  1. The covenant was ratified by sprinkling the blood of young bulls on the alter. The people agreed to obey God. Blood was sprinkled.
  2. God accepted the animal sacrifice for the atonement of sin in the old testament instead of people being sacrificed.
  3. Jesus bore our sins onto his body, and we should remember this when we take communion.
  4. It makes me so humble to think that a sinner like me can participate in the Lords supper.
  5. When the people brought there sacrifices to the alter, the priests ate a portion of it for the atonement of there sin. We are partaking in communion and sharing it with other believers, the same as the priests made burnt offerings for the people on the alter.
  6. Koinonia means participation to share. To participate/share means to have communion with believers of Christ.
  7. Paul was making it clear to the Corinthians that they could not worship idols and the Lord. They could not serve God and the demons. The church was not practicing what Paul had taught them previously, there was greed, jealously, worshiped idols. The danger was the believers would follow the world and not God.
  8. -It is a remembrance of the Lord until His return.- -The proclamation is made to the world. -It is important because we believe in the Lord. - I personally think there would be no church.
  9. ---Our remembrance of Christs death is important, because it riminds us that Christ died for the forgiveness of our sins. ---Christianity would die if we did not remember what Christ did for the world. ---We would become as the world is should we forget Christs death.
  10. 1.The purpose was for the Jewish people to teach the future generations of what God did for them in Egypt. 2.It was repeated so that they do not forget God's deliverance. 3.If the Jews stopped remembering the Exodus they cannot get to know who God is.
  11. I do believe that anything done repetitively would become mundane. However,Jesus commanded it repetition so that we do not forget why we partake of the Lords Supper.
  12. FOR ME IT IS GOD'S GRACE.PARTAKING OF THE ELEMENTS OF WINE AND BREAD GIVES ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO ASK THE LORD FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF MY SIN AND TO ACCEPT HIS FORGIVENESS.
  13. Not sure if some people realize the importance of why we take the elements of wine and bread.
  14. for me it is a reminder that Jesus sacrificed himself for the forgiveness of my sin. It is is also a reminder for me that i do it in remembrance of Jesus and will take it until He returns.
  15. I think our bodies will be like Christs after he was resurrected. We will receive resurrected bodies because the bodies we have now is full of sin,and that we become sinless so that we may see the Father. The point is we need new bodies so that we are can relate to every person in the kingdom.
  16. As describe in 1 Corinthians are bodies will be imperishable,in glory,in power and spiritual.
  17. After we die we will be with Christ and wait for the resurrection.
  18. The word used instead of Rapture is resurrection. Jesus will appear on the clouds, and the Lord will chose those who had been faithfully following Him before the judgement takes place, and the Glory will be us spending eternity with the Lord.
  19. We must not give up but persevere in all the trails we will endure in this world. To hold on in steadfastness. We will see the glory of the Lord.
  20. I believe that that every word in the bible is true, and the fact that Jesus was raised as the bible says i have no doubt that we also will be raised. Jesus was the first to be raised from the dead.
  21. When we are baptized we are buried with Christ, and when we are lifted out the water we are made new in Christ, We are raised through faith in the power of God. We share Christs power and privilege in heaven.
  22. if we do not believe Jesus raised from the dead,we will have difficulty believing we will be saved and have eternal life. the fact the Jesus was raised gives us confidence that our salvation is a firm expectation based on Jesus'resurrection from the dead.
  23. No credibility would be found in the teachings of Jesus. The resurrection is the promise of God that Jesus would raise up on the 3rd day.
  24. The Most compelling to me about the Resurrection is firstly how neat the lined clothes were still layed out perfectly as if a body was just taken out,and also the scene between Jesus and Mary Madeleine, because she was absolutely devastated after the death of Jesus and absolutely transformed when she realized it was Him she was speaking with. The only proof i could give to friends is what Jesus has done in my life and what He is still doing because He is alive.
