Q5. Equal Worship

Recommended Posts

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

That they are equally worthy of our praise and worship---"if you know Me you know my Father" so since we know Him we know the Father and can give him the praise and worship that He deserves for sending the Son for us and to us; Jesus often said that He was sent to do the Father's tasks and will and on the cross He said as much with His final words---so without the Father He could do nothing and without the Son---the plan of G-d would not have been completed---they need each other to complete the Good News and by the same token we are needed by them to spread the Good News and the Gospel. G-d made the world for us so that we could praise and worship both Him and the Son----for what they have done and for what we are thankful for..........

They are the Trinity therefore they all need to be given praise, honor and glory. Their relastionship to each other is as one and our relationship to them is love and respect

God gave to Jesus all authority in Heaven and on earth (which, incidentally He shares with us through His blood and the use of His Name!). Although Jesus was begotten (not made), He is given all status (a bit like Joseph was in Egypt?) in His special role as the one who took on human flesh and became the complete sacrifice for men, He is to be worshipped as God. This is evidenced by the statement "I and My Father are One", and "I do what I see my Father doing".

Their relationship to one another is indivisible for they are one. What we do to one we do to the other!

Fortunately Jesus' prayer in John 17 is that we should be joined into that unity of Jesus Christ and God the Father. We can be ever thankful for this amazing benefit, ever mindful and ever watchful of it.

The quality of worship that is being offered to both God the father and God the Son is significant in that both the Father and the Son are One. Jesus is God incarnate, He was and is the Word. He said that before Abraham was "I AM". He said that He and the Father are One. If you have seen Him you have seen the Father. There is but one God, there is but one worship. Only the Holy Spirit can reveal this to one. Though some of say that we know that know, we may not truly understand it in it's totality until we are united with Him.

Q5. (Revelation 5:13)

What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son?

The same quality of worship offered to both, God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son, shows the importance they both have equally in our life. For both have done great things for us. All that is promised, that is for us, could not be without God and Jesus doing it as a team. The Father and the Son together, complete all things for us and have first priority and equal influence, equal importance in our lives. The Father needed the Son to do his work. The Son would not be without the Father. The Father needed the Son and the Son needed the Father. We need the Father and the Son in our life. They are united as 'one' and the same. There is potential for fullness for life for us. God created us, gave life. We messed things up and lost our life. Jesus purchased back our life. We give equal worship to God the Father, and Jesus Christ the Son of the Father for without either, we would not be.

What does this tell us about their relationship to each other?

1. They are dependent upon each other.

2. They trust in each other.

3. They are loyal to each other.

4. They are unified, in union, of the same mind and heart; two becoming one who are central to each other in life.

5. They count on each other; to accomplish things.

6. They are equally important to each other; to do things.

7. They have a bond spoken as Father and Son; that there is love for each other.

Their relationship to us?

1. We belong to them; it is a love relationship.

2. We are important to them; they fought for us back.

3. We are their people, heirs. People of God's Kingdom created for Him.

4. We are dependent on them and need them.

5. They are central to our every day lives; first priority.

6. They are our providers, sustain us; they are our all.

7. We count on them and trust on them.

8. A relationship of allegiance, loyalty; of faithfulness.

9. We are their people, their offspring for the Kingdom.

10. They are our benefactors and would not be without them.

11. They are our first priority relationship in life.

12. They are Father and Son, Brother- family; Ruler and King - Royalty, Majesty to us. We are child - offspring, brother, sister, mother; heirs- prince, princess, Queen; servants in the Kingdom.

God and Jesus (and the Holy Spirit) are all one in the same - they are equal so the worship we give is equal. They are deserving of our love, praise, admiration and loyalty. :)

The quality of worship should be that of belief. One Love for God as the Father & as the Son of man for He is the Alpha & Omega (as well as His Holy Spirit), no other God exists or ever will, for He loved us first, enough to shed His own blood for us, that we become one in Him. :)

Genesis 1:26, And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the flesh of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (27), So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 2:7, And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man (Adam) became a living soul. God created all other races first, and then he formed (Adam ) later, Why? because, Adam was the beginning of the seed line to JESUS. Genesis 3:15, And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Satan tried to stop the seed of Jesus, being first, by beguiling Eve in the garden, seducing her, therefore producing Cain, first, and then Able, Cain being like his father,(satan) killed Able. Satan hated Jesus from the beginning, because God had already planned for Jesus to sit on the throne. Jesus and Lucifer are both sons of GOD, Satan turned evil, and Jesus was sent here to save us from satan's number one issue, DEATH. He has been condemed to death and he's trying to get as many souls , as he can before the wrath of God. Their relationship to us is, we are made in their image, in all colors. JESUS's crucifiction, was the beginning , of the end of Satan.

