Q5. Equal Worship

Recommended Posts

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

One is not greater than the other for they are one. Father, God, Holy Spirit, 3 in 1.

All are worthy of our most sincere worship. We should be loving God the Father and God the Son with all our heart, soul, mind, and spirit. When we do this - worship is easy.

Signicance that they are on the same standing, one is not higher that the other, they are one. From this we can see that they are in perfect relationship to each other no competion, the one lifts up the other and gives glorry to the other, they are in perfect union.

We are invited into this perfect relationship in worship.

this proves that Jesus is God also due th the fact that they are worshiped together.

there relationship with each other is as Christ stated saying that if you seen me you have seen the Father the Father and I are one. They both deserve equal worship.

If Christ died for us (which he did) then God also equally died for us and loves us as much as Jesus does

God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son are one in the same. They are both worthy of our worship. It is through Jesus that we can come to the Father. We need a relationship with Jesus to enter a relationship with the Father - yet they are one in the same.

God the Father and Jesus Christ is one and the same, then take the Holy Spirit>>and you have 3 in 1

The relationship comes from the Holy Spirit because through the Spirit we believe in the Father and Son''and his everlasting Love!

Worship is to God alone, God the Father and Jesus the Son are one.

God the Father started the work by creating the world and Jesus finished the work of redemption.

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

Simply put they are One, separated only by the fact that G-d came to the earth to dwell with us and to be sacrificed for our sins. He rose again to sit at the Right Hand of G-d. Their relationship to us is that of Creator, Father, Friend, and Mentor.

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son?

Holy, Holy, Holy, is God Almighty who sits upon the throne. He is supreme, the one and only true God. Day and night the Father of our Lord Jesus deserves to receive, glory, honor, thanks and worship, for His great mercy and love, for who He is.

The quality of worship is the same for the Anointed One of God, His Son Jesus, for He is the promise, the root from Jesse. He will rise to rule the nations, and He will give the nations hope.

He came to earth in the name of the LORD, in the authority of His Father, Jesus is the only one who deserves to take the scroll, He is the only one worthy enough to open the seals, because He came and gave His own life, no one took it from Him, and he purchased people with His blood to be God

God the Father, Jesus the Son, (and the Holy Ghost, or Holy Spirit) are one and the same. There is only ONE God, though He has different representations. We usually pray to God, and ask for His intercession in the Name of Jesus. Nevertheless, when we pray to one, we pray to them all (or to God, the only God).

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

Jesus said when he was here that He obeyed the father out of Love, he said the Father was stronger than the Son. We have so many songs about Jesus and so many old testament text/verse is about Jesus, in prophecy. That is why the profits were called profits. It all points to Jesus, worship him as the Savior of Humanity, and talk to the Father as our real true father, who is not imperfect like our human fathers are.

Our Father, with Jesus and the Holy Spirit created everything we see and know, they made all the rules of physics, of the universe of all matter and DNA combinations. It is magnificent, beyond words. he sent Jesus to redeem the entire world. jesus did as he was told, and for this we see both His love and the Father's love, that what he did we may understand through the bible.

Mighty, holy holy holy, perfect, unfailing, we don't have the words to praise them fully, so we do the best we can.

We need the Triune God and the bible shows us and helps us understand this.

Praise God the Father for HIS Perfect Plan and Praise JESUS for what he did during His life and for His sacrifice; Love so amazing, Thank you Lord God for your love and mercy. Amen

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

The Father, Son and Holy Spirit operate as One. One is not more important than the other. They are three in one in perfect harmony. They wish to operate in perfect harmony in our lives, too, if we allow them.

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

In Revelation 5:13 we see that every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, were heard saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever. The worship to God the Father and to the Lamb of God is indistinguishable. Jesus tells us that He is one with the Father and we should worship both with utmost reverence.

Q5. (Revelation 5:13)

What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son?

What does this tell us about their relationship to each other?

Their relationship to us?

God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son, being one, are equally worthy of our worship and praise. They are our all, our creator, our God, our Heavenly Father, our Redeemer, our Brother, with us always.

I do not see it exactly as many of you do, to me the scriptures tells me there is only One that sits on the throne, there is only One who has total control over all,it is God.

We who believe in the "One God" understand He is superior to the Son and to the Holy Spirit in His position and authority, this is why God the Father is always first, this is why the Son is under God's headship.

Christ came to reconciled us to who He calls, His God and Father. God the Father, the One true God, sent His Son to redeem mankind to God. Christ is worthy to sit at the right hand of God, interceding for us.

There is no competition between the two, The Lamb came to do the will of the Father. Christ taught us the greatest law, that we love God, His Father, with all our hearts. Christ taught us how to pray to the One true God who sits on the throne. Christ came so that we would follow His example and give glory to God, His Father.

Worthy is God's Passover lamb and to whom I give praise and worship!!!!

I give praise and worship to the LORD who is the One who sits on the throne, praise and worship to God's Son, who is sitting at God's right hand, praise and worship I give to the Holy Spirit - Praise and worship I give to the three in One.

Jesus told His followers that when they saw Him they saw the Father - this tells me that there is no real distinction between the two which affords them the same quality of worship. . . Jesus came out from the Father thereby being one with the Father. . . God, the Father, and Jesus the Son have great respect and honor for each other that is predicated

The God-head which consist of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are to be afforded the same worship, each have a distinct function.

Q5. (Revelation 5:13) What is the significance of the same quality of worship being offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son? What does this tell us about their relationship to each other? Their relationship to us?

Rev 5:13- And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, [be] unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever

Answer: The significance of the same quality of Worship offered to both God the Father and Jesus Christ the Son,is that THEY ARE EQUAL,THAT THEY ARE ONE.

Col 1:15- Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature

Col 1:19 For it pleased [the Father] that in him should all fulness dwell.

Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Therefore if God=Jesus, and Jesus is dwelling in us Through the Holy Spirit, then our Spirit is also now in Heaven, seated at the Right Hand of the Father, and the Spirit that God has Given us,is actually His omnipresence quality, that is present to all believers.

Both the Father and Son receive the same worship. They are one and the same. We, when we accepted Jesus in our hearts, will have the same relationship with both the Father, God, and the Son, Jesus. There is also a third person that receives our worship too. That other person is the Holy Spirit.

From the first chpt of Revelation, the Trinity has been established. Here, again, we see the praise and worthiness of Jesus established as "every knee will bow at the name of Jesus and every tongue confess him Lord" Philippians 2:11. God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are one, and as such, worship and honor should be given to all the same. We were created for this -- to honor and praise God, the three in one in hopes that one day we shall be victors and receive crowns of glory.
