To treat wife wrongly will hinder husband's prayers because men who are selfish and overbearing are unlikely to be the kind of people who spend much time in prayer and God doesn't listen to the prayers of hypocrites and sinners. Treating your wife wrong can hinder one's prayers because he is after all held accountable before God. just as a husband who treats his wife wrong and it hinders his prayers, so also if a wife treats her husband wrongly it can hinder her prayers to the Lord. God is a Righteous Father Who delights in the loving relationship of His children.
