  1. Michal is no longer the proud daughter of being the king's daughter. She is now # 7 in the food chain. She is not seeing the joy of serving the Lord our God. She hates David. I am not bitter toward God of things in the past. As a matter of fact it hurts me when I see and hear people shaking their little bonney fisk in the Almighty God's face and telling Him they are angry at Him...God must have a sense of humor!!! It could have cause David to doubt God, however, this did not happen, he continued to worship and praise God. We can find healing from bitterness only by praying and asking God to remove this from our hearts. God has completely heal me from bitterness-Praise and glory to our Lord God Almighty. If David had conformed to his wife worship expression, he would have been a hypocrite and not expressed his true worship to our God.
  2. When David approached God, he worship him with all his heart. David danced before the Lord and he was not ashamed of the people nor what they thought about him as a King dancing before the LORD. His psalms helps us to praise the Lord in good times and bad times. What other thinks do not affect my ability to worship. In the past I have not always raised my arms and give him the praises He deserves. I am over coming this and ask for your prayers. God has talked me to constantly pray to Him giving Him thanks and praises and glory through our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
  3. God strucked Uzzah because he reached out and took hold of the Art. David is angry because he thought his intentions was good in according to the Art being transported. We should spend more time seeking God's way of doing things.
  4. It should have been carried by the Levites, according to God's instructions. They should have taken time (as we should) to have read or studied the Mosaic Law and God's instructions. We should always seek God's will before we attempt to do any task.
  5. -David remembers Saul's life as loved, gracious, swifter than eagles and stronger than Lions. -The Chronicler remembers Saul's life as unfaithful to the LORD; He did not keep the word of the LORD and even consulted a medium for guidance. He did not inquire of the LORD. God put him to death and gave the Kingdom to David. -I think God evaluated Saul's life as unfaithful and ungracious. -I learn to be faithful and to seek Him only for guidance.
  6. -David cried out to the LORD- the one and only who can help. -David adopted devotional exercise were praying and singing to God. -David focus was his trust in God.
  7. -David's men blamed him, stating that David made them go North with their Philistine enemies. -The situation was so explosive because some of his men were talking of stoning him to death. -In this situation David quietly prayed and asked our God for strength. -David is feeling downcast, exhausted, weak and grief stricken. - David didn't act immediately because he trusted God and knew He would give him strength and help him in this situation. God has heard my prayers and answered me in so many situation that I have faced in life. He rescued me when it seems that it was no way out. MY GOD WAS ALWAYS WITH ME. THANK YOU LORD THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.
  8. God condemns this practices because it allows demons and evil spirits to enter one's soul and mind. Christians will be controlled by evil spirits. If anyone has been involved in this practices in the past they should STOP and Repent. Side note: I could not open questions 1,2 and 3.
  9. We often forget "the battle is the Lord's" because we want to win the battle on our own or we are too busy trying to help God fight our battle. I believe this phrase means ("The battle is the Lord's") we belongs to the Lord and he will fight our battle as he has done for me many, many times when I turned to Him. 1 Peter 5: 6-7 Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time. "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." How can we avoid the arrogance of pulling God into our battle? Be humble unto God. 1 Peter 5: 5 "God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble."
  10. David explained his victory over the Loin and Bear. David knew that only God had given him victory over these huge and dangerous animals, and God would again give him victory over this gaint. How lethal is David as a warrior? Deadly. I think Saul was convinced after hearing David's combat experiences that he could defeat Goliath. I believe Saul faith in God and the source of his faith came from David's experience with killing the Loin and Bear.
  11. This story teaches us to listen careful to God's voice and we will avoid making mistakes. Our instinctive way of discerning is looking at a person and taking them for what they say, the way they speak or dress and ect... God has given me discernment to see inside a person enabling me to see a person as he/she is. God teaches us discern by first praying to Him and asking him to give us wisdom and to lead us in his will. We know what is good and what is evil. We listen to the Spirit by waiting on Him, praying and seeking his guidance, and not rushing.
  12. David was summoned by Saul to the court to become the court's musician to ease Saul's evil Spirit when it came on him. From God's perspective, David was learning the arts and works of becoming a King. Things that pervent us fro learning from God in the midst of our circumstances in which we find ourselves are: We want to solve the circumstances ourselves rather than waiting on God to lead us through, he knows the end results.
  13. The significance of Samuel anointing David was a conformation of God's Choosen one to be King of Israel. The significance of the Holy Spirit coming on David was to teach him and lead him in God's direction. God said he was a man after his own heart. This explains his sucess because the Holy Spirit was upon him and God directed his pathway. The Holy Spirit upon us is vital for our own success as disciples because he teaches us the correct way and give us the wisdom and knowledge to follow Christ Jesus our Lord.
  14. Rebellion is disobeying God's Commands and doing things my way and not God's way. Rebellion is as bad as witchcraft because it is the same as serving another god or letting an evil spirit take control. Arrogance and rebellion are in the same class. If I am arrogance I am rebelling against our Lord and putting myself first. When I find rebellious in my heart: I pray and ask God to remove it and forgive me for my sins (1John 1:9). If we do nothing, our hearts and conscious grows cold.
