  1. Through Adam sin came into the world. All people bear the guilt of sin because of Adam
  2. It was through the suffering, dying, and rising of Jesus that Christians now can have contact with God. Before Jesus
  3. Jesus took our place on the cross, taking the consequences our sins on to himself and died in our place. Without God
  4. It is in our nature to change our minds, to revert to the way we have done thing in the past. We must continue in our faith if we want to receive the eternal rest of God in his resting place. Hebrews says if we stop holding to Christ, we will die in desert just as the Israelites who Moses lead out of Egypt died.
  5. In order to save man from sin, Jesus had to go through suffering and death on his own. When Jesus does call the heavenly hosts, Satan is cast into the lake of fire. Jesus doesn
  6. When dealing with people on opposing sides, God can be for neither side. The Word of God says all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. If God were to side with one against another, He would also be siding with the sin that was done on the side He picked. Both sides need to come to realize that God will not pick our side; we need to pick to join God
  7. Separation from his father is a natural suffering I as a human would think of. Separation from his home in heaven. Jesus taking on the form of man went through the daily struggles of life knowing the experiences he once had as the son of God. He then suffered rejection of man, percussion, beatings, humiliation. All the while he could have call for the angels to help him, yet he chose to go through it so that we might be saved. Though he died for the world he understood that not all men would accept what he did for them. This is not an easy thing to know you are dying for some who will still reject all that you have given for them. We also want to be in Heaven with our Father and with our Savior, rather we are here on earth. Not doing what we may like to because we understand that it may not please God. If we express our belief in God, or explain how we are saved through the blood of Jesus we may be laugh at, fired from our jobs, rejected by or friends, family, or neighbors. Psalms 119: 67 tells how suffering teaches us to keep God
  8. Roman 10: 9-10 says if you confess with the mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in you heart that God has God has raised him from the dead you will be saved. This scripture alone is the biggest sign and wonder that has happened to me. Once I confessed that Jesus Christ was Lord of my life and I accepted him as my personal savior; he has moved and is moving in every aspect of my life. I am no longer the same person I was before. Sin no longer has control over me. Though I may commit sin, I can go to my father the Lord Jesus, and get right with God. My focus is no longer on what I have done, or what I need to do but rather on what God is and will do through my changed life. Knowing that God has done this for me, I can see that God has done this for those in the Bible. And if God can change my life and the lives of King David, Moses, Peter, and Paul, there is nobody on this earth whose life he cannot change. These are the greatest signs and wonders that can ever be preformed. Healing, the sick feeding the multitudes, raising the dead, are great signs and wonders that Jesus did but there
  9. Being multi-dimensional, we have many things going on at the same time within ourselves and around us. We have to make sure that we put God as the main source of our existence. We have need for food, a home, clothes, acceptance from others. If we put any of these things before our need for God, (making our needs a god), we are in danger of missing the mark. God is our supplier of all our needs. He is our savior from sin. This is just the beginning. We cannot make it without God just because we accept Jesus as our savior. We must rely on God for every aspect of our lives. He is the one who made us. He is the one that will supply our every need. We need to put God first or risk losing it all.
  10. This verse tells much about the God I serve. God is holy. There is none of the games and deceit that we so often see in people. He lacks nothing. He is control of eternity. This means that when the doctors, lawyers, or judges tell you it over it is finished there is no way out of a situation. You just need to sit back and watch God perform. There is nothing that is over until God says it is over. He can and will change whatever man has deemed impossible to change. This brings to mind Ezekiel 37 dealing with the valley of dry bones. God asked Ezekiel can these bones live. Ezekiel answer was,
  11. After reading these two verses in the King James Version, The New King James Version, The New Jerusalem Bible, and the New International Version Bibles there is no doubt that Jesus is divine. In New Jerusalem Bible, Jesus is the reflection of God
  12. For Abraham and Melchizedek God is/was over all; he is in control of all. There is none that can match him in strength or power. God delivers the enemies of those who believe in him into their hands. God has possession of Heaven and Earth.
  13. This was to be taken as a biological relationship, but I believe it should be taken as more. In my way of thinking, a father has to be established before he can have a son. The way I see this father- son relationship here; when ever there was a God, the Son was there. In John 1:1 it says,
  14. I'm from Arizona. I took this lesson before but didn't finish. I'm hoping to finish this time. May God bless Pastor Ralph.
  15. Hi; This is the second lesson I am taking from this form. I want to learn more about the God I serve and want to know what he expects from me.
  16. Justice is something that nobody wants even though many people go to court saying they want justice when they feel they have been wronged. People are guilty of the sin which Adam committed in the Garden of Eden. Justice would mean death to death and separation from God who is holy. The sin of Adam changed the world that the holy God created, and said was good, into a world full of evil. It is no longer a place where God can come to and walk with man as he did before Adam
  17. We many times question why we are a particular place in life. We go to God and ask him to take us out of where we are at; not realizing God may have us there for a reason rather then for our comfort. He wants to work through us to help, bless, and speak to someone concerning what they are going through. We need to realize that there are many openings in life to affect society in a positive way. Many times we don
  18. Isaiah realized all he had done in his life, all he had said, did not make him worthy to be in the presence of God. Even the people around him were not worthy to be in God
  19. The Psalmist says to sing unto the Lord. Make a joyful noise to the Rock of our Salvation Come in His presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise with psalms because He is a great God, and a great King above all gods. He is our Creator. When we hear his voice we shouldn
