  1. Our sin is greater than the sacrifice of the animal. The sacrifice needs to be greater than the sin. Since Christ died once for all, it is covered by His Blood. Through the sacrifice that Jesus made, ALL sin has been atoned for.
  2. Christ's first coming was as a sacrifice and the Second Coming is for the completion of our salvation. To take us on home to be with Himself forever. The Jews just expected Christ to come back and continue to live along with them. The Messiah endured punishment in order that we may be delivered from diseases & sickness as well as our sins. He was bruised and pierced all because of His Great Love for me & you.
  3. Jesus goes to the Father for us as our Mediator. As our go-between. He was our ransom. We were released from bondage because He paid the price. Through Him and The Holy Spirit we are redeemed. Jesus paid the ultimate price for our freedom.
  4. Because Christ was without sin He offered Himself, His blood is what cleanses and convinces our consciences that we are forgiven. He is our blood sacrifice so we can approach God and be accepted before Him, when we repent.
  5. Redemption means that we have been set free from sin by the blood that Jesus shed for us. We were redeemed from the slavery to sin and the death sentence that hung in balance. Christ died for me. Redemption is forever and ever.
  6. They are for the external body and flesh. They were only a matter of food & drink and various ceremonial washings. We need death of a sacrifice to atone for sin. A willing heart to repent and accept forgiveness. To boast what God has done for us and the strength He has given us. We can do nothing on our own.. Give all praise and honor to God because He is Worthy!!!
  7. No it blasphemed the Lord. Yes, Jesus died for all sin. We receive forgiveness through faith. It is by God's grace that we receive not by works. To humble ourselves and repent and ask for forgiveness
  8. The Old Covenant failed because of lack of obedience. To forgive those that are repentant and make them children of God, giving them a new heart and a greater experience with the Holy Spirit. To give access to God and to impart the Lord's presence to believers through the Holy Spirit. Everyone that believes in Christ will have direct access to God and have forgiveness of sins.
  9. Jesus promised us blessings for keeping the covenant . He is our way to the Father. We have to go through Him and the Holy Spirit to get to Father God. He shed His blood ONCE for ALL. Jesus is a righteous person that sacrificed Himself rather than the involuntary sacrifice of animals for blood.
  10. As a High Priest that is holy, blameless, pure, sinless and set apart, exalted above the heavens. Jesus does not need to offer sacrifices daily. He sacrificed Himself ONCE FOR ALL. I know that Jesus is interceding on my behalf, and that He died so I could have ETERNAL SALVATION.
  11. Permanency----- Foreverness Because Jesus lives forever and is our High Priest. He is able to save those who believe in Him and takes us to the Father, He intercedes for us. The priest is the Mediator to God the Father. Jesus is always talking to God on our behalf because He is sitting at His right hand.
  12. It is a promise to fulfill an obligation. To be answerable for the situation which one guarantees. Jesus will usher in the New Heaven & New Earth as He has promised when He returns.
  13. We have taken hold of the hope given us that we can enter the inner sanctuary, where Jesus went on our behalf and became our High Priest. He is refuge and anchor for our soul. We are to rely on the strength and power of God. He is our HOPE. The possibility of something being true is not true hope. True hope is knowing that MY ANCHOR HOLDS in any storm. The anchor is formed at the top like a cross. All hope is in the Cross and what Jesus has done for us.
  14. We will be doing more of the Father's work as He has instructed us. More emphasis on His Will and less on our wants and we'll receive what He has promised. We can concentrate on God's promises rather than what we are going through. Ask God to show us ways to express His love & grace to others. Go for the inheritance that was promised. Be diligent until the end. Press on and don't take salvation for granted.
  15. Apostasy is failure to keep our commitments to God and to fall away from His Word. They are crucifying Christ all over again and submitting Him to public disgrace. It is impossible for them to truly repent. That seeds need fertile soil for them to grow. The Word also needs a receptive heart to flourish. Need to be grounded in the Word and know that you know that you know. Like being a Christian and dabbling in things that are not of Christ but of the world. Allowing sin without repentance to abide.
  16. Many have experienced "miracles" and "powers" of Christ but don't think that Christ can use them to do the same for someone else. Some believe it only happened back then and have turned their backs on the One from all these things come from. We can all be used by Christ if we let the Holy Spirit work through us.
  17. Maturity comes from constant study and use of the Word. Application to daily living. Have a set time to study each day, preferably early, when the mind is fresh. Have a good reference book to study with, when you need understanding.
  18. He endured the sins of men. He suffered to the end. He overcame death, became perfect through obedience and became our source for eternal life. Praise God for Salvation!! So what is a little suffering compared to what Jesus went through for us so we could have eternal life?!
  19. Jesus had to suffer to be obedient to the Father. It was God's will that Jesus die on the cross and Jesus wanted what the Father wanted and was made perfect. He did not question the instructions of His Father. The consequence for being obedient was death, without sin, thus gaining favor in wisdom and stature with God as He set out to do in the beginning, without reservations. Just to obey! He wanted what God wanted and became like Him.
  20. Because that is where our help comes from. We will receive mercy and grace in our time of need. We all get mercy and grace but all will face judgement. We should not fear because He did not give us the spirit of fear.
  21. When Jesus became man in flesh, He was tempted. Humans are weak and try to discover things by putting them to the test. Sometimes we have to see first hand before we believe. Jesus already knew the outcome as He did not sin but was tried and tested on the cross. There is not one thing that tempts us that Jesus has not faced himself. He knows our weaknesses and temptations and gave us The Word to guide us. We just need to study and find our answers in it through prayer and the Holy Spirit.
  22. By confessing that Jesus is Lord and ruler of our lives we keep the faith, knowing that He is always with us. He has gone through all we will ever encounter and has the answer for how to work out our problems and to stay grounded. We will have eternal life if we don't waver. God the Father gave His only Son, Jesus Christ to die so I could live. He is Lord of my life. Knowing this keeps Faith alive in my life.
  23. That if we continue in the faith and keep Christs commandments we will enter Gods rest, our heavenly home. We need to labor for the Lord while waiting for His return. Apostasy is to continue sinning with no regret and not have any guilt of it. Hardening of the heart. We Christians fall into sin sometimes just by being caught off guard. If we are not prayed up with the full armor of God as our protection, our adversary will raise his face in something we may not even be aware of. It is so easy to ignore the signs until too late. Praise be to God and the Holy Spirit to call us out when we do sin. Thank You Lord for grace and new Mercies daily!!!
  24. We need to keep our faith with Christ so as not to fall away from our beliefs. Sin is deceitful and if continued will harden ones heart. We need fellowship to encourage each other and each others exhortations to live for Christ. We need to share our beliefs with fellow Christians and keep each other lifted up.
  25. We are where Christ dwells. Gods house. The temple in which Christ lives. We must guard our hearts so that no intruder can enter. We need to hold on to what we are taught and stand up for what is right in the eyes of Christ. (God)
