  1. Through various trials the church goes through and tests. He does this in our own lives. The things we go through help builds our faith in him and trust in him alone. It helps make us better people. It helps prepare us for his return. Jesus wants us to have clean hearts and be clean vessels to be used for service. Jesus wants us to live holy lives and he purifys us and refines us so we can live and be that way. On that great day I hope that I won't. It starts right here where I am at in this life. So I will need to judge my own self and make sure that I am following The Lord and doing things for the right reasons. It is not always about the quantity because each of us have different calls and amounts of work to accomplish according to what God gives us. But, the quality of work is what matters. We can do alot of things and it ends up amounting to not much of anything but what matters most is the quality. We want to finish with an A plus in the end.
  2. Jesus has always existed. He was with God at the beginning and he is the end. There is no other way but through Jesus. No other door but through Jesus. Jesus is the first of the new creation to come on the new earth because we been made new in our spirits when we were born again. All things begin with him all things end with him. We all must face Jesus in the end. Since Jesus is perfect in every way he can be trusted to fulfill his promises. Jesus is God in the flesh. God doesn't lie and Always keeps his promises.
  3. I try my best to follow Jesus and seek to please him and the plan he has for my life. I not perfect and I am definitely growing and training. I depend on Jesus and but there is always room for improvement. Without him I can't fulfill the destiny he has for me. The evidence I would have would be my lifestyle in front of people and behind closed doors and any fruit I'm producing. God can give a person discernment to see if I'm truly being honest. Repentance- I would need to repent of any dead works and repent of trying to control my own life and allow Jesus to run it. Not half way run it but Fully run it.
  4. Jesus is the true light because he is the one who lights the way for everyone. This world is in darkness and they do not realize that the true light has come with Jesus. The world searches for truth and light but they will only get that through Jesus. Jesus shines through me. God has made his home within me. Jesus speaks through me to draw others to him. That is how I am a light to. Jesus expects me to tell the truth to people which brings light into their lives and situation. People resist truth because their hearts are hardened to truth. People want to accept their own philosophy of thinking. The world gives a false light their deceiving themselves. Different things can obstruct Jesus light and the light he shines through us. Men's philosophies, hard hearts. The devil blinds people by having them think that how they see things are accurate and true when it's not. Truth only comes from The Lord who reveals truth to us with open ears.
  5. Because our world needs to be healed. We need healing in different ways. The world needs to be cleansed spiritually. What it means to me is I receive healing physically for the issues that I have in my body. Which I have receive healing in my body through Jesus from health issues. Jesus is Awesome! Jesus is My Great Physician. But not only that he has dealt with me spiritually and cleansed me of my sins. Jesus heals me of any emotional issues. He makes my heart clean and helps keep my thoughts clean.
  6. The scriptures have made it very clear that there is no other way to God. John 14:6 makes it very clear. This is not about how someone may imagine how they want things to be. It's about truth and only truth will get you into eternity with God. It offends the world because man want their own philosophy of thinking to be true. Some men have hardened their hearts to truth. Man doesn't want to be held accountable to no one but themselves. Presenting Jesus in a mean way and condemning people is not the way. Jesus must be presented in a loving way and that we love them enough to want them to understand truth.
  7. The images attract to our world because we need order and we need a righteous king to rule. So as the Conquering King coming reassures us that the old order of things which are not best will past away and the righteous King will rule. Wickedness will be dealt with. As Spiritual Rock he is there with us in everything we go through. Jesus sustains us and strengthen us so we can succeed.
  8. The Good Shepherd guides and protects his people. If one tries to leave he will come after that sheep to bring him home. The Good Shepherd watches his people to make sure they are fully taken care of because they are not wise enough to do it on their own. The sheep does not see the dangers that are ahead but The Good Shepherd does and wants to protect them from it. The Good Shepherd is the leader. We can demonstrate we are Good Shepherds by following Jesus example not just doing things our own way. By having a loving attitude toward others that God has place in our care to minister to or bless. We don't just see it as another job but see it as glorifying God Almighty by allowing his love to shine through us to others in order to draw others that already belong to him closer to him or those who don't belong to him into salvation.
  9. We are to assist Jesus by ministering to lost souls when we have the opportunity. When God opens that door up. Some people heart is not as soft and we just have to wait until their heart softens some. Jesus wants all people to change though it doesn't happen. It still doesn't change his heart for all lost souls so it should be apart of all Christian's mission to minister to some extent to the lost. God doesn't force anyone to accept him so we shouldn't try to force others to accept him. If a person is not submitting to the words The Holy Spirit is trying to speak through us then we have to know when to say ok I have to let God soften this person's heart to listen to me or he will have to try in another way. You don't want to push people further from God by being forceful. You want to try to maintain that relationship so God might want to use you later.