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

It's more explanation of the Father and the Son being one and the same. Man has interaction with the holy Trinity. The Father is creator and omnipresent completeness of all that exists. The Son is the vehicle to the Father and the teacher of man. The Holy Spirit dwells in each man and place of worship to guide us in our journey to oneness with the Father and Son.

THE WAY THAT I LOOK AT IT IS THIS WAY. GOD IS THE FIRST PERSON OF THE TRINITY AND HE IS A PRESENCE, THEN YOU HAVE THE SON WHICH IS THE SECOND PERSON OF THE TRINITY WHO IS ALSO GOD BUT IN MAN'S LIKENESS SO THAT WE WOULD BE ABLE TO HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE HE WAS BORN TO DIE FOR OUR SINS. THEN THE LAST PART OF THE TRINITY IS ALSO GOD IN ANOTHER FORM. SO WE ARE WORSHIPING THE SAME PERSON.THE RELATIONSHIP WITH US IS THAT WE ARE CHILDREN OF GOD.

The Son did nothing but by the will of His Father, thereby when God glorifies us, we glorify God - the circle is complete. They are worthy of praise and worship with the Holy Spirit as the Godhead.

Our relationships, if we are truly walking in spirit and not in flesh, are divine in nature and thereby mimic the relationship of the Father and Son and Holy Spirit as one in the same - bone and bone and flesh of flesh (as noted of divine relationships in Genesis). Our problem is often that we seek flesh of flesh relationships expecting them to be ordained by God and divine in the bone and bone and flesh of flesh - what God has brought together no man can put under. But if our relationships do not honor the character of Christ by reflecting love, forgiveness, free will, and respect - then they are flesh relationships and do not fall under those of divine nature and therefore do not have the protection of God ordained relationships "what God has brough together...". People often think because they sought a mate in the flesh that it automatically makes the relationship divine in nature simply because they "say" their vows in a church. That doesn't make any sense, if we could be saved by simply saying we are saved, there would be no need for the sacrifice. Relationships brought together by God cannot be set aside, they are protected and it doesn't matter what we see with our eyes - in spirit they are truly bone of bone and flesh of flesh. These are the kind of relationships those who truly walk in faith develop - anything else is carnal and of this world and we are not to walk in it.

Their relatioship to us is the bone of bone and flesh of flesh - we are united and whole with them, complete and perfected by them - this is God ordained - this is divine - this is a protected relationship that no man can put under.

REVELATION

Chapter 15

"Song of the Victors, the Song of Moses."

In this chapter we learn a new song, the "Song of Moses". We will also learn what is happening in heaven during the time of God's wrath being poured out on the earth. When you put chapters fourteen and fifteen together, you will have a view of what is happening following the seventh trumpet.

Revelation 15:1 "And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God."

These seven last plagues completes the "wrath of God". The seven plagues are identical with the seven seals and the seven trumpets. This is giving us a different view of the preparation for the delivery of them to the earth. When you put the seals, thunders, trumpets, and plagues together, you get an exact view of what this earth will be going through in these final few years. Many of these events have started years ago, however all will take place before the generation of 1948 [or 1967, and the taking of Jerusalem] passes away.

Revelation 15:2 "And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass having the harps of God."

The "glassy sea" we are looking at here, are those who had the victory over Satan [Antichrist] and his system. They resisted Satan in every way. The sea of glass are all the people who remained true to Jesus Christ. They are God's election.

Revelation 15:3 And they sing the song of Mo'-ses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints."

We are in heaven here, and heaven is where ever Christ is. The greatest clue to understanding God's overall plan is given right here in this verse. They had all overcome, and they all were in one place when they all sang this same song. This song, the "Song of Moses" is the victory song given in Exodus 15:1-19, and also in Deuteronomy 32:1-43.

A victory song always tells how you gained the victory, so it is important for us to know what is in the song. This song then will also let us know how we can have the victory over Satan. The Song of Moses is the key. It will tell us what will be happening, what we are to do about it, and the nearness God will be to us when it is all going on at the end of this earth age.

