The earth was changed by Adam's fall. It's still a beautiful place to us, but also a hard place. Creation has been frustrated, or had its purpose altered, by God's curse on man that directly affected it. Plants can't grow as He originally intended. Animals don't relate the way He originally intended. Earth's climate was changed. Storms, floods, fires, and earthquakes batter it. Humanity's selfish use of the earth has often depleted it. Yes, creation suffers and longs to be set free from its bondage to decay and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God (vs.21)!
The signal that the end of this cursed condition is beginning will be this revealing of God's adopted children. Romans 8:23 identifies this as the time when our bodies are redeemed from the natural state. And the redemption of our bodies will occur when Christ resurrects His own who sleep and calls His church out of this world. 1 Corinthians 15:52-53 says that we shall all be changed from mortality to immortality, those who have died and those who still are living. We have everything to look forward to because of this hope. We have an inheritance of future glory as joint heirs with Christ to all that God has promised!

We suffer for Christ when we represent Him.
All creation is suffering because sin is rampant.
One day all creation, like our bodies, will be liberated from that downward spiral. The return of the Messiah will signal that liberation.
Yes! We have the hope of His return & the preparation beforehand. We also have this time to see that as many as possible can be saved!! As the coming of a marriage date & the anticipation that follows brings joy, so ought our looking forward to His soon return!!

He was despised and rejected by men. He was spat upon, cursed, rejected, beaten, bled and died. He carried the sin of the world on his shoulders when he went to the cross.
Why do we suffer?
We suffer because we are his children and live in a sin cursed world.
Why does all creation seem to be suffering?
Creation suffers because it bear the marks of what man’s sin has done and is doing to God’s perfect creation.
What will signal the end of that downward cycle of suffering, decay, and death?
When the trumpet of the Lord sounds, and our precious Lord and Messiah returns to earth to take home his bride.
Is there anything good to look forward to in this present life?
The psalmist said “the heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.” I think that is good. But what I have to look forward to in this present life is the fact that this old world is not my home, I’m just a passing through. There awaits for me a new heaven, a new earth, where old things has passed away and all things have become new.

The sufferings of the saints strike no deeper than the things of time, last no longer than the present time, are light afflictions, and but for a moment. How vastly different are the sentence of the word and the sentiment of the world, concerning the sufferings of this present time! Indeed the whole creation seems to wait with earnest expectation for the period when the children of God shall be manifested in the glory prepared for them. There is an impurity, deformity, and infirmity, which has come upon the creature by the fall of man. There is an enmity of one creature to another. And they are used, or abused rather, by men as instruments of sin. Yet this deplorable state of the creation is in hope. God will deliver it from thus being held in bondage to man's depravity. The miseries of the human race, through their own and each other's wickedness, declare that the world is not always to continue as it is. Our having received the first-fruits of the Spirit, quickens our desires, encourages our hopes, and raises our expectations. Sin has been, and is, the guilty cause of all the suffering that exists in the creation of God. It has brought on the woes of earth; it has kindled the flames of hell. As to man, not a tear has been shed, not a groan has been uttered, not a pang has been felt, in body or mind, that has not come from sin. This is not all; sin is to be looked at as it affects the glory of God. Of this how fearfully regardless are the bulk of mankind! Believers have been brought into a state of safety; but their comfort consists rather in hope than in enjoyment. From this hope they cannot be turned by the vain expectation of finding satisfaction in the things of time and sense. We need patience, our way is rough and long; but He that shall come, will come, though he seems to tarry.

We suffer in different ways but nonetheless we suffer. In America we suffer as we see divisions in the church, as we see evil grow in our country, as we grow spiritually and see sin within ourselves or our loved ones. We suffer for our brothers and sisters around the world who are being persecuted, murdered, tortured and imprisoned for our Lord's sake. We suffer for the environmental disaster that we are witnessing over all of the earth. We suffer for the needless waste of humanity from wars, famine and greed.
The redemption of our bodies which completes our adoption as the sons and daughters of God will end the corruption and decay that we now experience, an event that all of creation will see. This is the hope by which we live.

Isaiah 53 He was despised and rejected by men...
Jesus understands our sufferings because he endured it all himself – and much more; but I don't know that we could ever comprehend what he endured.
Then, because so many people were coming and going that they did not even have a chance to eat, he said to them, "Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." (Mark 6:31)These verses illustrate just a few of the sufferings of Jesus' life, and were probably among the least of what he endured.
"Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head." (Matthew 8:20)
God's people, including the religious leaders, did more than turn the Father's house into a den of thieves; they also misunderstood or perverted much of what God had revealed to His people. I think being surrounded by unbelief and misunderstanding of God was probably much worse for Jesus.
"O unbelieving and perverse generation … how long shall I stay with you and put up with you?"Jesus performed countless miracles but still faced unbelief, taught in the synagogues but was frequently misunderstood and often rejected – even in his hometown, even by his own family. Every single one of his closest followers deserted him, not to mention the one who betrayed him.
(Luke 9:41)
Then all the disciples deserted him and fled. Matthew 26:56bJesus received more compassion from a pagan governor than he did from his own people and the Sanhedrin. How could we ever understand what it was like for Jesus to be taunted and mocked in his last hours, when he held the option to be gloriously rescued by twelve legions of angels?
"He saved others," they said, "but he can't save himself! He's the King of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, 'I am the Son of God.'" Matthew 27:42-43Yet I believe the ultimate suffering was not the complete rejection by his generation, the desertion of his closest friends, or the excruciating agony endured at the hands of the Romans. I believe it was the separation and rejection from God the terrifying moment Jesus Messiah took on the sins of the world:
Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

