Q1. OT Sacrifices as God's Grace
elaineer replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 5. My Blood Poured Out for Many (Matthew 26:28)
God accepted the animal sacrifice for the atonement of sin in the old testament instead of people being sacrificed. -
Q1. Bearing Our Sin
elaineer replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 4. My Body Given for You (Luke 22:19b)

Q4. Sharers in the Sacrifice
elaineer replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Being Sharers in the Sacrifice
It makes me so humble to think that a sinner like me can participate in the Lords supper. -
Q3. Priests Eating OT Sacrifices
elaineer replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Being Sharers in the Sacrifice
When the people brought there sacrifices to the alter, the priests ate a portion of it for the atonement of there sin. We are partaking in communion and sharing it with other believers, the same as the priests made burnt offerings for the people on the alter. -

Koinonia means participation to share. To participate/share means to have communion with believers of Christ. -
Q1. Cup of Lord, Cup of Demons
elaineer replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Being Sharers in the Sacrifice
Paul was making it clear to the Corinthians that they could not worship idols and the Lord. They could not serve God and the demons. The church was not practicing what Paul had taught them previously, there was greed, jealously, worshiped idols. The danger was the believers would follow the world and not God. -
Q4. Proclaiming Christ's Death
elaineer replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Remembering and Proclaiming His Death
-It is a remembrance of the Lord until His return.- -The proclamation is made to the world. -It is important because we believe in the Lord. - I personally think there would be no church. -
Q3. Remembering
elaineer replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Remembering and Proclaiming His Death
---Our remembrance of Christs death is important, because it riminds us that Christ died for the forgiveness of our sins. ---Christianity would die if we did not remember what Christ did for the world. ---We would become as the world is should we forget Christs death. -
Q2. The Passover Feast
elaineer replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Remembering and Proclaiming His Death
1.The purpose was for the Jewish people to teach the future generations of what God did for them in Egypt. 2.It was repeated so that they do not forget God's deliverance. 3.If the Jews stopped remembering the Exodus they cannot get to know who God is. -
I do believe that anything done repetitively would become mundane. However,Jesus commanded it repetition so that we do not forget why we partake of the Lords Supper.

Q4. Compelling Proofs
elaineer replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. Convincing Proofs of Christ's Bodily Resurrection
The Most compelling to me about the Resurrection is firstly how neat the lined clothes were still layed out perfectly as if a body was just taken out,and also the scene between Jesus and Mary Madeleine, because she was absolutely devastated after the death of Jesus and absolutely transformed when she realized it was Him she was speaking with. The only proof i could give to friends is what Jesus has done in my life and what He is still doing because He is alive.