The time of the song covers the time of the pouring out of the plagues. It begins in knowledge, wisdom and your understanding. Let's review this song, but the entire sons will be given at the end of this chapter of Revelation.

Deuteronomy 31:30 "And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended."

This is what Moses spoke to all Israel, and they were to be guided by this song to be victorious. Go to Deuteronomy 32 and read all of the first 43 verses. It is God telling you what to expect in our day. It's telling you how to become an overcomer. In the fourth verse the overcomers sing; "He is the Rock", and notice the capital "R". "His work is perfect for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He"

In the fifth verse; "They have corrupted themselves, their spot is not the spot of his children: They are a perverse and crooked generation." The ones called "they" refers back to the "Rock", and are the ones who were of the "Rock" but became crooked and perverse. They are of the five churches of Revelation 2 and 3, that took on the "spots" of the Kenites: The ones who allowed Satan's children to deceive them. "They" were not acceptable to the Lord, as were the churches of Smyrna, and Philadelphia. God's children know the difference between the Kenite spots, when in their midst, and their own kind. We are direct by and through His word.

Chapter 32:1-43 is what we are to know, to keep our hearts and minds pure in the days of Antichrist. While your doing your studying, just remember who is doing the singing. They are all the saints of God, who had the victory over Satan, the beasts, his mark, and his name [Revelation 15:2]. This is the Song of Moses.

Revelation 15:4 "Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest."

This is part of the "Song of Moses". On the first day of the Millennium, every knee shall bow to the Lord. All shall be in their soul [spiritual] bodies, and understanding will not be hampered by any physical or mental defects. Then all will see the Holiness of the Lord Jesus Christ, and our Heavenly Father.

This day of the Lord will also start a time of teaching, and those who are the overcomers will be the rulers and teachers [priests] during the Millennium. Ezekiel 40 through 44 details the events of this time.

Revelation 15:5 "And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:"

This verse is basically from the "Septuagint", you have a translation that came from the Hebrew to Greek, to the Latin, then on to the English. "The temple of the tabernacle of the testimony", should read, "The tabernacle of the congregation". But, of who? More then likely it is from both sides of the gulf in heaven, those with the victory, and those who do not have victory.

Heaven's door is again opened, and others are about to be booted out. Satan and his fallen angels were booted out five months earlier, as we have seen in Revelation 9:5, 10, and now another group of souls are about to leave for earth.

Revelation 15:6 "And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen [arrayed with precious stone, pure and bright], and having their breasts girded with golden girdles."

This verse shows what goes to make up the priest's apparel. The seven angels are preparing to make and install priests. The "fine linen" in the Hebrew text reads, "precious stones pure and bright". These precious stones go to make up the breast plates of the priest. Each tribe is represented by their own stone. The tabernacle here is the Millennium tabernacle.

Revelation 15:7 "And one of the four beasts [living creatures] gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever."

Only God's love will go to those who had victory over Satan, the beast, his name and his number. These seven vials filled with God's wrath are focused on those who defiled themselves with Antichrist, and refused the salvation of Jesus Christ. God's enemies will receive God's wrath. That wrath is spelled out is chapter sixteen.

Revelation 15:8 "And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled."

Smoke here signifies the presents of God. We are at a point of time where Christ has returned to earth, and the beast has been conquered, as well as the entire system. The priest robes have been put on, and the "congregation of the tabernacle" has been put on. And now something is about to happen in heaven.

Heaven is locked tight until the seven vials of God's wrath has been completed.

The significance of the equal quality of worship in Revelation 5:13 is Jesus and God are one and the worship for each of them is equal. I feel a closer personal relationship with Jesus. I am sure this is because he came to earth as a human and what he did for us. Jesus and God are both worthy of praise and worship.

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

God, Jesus The Son, and The Holy Spirit, The Trinity, They are one.

So they deserve the same quality of worship. We have to go through Jesus to know God. Jesus is the word of God. Jesus gave his life to save us from sin and he left behind the comforter The Holy Spirit.

Their relationship to us is one and the same. The three all represent God and his word. They love us so much that God gave his son to save us from sin. Knowing what Jesus endured who could say that he doesn't deserve the quality of worship?

We should praise God and Jesus who are 1 in the same. Our relationships should be as loving as the Trinity. Their relationship to us should be 1 in the same.

The Trinity is composed of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit so when we worship all we worship each one. The Spirit is inside us and God and Jesus are on their throngs