Why do we suffer? We suffer because we are human and bad things happen to us, sometimes by our own hand, sometimes not. If we are unkind to others, others will be unkind to us. We often don't remember being unkind to others, but sure remember when others are unkind to us. If a hurricane or earthquake destroys our possessions and injures ourselves and our families, this is not from our own hand. This is from being part of this world which is still changing and growing, we are experiencing its growing pains.
Why does all creation seem to be suffering? All creation seems to be suffering from our own eyes, but it may not be as bad as we see. It often takes an alcoholic to lose everything before he'll start finding releif. We don't see his fall from a position of importance, his family, his wealth, we see how he is at this time.
What will signal the end of that downward cycle of suffering, decay, and death? The return of Jesus Christ to this earth. When he returns, we will all become perfect, all our suffering will be gone.

There is a definate downward spiral that can occur as we allow sin to wear us down. Only the grace of God can restore us. Not all suffering is from sin. Some is just planned by God to refine us like silver.
Psalm 66:10 For you, O God, tested us; you refined us like silver.
Isa. 48:10 See, I have refined you, though not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.
Isaiah 48:9-11 (in Context) Isaiah 48 (Whole Chapter)
Nothing tbat happens to us has come by chance or accident. Our loving Father holds us close to HIM even when we are suffering, as natural consequences or to test and strengthen us.
Our hope and assuance is in the fact that only what he allows to filter through HIS fingers has reached us. All is to bring glory and honor to HIM. We are victorious over sin and suffering because we are covered by the the blood of Jesus and we have the Holy Spirit leading us. We have access to the Father to be in deep relationship- what joy! blessed with his strength and wisdom. He loves us so much, he sacrificed his son for us.
I have learned these things through suffering loss, upon loss, upon loss. I still praise God in my storms.
With a thankful heart, accepting HIS grace, I can stand firm in shoes of peace,
Prayer Driven, Jaclyn

Jesus life on earth was one of suffering: isolation, rejection by the very people He came to save, misunderstood, beaten, crucified, forsaken by His Father when He was covered with the sins of the entire world, separation for the first time ever from His Father, shame, disgrace, mocking, His beard torn out, spit upon, hung naked in front of His Mother and all who passed by, temptation to bypass the cross, to commit suicide by jumping from the temple mount. He was homeless, possessed nothing but the clothes He wore.
Why do we suffer?
Sometimes because of our own sin, or from the sin of others. Sometimes persecution because we belong to Him. Sometimes discipline is necessary to conform us into His image, trials test our faith. We live in a sinful and fallen world. We have an enemy who hates us and tries to torment us.
Why does all creation seem to be suffering?
Creation was perfect until the fall of Adam and Eve, when corruption and decay entered and the ground was cursed because of the fall. Pain in Childbirth was a result of the fall. Death was also a result. Illness and evil as well. Satan is a destroyer and came to kill, and steal too.
What will signal the end of that downward cycle of suffering, decay, and death?
When the Bride of Christ is caught up in the air and the dead in Christ rise.
Is there anything good to look forward to in this present life?
Yes, a lot! The growing relationship with our Lord. The bliss of marriage. The birth or adoption of children. Rewarding friendships. The beauty of His creation. The joy of worship and fellowship with the saints. I love when He speaks to me, comforts me, reassures me, shows me His sense of humor, delights me with something...like a newborn foal just standing for the first time, or a breathtaking sunset..The smell of the ocean and roar of the waves. Seeing the leaves turn color. The first rose in bloom in the spring. A delicious dinner someone else prepared. I love knowing Him, and yet knowing it will only get better and better....and one day I'll see Him face to face!

In what ways was suffering Jesus' lot in life?
Havoc has been caused by the entrance of sin and the blight of death is on every living thing. There is total decay everywhere. The only hope of a return to the idyllic state is through our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus suffered for us. Only the death of Jesus, on the Cross, could break the bondage to sin.
Why do we suffer?
We are all co-sufferers and we are all glorified with Jesus Christ. Some of us will suffer more than others in the cause of Christ resulting in differing degrees of reward and glory. We suffer so that we can grow spiritually. If we focus on the glory that is to be ours, then we would count the sufferings along the way as trivial!
Why does all creation seem to be suffering?
Because of the curse of sin we live in a sighing, sobbing and suffering world.
What will signal the end of that downward cycle of suffering, decay, and death?
The return of Jesus will break the earth’s downward cycle of decay and commence the birth of a new era.
Is there anything good to look forward to in this present life?
Yes, it is a time of sanctification, a time of growing. With the help of the Spirit we are doing our best to be more like our Saviour, our Lord Jesus.

