The sinless Lamb of God took our sins upon Himself, poured out His blood in our place, died and rose again from the grave victorious over sin, death, hell, and the grave. He was willing to die so that all who will receive Him as personal Savior may go to Heaven. That makes Him worthy to open the scroll in Heaven.

What has the Lamb done to "triumph" (5:5) and so become worthy to take the scroll and open its seals? (Hint: See the "for" or "because" clause in 5:9 for the answer.)

The Lamb has purchased men for God with His own blood. He was slain and He now stands, resurrected.

Praise be to the Lord.

By living a perfect life of obedience to God; dying on the cross for the sins of the world, and rising from the dead to show his power and authority over evil and death.

Q3. (Revelation 5:5) What has the Lamb done to "triumph" and so become worthy to take the scroll and open its seals? (Hint: See the "for" or "because" clause in 5:9 for the answer.)

The Lamb has "triumph" and so become worthy to take the scroll and open its seals because it was the Lamb who "... wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;" Revelation 5:9 (KJV)

The Lamb was worthy to take the scroll and open the seals because He obeyed the Father and gave Himself/poured Himself out and was slain. By His blood, the Lamb purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.

The Lamb, the Son of Judah, the root of David, was the only one worthy to open or examine the scrolls. He triumphed because He was slain and with His blood He purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue, people and nation. He made them a kingdom and priests for God and they will reign on earth. He was slain to receive power and riches, wisdom and strength, honor and glory and blessing for ever and ever.

Q3. (Revelation 5:5) What has the Lamb done to "triumph" and so become worthy to take the scroll and open its seals?

The Lamb is worthy to take the scroll because He overcame the world, He bruised the serpents head, He took dominion back for mankind, He took away the sins of the world, He has reconciled the believers to God, He was given all power and authority, He is exalted above every name, He is the Mediator of the redeemed to God, only He is worthy to take the scroll, for He triumphed over death and hell by His precious blood sacrificed, the blood of the spotless, innocent Lamb,

The Lamb of God was slain, and is now alive. His blood has redeemed people from every tribe, tongue and nation, to serve God. He makes us a kingdom and a priesthood to God.

He is worthy to take the scroll because of His sacrificial death and the shedding of His blood for our ransom.

The lamb has carried out the will of God the Father and overcame death and sin. Jesus Christ is the Lamb who is spotless, sinless, and blameless. Jesus, the Lamb, is only worthy.

Q3. (Revelation 5:5) What has the Lamb done to "triumph" and so become worthy to take the scroll and open its seals? (Hint: See the "for" or "because" clause in 5:9 for the answer.)

The first man, Adam, created in God's image, succumbed to the temptation of Satan and fell into sin. The second Man, Jesus, who was perfect and sinless, sacrificed Himself on the cross of Calvary to purchase men/women with His blood unto God from every tribe, language, people and nations, from their fallen state. His triumph gave Him the authority to open the scroll with its' seven seals, because He has the power to execute what is written there.

The Lamb willingly gave himself as a sacrificial Lamb as a ransom for the redemption of the sin of the whole world. He is the only worthy to take the scroll and open its seals.
