Q2. (1:15-16) In your own words, how would you define "holiness"? In what sense are you (by definition) holy now? In what sense must you be obedient in order to become holy? What is your biggest struggle with holiness? Holiness is being pure from sin and being righteous Like God. We are holy because of Christ's death on the cross that freed us from sin. He made us holy in God's eyes. He took away our sin and defeated death. Our biggest struggle is trying to live for God and not our selfs. The devil is always trying to turn us from God.

Q1. (1:13) What about Christ's coming should get our undivided attention? Why should it inspire hope? Why should it inspire self-control and soberness? What happens in our lives when we don't really expect Christ to come soon? Because hes coming for his children and we want to be ready to go home to Glory. Our hope and anticipation or in our Heavenly home where there is joy,no tears,no pain,peace and restored Heavenly bodies like Christ's. This should be enough to inspire anyone. Then the glory of being in the presence of the King hearing him speak and revealing really inspires me. Meeting the Apostles. Moses,.Abraham,Noah,everybody up there thats very very exciting to think about. We get lax in our faith and don't work for God's Glory like we should and lose site of whats waiting for us in Heaven.

Gods part was sending his son to defeat death and secure our salvation.Our part is knowing Jesus was born died on the cross and rose from the dead and asking him to forgive our sins and to be our savior.

This is the joy of knowing the Lord as your savior. Knowing he loves you. Th joy that you have because you are going to Heaven that you inherited the Kingdom of God. It is expressed through our emotions they way we carry our selfs and others perceive us. They see Jesus in us. You can tell by the way we act and if were after treasures in Heaven or on earth. The earthly things will vanish.

Only by obedience to Jesus and his forgiveness of our sin can we have true salvation. This brings a personal relationship with God. You need all parts to make up a whole. Its like a jigsaw puzzle without all the little pieces it just wont make any sense. Extra credit Question: Grace is freely given and obedience is what we give back out of love for what Jesus did for us.Obedience isn't works we do but love for the Lord.

I believe they are more interested in Earthly Treasures than the Heavenly ones. Their thinking of their own wants instead of what God has planed for them. When you get side tracked you just have to Pray and ask for forgiveness and get your mind focused back on the Lord.
