To share the light so others can see. We must tell everyone about the " light" of Jesus Christ and how He lights our paths. About how He gives light to a dying world and brings salvation and eternal life with a promise of Heaven. Sure, we will be persecuted but Jesus suffered much more than we ever will.

Turning to the world for answers & compromising their beliefs and doing worldly things and believing it to be okay. Making excuses for doing worldly things. You can not be a part time Christian & only when you want to be. We must state our values and live likewise, forget what the world says and live our lives according to Scripture & be consistent.

Q6. Blessed Are the Persecuted
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Paradoxical People: the Beatitudes (5:1-13)
This means we have been seen as righteous and have done what is right and are making a difference in this gone wild world. By being "under the BLOOD" we are showing the world our LORD and Savior. Suffering persecution is being rewarded by rewards in Heaven. All who want to live for Christ will be persecuted. If we endure and not compromise, then we acquire the kingdom and all Heaven's Rewards.. -
Q5. Blessed Are the Pure in Heart
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Paradoxical People: the Beatitudes (5:1-13)
They have been delivered...They show mercy and do not judge others. When we act like God, we receive His Blessings. When we are aware of our own needs, then we can help others. By not compromising and not being wishy-washy in our faith and doing only as Jesus did. We must repent and ask forgiveness of God and have Him cleanse us. We must have the same attitude of heart as God. -
You are not doing as they are and want to do things that keep you right with God. You are more spiritual than the world by desiring The Holy Spirit to work in your life and to fellowship with you. Godly living is a requirement for righteousness. We are told( promised) that when we hunger and thirst for it, The Holy Spirit will work a convicting work and keep us close to God. If we hunger and thirst for righteousness and things of God, all worldly desires and pleasures will be replaced, keeping us spiritually sound.

