEAR. To be excluded forever from His glory is eternal punishment. "outer darkness" describes hell as a lonely, dark cold place and eternal separation from the Lord.