The first thing I would say that caused Jesus to suffer was His compassion for His people, He suffered from seeing the way sin made all people suffer. He suffered in the same ways that people suffer today being poor and having no place to lay their head as Jesus said. Creation is suffering because of the same sin that cause us to suffer, it is from people causing polution and waste to cover our planet. We are not being good servants or caretakers of what God has given us to take care of,we let our pride get in our way that leads to sin and our natural resources pay the price for it.Jesus return will end the cycle of sin and its control over the world and our lives. His return will bring about death to us and to all of creation and a renewal of the way things are when God walked in the garden with Adam and Eve. There is a lot to look foward to Christ's return will mean that we are united with Him for ever and everything that are His will become ours and we recieve the righteousness that God promised and become heirs in Christ.

Jesus' suffering was to take our sins so we would not have to pay the price. He paid the price on calvary. That is why He was sent, for the atonement of our sins. We suffer because He suffered. Our suffering is the consequence of our sonship to God, our identification with Christ, our witness for Him, and our refusal to become like the world. All creation is suffering because of human sin. I think the downward cycle of suffering is when we see the riches that is ours in Christ and the glory that will be revealed. Yes, there is redemption from this world, and our full inheritance That God promised.

Suffering Jesus lot in life . Jesus suffered for all creation, not just mankind , but everything that is upon the earth, God's entire creation.
We suffer because of the fall of Adam, Because of Adam sin , the fall of man occured for all of creation, all became subject to corruption, frustration and decay as well as death. Yes we look forward to our waiting eager expection for the Son Of God to be revealed unto us and we will not have to experence death, pain, suffering no more, no more tears and no more sorrow what a rejoicing time this will be praise The Lord.

We suffer because we live in a fallen world as a result of the sin of our great ancestors- Adam and Eve. God cursed the earth and proclaimed suffering and pain on the earth. Onother reason for our suffering: It is for us to share in the suffering of the Lord Jesus Christ that we may develop our faith and hope for the coming glory which is far greater than the present sufferings.
All suffering will end when the Lord Jesus returns to take us to our home of glory.

JESUS CHRIST CAME TO THIS EARTH AS A SACRIFICIAL LAMB FOR THIS WORLD TO GIVES US SALVATION FULL AND FREE. HE CAME AND WAS REJECTED BY HIS OWN PEOPLE. HE WAS BEATEN BY THE ROMANS, THE VERY OWN RELIGIOUS PEOPLE HANDED HIM OVER TO THE ROMANS. HE WAS CRUCIFIED ON A CROSS. I COULD GO ON.
WE SUFFER BECAUSE WE ARE PART OF GOD GREAT PLAN, JUST AS CHRIST SUFFERED WE OUGHT TO SUFFER TOO, HE SAID THAT WE WILL BE PERSECUTED FOR HIS NAME SAKE, ONCE WE DECIDE TO FOLLOW JESUS THEN WE HAVE TO SUFFER AS WELL, BUT HE PROMISE NEVER TO LEAVE US OR FORSAKE US. THE LIFE OF JESUS MUST BE REVEALED IN OUR BODY.
ALL CREATION SEEMS TO BE SUFFERING BECAUSE ITS NATURAL,THE PERFECT WORLD HAT GOD HAD CREATED FELL AND CHANGED WHEN ADAM AND EVE SINNED. NOT ONLY DID ADAM BECAME SUBJECT TO DEATH BUT THE EARTH WAS CURSE, BECAUSE OF HIM.
IT WILL TAKE THE COMING OF THE LORD GOD TO BREAK THE EARTH BONDAGE TO DECAY, GRADUAL RUIN AND GENERAL DECLINE.
WE ARE WAITING TO BE DELIVER BY THE BIRTH OF A NEW ERA. THE RETURN OF GOD ALMIGHTY AND HIS SON JESUS CHRIST.

Jesus suffered leaving the perfect fellowship of the Trinity and entering this dark world of sin.
He suffered as a human with temptations (Luke 4:2), weariness from sinful people and the depravity of the human heart
(Luke 20:23 But He perceived their craftiness). He suffered rejection from those He created (Luke 23:21). He experienced the greed and corruption of His perfect creation(Luke 20:46). He grieved (Matthew 23:37).
He suffered the loss of people and he wept (John11:33). He suffered betrayal by a friend with a kiss (Luke 22:48. He experienced and saw the hatred we have towards each other (John15:17-20). We could go on for a long time describing the suffering of Christ in living and then comes the crucifiction. Once again rejection, hate, jeering, laughing, cruelty, pain, lonliness and separation from the Father. He suffered this for His Father's glory and we are the beneficiaries if you will of His sufferings.
Matthew Henry says "Sin is a burden to the whole creation. There is a general outcry against the sin of man." Man's sin is the cause of the suffering of the world.
In this life we look forward to being with our Lord. He is our hope. We love the Word and the fellowship of kindred minds in the Lord.
God Bless!
