Q4. Why We Will Have Resurrection Bodies

Our resurrected bodies will be like Christ's resurrected body was. He was flesh and bone, able to eat, to touch, to come and go supernaturally at will. Walked through locked doors. He was able to reveal or conceal Himself at will.
I think we will have resurrection bodies so that we will not be bound and limited to the physical world. We will be busy doing God's work, ruling the nations, and we will need resurrection bodies, glorified bodies, to do that. Sometimes we need glorified bodies now! Besides this glorified body will have to last for eternilty! Thats a long time. resurrection bodies will be a must!

We shall be like Jesus, like his Glorious Body, We will bear likeness to Him.
The song of God's people praises Christ's work. He was slain, purchased them with His blood gathered them into a kingdom, made them priests, and appointed them to reign on the earth. Jesus has already died and paid the penalty for sin, He is now gathering us into His kingdom and making us priests, in the future we will reign with Him worship God and praise Him for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do for all who trust in Him, When we realize the glorious future that awaits us,
The believers' song praises Christ for bringing them into the kingdom and making them Kings and priests. While now we are sometimes despised and mocked for our faith, in the future we will reign over all the earth. Christ's death made all believers priests of God -- the channels of blessings between God and mankind. We are being Prepared to rule and reign with Christ when He returns with us during that 1000 years when there is a new heaven and earth. Glory to God

Scripture states that we will be like Christ and that is what i will believe how will those bodies compare to the ones we now have I con't know but being like Christ will be enough for me, the pain and suffering gone, no longer submissive to daily sin and short comings how great those bodies will be.
The point as I see it is to let us know that God formed us out of a handful of clay and He is capable of restoring our bodies and making them better than now. We will be like Christ and ever praising and worshiping the creater of us all The Father God our Redeemer.

Our resurrected bodies will be like Christ's. Jesus' body after resurrection was just like what he was before his death. The difference was that the resurrected body was not limited to this physical world only. Our resurrected bodies will also not be limited to this physical world only because it will be glorified bodies (incorruptible).
We need this resurrected body in order live in the new earth and heaven God will create. We also need this special glorified bodies to perofrm our tasks in the Kingdom of God.

I think our bodies will not be unlike the ones we have now, the difference being we will be filled with the power of the Lord and the sins of the flesh will be gone.We will all be beautiful but different and we will all love each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. we will be filled with glory shining in the light that is God. our earthly bodies as of now are given in to sin we are not worthy of any kind of holiness.we have to be transformed in one word into a new glorius body in able to be worthy of being in the prescence of Gods holy light.

We will be like God's angels, physically perfect and beautiful in a spiritual element. We must have our glorified bodies in order to live in God's presence. We cannot see His face until we are glorified with Him. That has been His plan from the beginning - why He sacrificed His only Son Jesus, for us, to be able to call us all home with Him. Jesus' death played the major role in our redemption bodies. He took our sins with Him, so that we could be glorified with the Father on the last day. He was resurrected so that we can totally believe and trust in this wonderful gift of grace that we could never earn or deserve on our own.

God made Adam in His own image, as we. It is in a body that God communed with Adam, as His friend. It would seem that the Father desires this appearence of us and that is good enough for me. In that vain, as Adam walked in the Garden of Eden, so too will we walk in the new earth.

There will be no big " I's" in heaven. We will all be doing God's work. We will all be equal righteous angels and priests.
To go from earth to heaven and back again doing the work of Christ.

Our resurrected bodies will be like our Savior's glorious body bearing the likeness of the man from heaven, the son of God. Our bodies will be flesh and bones, we will be able to eat and drink, walk and talk, we will be recognizable when we want to be, we will be able to relate to the physical world and the spiritual world. We will be able to appear and disappear, and we will be of good health and spirit and full of beauty. These new bodies will be given to us so that we can live in the new world. Our old bodies were full of sin and weak and full of sickness and disease, this will not occur with our new bodies. Praise the Lord!

Our resurrection bodies shall be like Jesus Christ a glorious body.
We arew given a new resurrection bodies because in the new heaven and earth there will be no sin nor sickness, this is why our body will be change.
Because we will be in the presence of God.

I believe that our resurrection bodies will be virtually the same in attributes as Jesus' was, with the same non-limitational qualities that he had. The good question is: Because Jesus' body had scars and wounds, will ours have similar recognizable attributes? Ralph answers that Jesus' body was a special case for recognition purposes, implying that it won't be for us. Of that, I'm not so sure.... The point? Maybe living in this new dimension requires a 'new dimension body.'

"The Lord Jesus, who by the power that enables Him to bring everything under His control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like His glorious body."-Phil 3:21
Our new bodies will be incorruptible, able to navigate both the physical and spiritual realms.
We will have bodies because that is what God has desired for mankind since the beginning of creation. Man was form from the dust of the earth and God breathed the breath of life into him.
I believe it was God's will for man to live on earth forever, but the entrance of sin into the Garden of Eden changed all that. The new earth and new heaven goes back to God's original plan.
We will need our glorifyed bodies in order to go back and forth between the new heaven and new earth.
Awhile back I read the book "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn which was about what the new earth may be like. Then not longer after, my pastor did a series on heaven which included the new earth.
Lately, I can't stop thinking about what living on the new earth will be like. As a conservationist, the thought of spending eternity on the new earth appeals to more far more than eternity in heaven.

Our resurrection body will be like Jesus' resurrection body. It will be able to relate to the physical world like a normal physical body. But it will be not limited to the physical world. It will be able to enter locked doors, disappear and appear at will. It will be incorruptible, glorified, powerful, and able to navigate in the spiritual realm. It will be no longer mortal.
We will be given resurrection bodies, because that is God's plan to give us the victory over death. But God' plan to in our resurrection body is not only that. He may give us some role in the new heaven and the new earth that he will create.
