  1. Q1. (2 Corinthians 4:1-2) How do questionable ethics and ministry practices hurt the work of Christ? People they loose their faith. our calling is an indivisual call 1John 3 v7 Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. Let us know the word of God and be the doers of the word. What is Paul’s alternative in verse 2b? We don't twist God's Word to suit ourselves.
  2. Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:16-17) Why is the Holy Spirit essential to help people see truth clearly and be able to grasp it? The Holy Spirit is essential to help us in our daily walk with the Lord, to guide us into all truth, to remind us with the things that we learn not to loose them. What enables people to come to Christ at all? John 6 v 44 Jesus said: No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws them, and I will raise them up at the last day. What kind of freedom does the Spirit give us when we become Christians? We are free from sin, no more under the law we live by grace
  3. Why did Moses'face glow? Mosesface glow because of the glory of God. Why did he cover it when he was out with the people? Because it was fading. Why didn't more people's face glow in Moses'time? Because of their sins. They were under the law . What's the difference between the spread of God's glory in Moses'time when compared to our own time? In Moses time God spoke to His people through prophets but now we have our mediator our Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit interceeding for us.
  4. Q4. (2 Corinthians 3:18) Why is character change directly related to time deliberately spent in God's presence? Spending time with God it will definitly change you. You will be whole again. What is the theological word for the process of maturing in Christ? Transformation Have you noticed a change in the "degree of glory" you're experiencing now compared to a few years ago? Why or why not? Yes: I have been living in sin , I did'nt want to grow holding on the things of this world.Right now i am trusting God
  5. Q3. (2 Corinthians 3:18) Moses glowed by spending time with God on Mt. Sinai, in his tent of meeting, and in the Tabernacle. How can we get a similar glow of the Spirit in our lives? We can get a similar glow of Moses of the Spirit in our lives by spending time communing with God spending time in His word . In what way is meditating on Scripture beholding God? By meditating praying asking for deep understanding, surrendering all to God Is the low plane of Christianity in our day related to the time we spend in communion with the Lord? Yes What is God leading you to do to increase your glow? John 8 v 31:So Jesus said to those Jews who believed in him, "If you live by what I say, you are truly my disciples. We need to continue in His word.
  6. Q3. (2 Corinthians 3:4-6) What is the balance between the need for training in ministry (either in the local church or in schools) and personal submission to the Spirit of God? Training in the ministry help in learning the scriptures. but most important is to submit to the Holy Spirit for deep understanding, for interpreting the scripture and for you to share the word with others remember we are to be led and not to depend on our own understanding Are you able to “listen to the Spirit’s voice” in your own life? Absolutely!! Psalm 32 v 8 We are to be led by the Spirit of Living God Why would this ability be so important in being a competent minister? Leader must live a godly life he is the ambassador of Christ he has to win souls for Christ.
  7. Q2. (2 Corinthians 3:2-3) In what sense are we “living letters”? We are Christ ambassadors we are to present Christ every where. In what way can people “read us”? From our fruits. We shall know them by their fruits. Why is it so important to be authentic, not phony, in our lives? 1 Peter 3v1 Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives. even for those around us they might be won to Christ because of our behavior. What happens when people “read” something in you that they admire and mention it to you? Feel happy and say thank you. How might you respond appropriately? That's where i need a prayers, i become proud
  8. Q1. (2 Corinthians 2:14-16a) In what sense is knowing God fragrant to people who are open to God? We shall know them by their fruits. By showing love, by sharing the word of God together . In what way is this fragrance repugnant to people who are closed to God? Our Lord He was rejected by men, even today people they dont want to listen to the word of God, they are turning away from you Have you suppressed your “fragrance” because some people are allergic to Christian perfume? Yes, If so, how can you regain the fragrance of Christ’s gospel? By repenting. Asking for the forgiveness.
  9. (2 Corinthians 2:10-11) How does Satan take advantage of our unforgiveness? Satan he is our enemy he's alway want to have us, to have us on his site, to sift us like wheat, always looking for something he can accuse us about, with unforgiving heart it will work in his advantage. What are the symptoms in our own heart of unforgiveness? Hatred, Anger, jelousy you name them. According to Matthew 6:14-15, how does holding unforgiveness hurt our spiritual lives? You will be out of the presence of God completely. What would you have to do to really let go of your resentment and give it to God The best you can do is to: go back to those people you have sinned againts apologise, ask for the forgiveness. And give it to God in prayer. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins. Amen ,
  10. Q3. (2 Corinthians 2:9) How does obedience to servant leaders help the church of Jesus Christ? Our leaders have so much on their plate, if we are obidient enough we will be unburdening them from every situation everyone is facing. How does obedience to self-serving leaders hurt the church? Ezekiel 34 v 1 it says: How horrible it will be for the shepherds of Israel who have been taking care of only themselves. Shouldn’t shepherds take care of the sheep? v5 - 6So they were scattered because there was no shepherd. When they were scattered, they became food for every wild animal. The church will not survive it will split. Are you obedient to those whom God has placed over you in the Lord? Why or why not? Honestly i am too judgemental, right now within a year i am in a third ministry. May God help me to be obedient to my leaders What is the relationship between obedience and church unity? Obedience is good, but (only) if it is done for God's sake, Our Lord Jesus he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death on a cross.
  11. The presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives signify that we are one in Christ. How does the Spirit unite us with God? He bring grace into our lives in such a way that we could meet God's standard over a matter. He helps us to fulfil the will of God. What is the promise of future blessing inherent in the Spirit’s presence? The Holy Spirit he will guide us in all truth
  12. We should learn to pray for each other because we all facing different challenges in this life. Our Lord Jesus Christ pray for Simon Peter in Luke 22 v 31 -32 so that his faith may never fail and when he turn back he may strengthen his brother, praying for each other is very important . God will continue to deliver us.