Q3. Blessed Are the Meek
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Paradoxical People: the Beatitudes (5:1-13)
The world looks for bigger things.More is never enough, always needing more than someone else.Sometimes we think we are invincible and in control of everything until God comes in and shows us a better more efficient way of life. When we practice being righteous all things fall into place and we stand in awe as to why all things work out for good. Humility is LOVE. When we humble ourselves we go to the lowest and that is in actuality the tops. We are doing what Christ would've done. -
Q2. Blessed Are the Poor in Spirit
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Paradoxical People: the Beatitudes (5:1-13)
You must recognize that you need Christ and a better way of life that we can not do within ourselves and on our own.We need the Holy Spirit's life, power and grace to inherit God's kingdom. We mourn over things that grieve God and are afflicted in our spirits over sin we have committed or see. we will grieve just as the Lord does.... When we grieve over sin and immorality, it evidence of true saving faith showing that we belong to the Lord. -
Q1. Beatitudes and Spiritual Fruit
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Paradoxical People: the Beatitudes (5:1-13)
The two parts are: Blessing and what we need to do to receive that blessing. ( God's principles of righteousness and how to obtain that righteousness). To let us know how to live to please Him and how to enter the kingdom of God. The Fruit of the Spirit is also a way of life. It is a single minded way of life and walking in fellowship with God. -
Q2. Humble Worship
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 4. Wise Men and the Christmas Star of Bethlehem (Matthew 2:1-12)
That King Herod had not had Him killed and that He was the King of all..Jesus is worthy of royal honor from all humanity as all are included in God's redemptive plan. We can bow down and worship our Lord and yes, prostrate ourselves on the floor and lay everything in this life aside and yield all to Jesus. He is the answer to EVERYTHING. Pray it through. -
Q4. The Angels' Titles for Jesus
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. The Shepherds' Sign of the Manger (Luke 2:1-20)
Savior----- deliverer from evil Christ the Lord----annointed of God Messiah----the exalted one ( Yahweh) Hebrew HE IS GOD... -
Q3. A Manger for His Bed
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. The Shepherds' Sign of the Manger (Luke 2:1-20)
Perhaps they were in most need of a Savior,as they only dealt with the dumbest of animals.Maybe as a warning that some of his sheep were to be a sacrifice. Jesus came to serve, so He was placed in the lowest of places. I believe that God wants us to see that no matter how lowly the background we are from we can still be GREAT in stature. Nothing is impossible through Him that strengthens us!!!!! -
Q3. Christmas Hardships
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. The Shepherds' Sign of the Manger (Luke 2:1-20)
Leaving family and not knowing what lies ahead is in itself scary for a teenager, but going to unknown territory. And being pregnant and riding on a donkey----- she must have been jostled about going over rough terrain. Pleasure is no indication that you are in God's will because Satan can cause to have fun and enjoy things outside the will of God. Satan will cloud your thinking, put a film over your eyes so you will think and do what he wants you to do. Being a consistent Christian-- you go through more tests and trials and by doing so --you have a testimony. By just going with the flow --you do what pleases the flesh and not always God's will for your life. By being a consistent Christian you always do God's will and don't let Satan detour you from what is right. -
Q1. Naming the Current Rulers
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 3. The Shepherds' Sign of the Manger (Luke 2:1-20)
To let people know the time in history that Jesus was born. To verify that a census was taken. -
Q5. Naming the Child
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Joseph, the Stand-In Father (Matthew 1:18-25)
That he is of noble character. That he is forgiving and a godly man. God knew from the beginning that he was righteous, honorable and full of God's grace and that he would do what was right, that is why the angel was sent in the dream. When Joseph named Him Jesus, it automatically put him in the lineage of David. -
Q4. The Prophecy of Immanuel
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Joseph, the Stand-In Father (Matthew 1:18-25)
Through prophesy. Isaiah tells King Ahaz that he should stand in faith because a virgin will conceive and bear a child to be called Immanuel, meaning that "God is with us in times of trouble". Prophetic words in Isaiah fulfilled in Matthew with the Birth of Christ. Yahweh saves, Immanuel makes one complete. JESUS ------- the author and finisher of life. -
3. The Name Jesus
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Joseph, the Stand-In Father (Matthew 1:18-25)
It is that " He Saves". Jesus was born to die. His mission was to save HIS people from sin. So they both would have the word from the lips of God Himself, also to erase any doubt that Joseph might have had of an adulteress affair. To affirm that it was from The Holy Spirit. With Joseph accepting this, he is acknowledging ancestral evidence into it. By naming Him meant that he adopted Him and that He was his own son and legal father. -
Q2. The Character of Joseph
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Joseph, the Stand-In Father (Matthew 1:18-25)
To walk upright and not let the words of the people bother her. She and God knew who the father was. She could go into seclusion, and pray that God would sustain her,as she was only thinking of being a willing obedient servant at the time. Joseph showed how much he cared for her by not wanting to exposing her to more ridicule. He wanted to do all this quietly, but God had other plans. Joseph was a righteous man, full of humility and a gentle loving man. -
Q1. Son of a Carpenter
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 2. Joseph, the Stand-In Father (Matthew 1:18-25)
He would have learned the business of carpentry, building,etc.. He also learned the traits of his father. He would've learned how to wheel and deal in the business, how to set boundries and the price scale of the carpentry business. He got to see how his father handled all concepts of the business for his own later use in the wood working business. -
Q5. Titles of St. Mary
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Mary, The Virgin Mother (Luke 1:26-45)
She was a Virgin and was Blessed. She was chosen by God to be Jesus' Mother. We hesitate to call her blessed among women because we fear of what others will say. God knew her heart and she was honored to be a servant of Our Lord and to be used in such a way. She is the MOST Blessed among women to be the MOTHER of OUR LORD!!!!! -
Q4. Mary's Response to the Angel
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Mary, The Virgin Mother (Luke 1:26-45)
That SHE was sold out to God and trusted Him to do as He said. We can do the same as Mary and do whatever the Holy Spirit speaks into our hearts. Mary was God's servant and that is why she was chosen, as He knew her heart, to be the Mother Of Our Lord and Savior Jesus The Christ. We consent to His Lordship and let Him work in us not us in the world. -
Q3. The Virgin Conception
June replied to Pastor Ralph's topic in 1. Mary, The Virgin Mother (Luke 1:26-45)
That ALL things are possible through HIM.(JESUS). That if you trust in God, He will guide you through whatever , so long as you have the FAITH to believe and give all of yourself to Him.