  10. What it means to me personally is that Jesus died for me because I was lost to. That he loved me that much (More than I realize) and came and died for me. He looked past any mistakes I made but still wanted me in eternity with him. A perfect Holy God still wanted me to be in eternity with him regardless of my mistakes. That's love beyond human love. It should remind me that i too was never perfect when dealing with others that are in deep sin. Just like Jesus died for me he also died for them to no matter what they have done. So just like God had mercy on me and made sure I would be with him eternity I should also want the same thing done for them. Though we have a free will to choose, I still should want them to choose right regardless of what they are doing.
  11. We are to follow Jesus example by living it out on a daily basis everything that Jesus taught. We are suppose to be growing and becoming more like him. So we are to not only think about ourselves we are to think about others and serve them. An individual is not called to everyone in need but there are specific people The Lord has called each individual to. It can be hard for a human to humble themselves at times or at all. Depending on what understanding they have on humility from God. Humans sometimes have to have it their way and have to always be right all the time and that can turn into pride and arrogance. It is something about humans that just don't want to humble themselves and admit wrong and to admit there is a God they are being held accountable to. Some people want their own philosophy of thinking, their own set of rules which can make it very difficult to humble themselves. Obedience can be hard to for people at times for the same reason. They want to do it their way with their own set of rules and don't want to be held accountable to no one but themselves because they want to make the rules. I struggle in just making sure I'm doing everything The Lord has been instructing me to do even if I don't feel like it. If he tells me in my heart to go and pray for this person over here or there then I need to do it regardless of anything else I may need or want to do. Just making sure I'm doing everything he is telling me to do whether it is praying or anything else. That would be humbling myself the way I'm suppose to .
  12. Jesus is the Lamb of God because he is the only one that is perfect to be that perfect sacrifice that God required of us. No human could do it. Only Jesus could. Animal sacrifices were not perfect though God used them temporary. A Holy And Perfect God requires a perfect sacrifice. Jesus fully takes away our sins. We have been truly and fully forgiven and cleanse of unrighteous. Though we are still suppose to grow and become more like Jesus in our ways and actions. Jesus is the perfect sacrifice. He fully represents me. God has forgiven me because of Jesus. So when I mess up on something. Jesus is there standing with me as my atonement. I could never be good enough to be my own sacrifice. I could never approach God in that way.
  13. Jesus holiness and righteousness demands that we follow his pattern in our own personal lives, in front of people and behind closed doors when no one is looking. The sheep were the ones who live for Jesus and follow Jesus ways and obeyed him and cared about others. The goats did not serve Jesus the way they were supposed to. So it is wise to follow Jesus ways not the world's ways or the ways of the flesh.
  14. Jesus puts himself as equal with God with the I Am statements. This let's us know that he is making it clear that he is equal with God and that he is God in the flesh. All of the I am statements are very important to me personally but the one I choose to say something about is I am the good shepherd. I always depend on Jesus to be my shepherd to guide me to lead me. When I need direction I trust in The Father which also includes Jesus and The Holy Spirit to guide me fully even when I don't understand what is fully going on. Jesus has always proven himself faithful in shepherding me. Jesus will Always be faithful in leading and guiding me and taking care of me.
  15. Jesus is fully God at The Father's side. Jesus is not The Father but he is God Almighty The Son. Jesus is not just another created human being or a child by the new birth. Jesus already existed. He was already perfect and already God Almighty existing as the Son. We are sons and daughters of God but we are created but Jesus is not. Jesus is God and Lord just like The Father and it was very costly for The Father to send his son down here to die for us. Jesus did not do any wrong and had to have a temporary separation from heaven from his Father. It's says a whole lot overall.
  16. Jesus is The Father's beloved. But God loved us so much that he sent his son Jesus to die for us. Only a perfect sacrifice could satisfy The Father, a Holy God. So Jesus was the perfect answer because Jesus is perfect. It was God's great love for us that sent Jesus to the cross. It also says that God's love for us is beyond what any human could ever give. It's greater than we understand as humans.
  17. Because Jesus is God Almighty and is divine just like the Father. He already existed before we did. He has always existed. Yes when you deal with Jesus it is the same as dealing with The Father. When Jesus says something it is the same as The Father saying it. Jesus would never say anything that the Father didn't agree with. His words are perfect. So when Jesus says something it is The Father saying it to. Yes I know Jesus the Son of God and Yes I do love him.
