  1. Repeated words: Faint, Weary, Strength, Hast thou not; shall, they, not. One thing that stands out in these verses is we don
  2. The Potter, Creator, or Maker has the right to create whatever he/she choices. He can give what is made the capabilities he wants it to have. He can make the item as large as he choices. After the making of the item, he will always own the acknowledgement of making the item; however the person who owns the item or the one who has the item in their possession choices how the item is used. The maker has no say in the matter after the item is made. We must understand whoever owns us or has possession of us has control of what we do. We have little say how our lives end if we make the wrong choice as to who owns us. The Bible says,
  3. Considering the initial state of the pot, that it was dirt, dust; it was walked on having little value to anyone. The pot has worth due to the work of the Potter. The pot needs to see that the Potter has done a tremendous thing to make the pot something useful and not try and tell the potter he/she needs to do things differently. Christians react the same way when we complain that we are not the way we wish we were; we should have been taller, thinner, prettier, or born into a different family; basically complaining about anything God has done or not done for us because we think we would be more effective. It is the same thing that Moses did when he saw the burning bush. He thought God picked the wrong type of guy for the job. The better attitude and behavior is to realize where God brought us from and understand where He is bringing us to, is so much farther then where we truly deserve to be. We need to praise Him for working in our lives rather than complain that He
  4. God is in the beginning; Gen: 1:1 and He is in the in ending of this world; Rev: 21: 1-6. He is all that man needs in between the beginning and the end. God breathed life into man and God dead on the cross for man so that nothing could ever stand in the way for man to be with God This is why John 19: 30 holds such a magnificent statement by Jesus,
  5. Revelation 22:13 and Isaiah 44:6 refer to God as being the first and the last. I take this to mean that God was there before everything or anyone else. His power is everlasting. He is a Mighty God. Nothing or no one will ever take that from Him. He can not be defeated. An interesting note is that God knew that Moses would stop and investigate why a burning bush was not consumed. If God did this to for Moses, He will do this for everybody so that we may get to know him. Each person has a

  7. My name is MarkH. I live in Arizona. I am a playwright. I am learning so much from this lesson. It is helping to go through many things in my personal lie and the time I spend in devotions. I am glad to be here to take this lesson.
  8. Elisha and his servant were both human; being human we all have emotions that get the better of us and we sometimes have closed eyes to what God is doing. The servant was afraid which caused him to not see that God was there in the mist of all that was going on. Even though this scripture doesn
  9. Sometime before Joshua meet the Commander, the Hebrews had left the bondage of Egypt as they were being pursue by the Egyptians, God told Moses, Stand and see the salvation of the Lord the Egyptians you see today you shall see no more forever. At first glance it seems that God is solely a God of the Hebrews and anti-Egyptians. But if you skip over to the New Testament and Jesus says, whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. People can get all hooked up into where they are born and who their ancestors are, and what blood line they come from. This doesn
  10. There are different angles to consider a Most High God. I
  11. Abraham and Melchizedek seemed to acknowledge there was more than one God. They, (the Gods) were referred to differently. At this point in Genesis, they praised the most high God who possessed Heaven and Earth. This God had the ability to help a follower defeat his enemies. This God was mightier than the other Gods. I take this to mean This God is stronger, smarter, and wealthier than the other Gods that Abraham and Melchizedek they may have worshipped
