  1. This question is easily answered if asked as, what way is God not a rock? The answer to that is no way. He is the foundation on everything I believe. He is the rock of my strength. He is the rock of my life. He is the rock I come to when I do wrong. He is the rock of wisdom, when I think I
  2. In every way you can think of, God is our shield, our glory, and the lifter of our head. There is nothing we have to be proud of when think consider all we have done or will ever do in life. God has done it all through us. He guarded us through every step we took. Anything we have achieved it was through his might and power. Any glory we might think we deserve, it all due to Him. The sole ability to open our eye lids each day is due to our Lord and Savior. He is the one that washed our sins away. He is the one that gave us any success. It is all God. There is nothing we can boost about. All we can do is praise God; for He has been good to us.
  3. The protected one is trust in God. While trusting when you call on God, He will answer, He will deliver, He will honor. The metaphors used of God
  4. I have learned to take this personally. Yes Jesus is Lord of all things but when I say it, He is the Lord of my life. I am no longer plan my day without first getting hold of God and getting his ok on what I plan to do for each day. When I was the lord of my life I was going to eternal damnation. Now I

  6. God says He will never leave us or forsake us. This is good to know that our Lord is constantly there for us. At the same time, we need to realize we must make a determined decision to never leave God, by making choices in our lives that does not bring us closer to God; rather they pull us farther from Him. We need to be in communication with God on a daily basis; seeking His way through all that we go through. This is for our advantage. We will avoid many traps and pitfalls that the devil lays for us to be caught up in. When we do things our way, instead of seeking and asking God for His direction, we are saying to God, our way is better and we no longer need God; we become a god for ourselves.
  7. The people gave a tenth of what they earned to whom they served; at least that was what they were supposed to do. Under the new covenant, if you look at what people do you can tell who and what they serve. People each time they get paid, put aside money to play the lottery, go on vacation, fix up their car, their house, many different things. I
  8. Justice is giving what is deserved. Vengeance is giving the correct punishment for the crime. Mercy is overlooking what is deserved and showing compassion. A Righteous God must make sure every sin receives it just punishment or He is not Righteous. Being a God of justice, vengeance, mercy, and righteous, our God added up the cost of every person

  10. We need the Word to tell 1, to get saved, 2, to fellowship with our brothers and sisters, and 3, to know what God says. Fellowship alone will not do it. When Israel refused to go into the land of Canaan they were fellowshipping. The problem was what they were fellowshipping on wasn
  11. Faith is important because it keeps our focus on Jesus. The word says,
  12. It appears that we can turn away rather than go toward the rest that God has for his children. We must continue in our faith otherwise we can risk (not losing our faith as if we have to find where it went or where we placed it), giving it up and turning back to our former lives which Jesus has saved us from. Forsake your faith; forsake heaven, our place of rest.
  13. A: faint, fainteth B: weary C: strength If we do things ahead of God we will fail; but if we wait on God and go with God we will raise above all the problems in this world.

  15. He has complete control. He can do what He wants. We should let him do what He wants with us. Everything He makes he does good. He takes care of what He makes. We need to be proud what He does with us, knowing that we were dust before He did anything with us. We need to keep in mind that if we follow the Creator
  16. David fought the lion and the bear. He realized it was through the power of God; Yahweh. Now if God worked through David to kill a lion and a bear, and God is
  17. To inhabit eternity, I see it as never going to die. It is something far beyond man
  18. The main thing we must learn is to get over ourselves. We are not the main character of this life as if we were in a staged performance and without us there would be no performance. The Lord has top billing, given to Him by God the Father. Timidity and or brashness have no place in our lives because God is in control. We need to stand in His strength and might. It
  19. As long as the rod was lifted up, Israel defeated the Amalekites, when Moses lowered his hand that held the rod, Israel began to lose. The Lord must be lifted up in our battles. Getting tired, hungry, or thirsty all the natural things our bodies goes through, we must always have the Lord lifted up to show who we are fighting for and whose side we are on.