  18. It is very important for me to listen to Jesus because he is also God. If Jesus is truly My Lord and God then I will want to listen to what he has to say about my life and what I'm doing with my life and he has a right to have an opinion about things concerning my life. Jesus also has the right tell me what to do and not to do. My life reflects listening to him by the things I do and my responses to things around me and dealing with other people. Not giving in to sin just because someone else is doing it. If he tells me to study this or that then I do it. To act more like this or that then I need to reflect that in my behavior. A way I need to heed him more explicitly is probably knowing when the best time to say something and when it is not. Sometimes I say the right things but maybe it could have been put in a better way or just said at a another time. But I am getting better at that. It's a journey and I am always growing.
  19. Peter recognize Jesus as The Christ, The Son of the living God. Peter receive this information directly from The Father. Jesus did not want the attention the title will bring to him by what the disciples knew. It wasn't time for it yet.
  20. Isaiah 11:6-9 is a very beautiful prophecy. I look forward to a time of peace and rest. That is something that I am definitely looking forward to. I love that Jesus is called the Prince of Peace. Because in my heart I longed for the peace that only God can give. There is peace living in this life and we don't suppose to walk around in worry. But, there is also a perfect peace that will only come from when Jesus reigns. Where righteous will reign the way it suppose to.
  21. Jesus is the one who gave his life for us and he is our mediator with God. There is no other mediator. Since Jesus is the one mediator then it is not appropriate to pray to another saint to intercede for you. It can actually hinder the deeper relationship a person can have with God. Jesus intercedes for us and he is the perfect representative for us. God has reconciled the world to himself in Jesus. One way is if someone is saying something that is not right about another and I understand the situation better I will try to help the person saying something to have a more understanding heart. If I can help with any physical needs I try to help or ask The Lord to help provide. If there is any conflict going on I like to try to keep peace. I don't like confusion among people.
  22. Jesus didn't like unbelief. Jesus definitely likes to be trusted and believed. When he says something in his word or to us personally he definitely wants us believe him that it is true and it will happen. But even with all that,he experienced joy with his Father. Jesus was also looking ahead to what he was getting by going through all of this. Beautiful souls and alot of fruit being produce. We know that this world is going to end , so we have to look at things in light of eternity. We are called to still have joy and laugh and have fun with family and friends. We are called to definitely care about others and help others but not to walk around worrying. That's not helping either.
  23. It means I want to be obedient to the Lord because he is my Lord and Savior. I am also looking forward to his kingdom coming in eternity. I want to always be very thankful and appreciative to the things Jesus has done by taking away my sins and other things that he does for me daily.
  24. Jesus truths contrast because this world's belief system is out of order. His truths goes totally against it many ways. For example the world can believe that it is ok to practice this religion and that religion but Jesus made it very clear that he is the only way to The Father. It's doesn't matter how kind someone else is to their family or to humanity as a whole, they still have to accept Jesus truths. People in the world can think it is ok to sleep with this person and that person with no real commitment in marriage and no consequences but Jesus has made it clear in his word that it is not ok to do that. There are consequences to doing the wrong things in life. People have to understand their need to change and that there is forgiveness through Jesus. Jesus wisdom is different because Jesus brings the truth which convicts the heart to do what is right. The world's wisdom brings only temporary satisfaction with no real lasting results. It may last for awhile ( the world's wisdom) but it's not bringing lasting results, forever results. Alot of times the world's wisdom just feeds the flesh. Eventually man's wisdom fails anyway. What will make me hold on to Jesus truth and wisdom more effectively is by studying and meditating on his truths and wisdom on a daily basis. Not staring at them and no fruit being produce but keeping them in my heart daily and actually living them out on a daily basis. Also, me allowing the Holy Spirit to guide me daily on what I need be studying and how I should be studying. How he may tell someone else to do something may not be how he tell me to do it. Something I need to keep in mind.
  25. Jesus is the true and faithful witness because he is trustworthy and his words can always be trusted. It doesn't matter how strange to the world those words may sound or even if they may sound strange or not understandable to a believer his words can always be trusted. His words will come to pass whether they are spoken to people overall or in a person's own life. Jesus was a witness to who The Father is. His personality, character and his love for us. He witness to people who the Father is and what is to come. He was faithful in his witness by completing his destiny on earth. By remaining faithful no matter what was going on to do what he was called to do. I'm a true and faithful witness by testifying to others the good things that God has done in my life and taught me in order for them to be blessed so their lives may change to as well. Well, when i improved as a witness I will be able to touch more lives and make more of a difference. Also I believe that will give me an even deeper of an understanding of Jesus.
