Josephine Koh Posted April 14, 2010 Report Share Posted April 14, 2010 Hi, My name is Josephine and I am from Singapore Sion Presbyterian Church/Orchard Road Presbyterian Church. I will be 26 this year. My fiance and I are planning to get married next year. I grew up in a God-fearing family and started going to sunday school when I was a toddler. However, I only begin to revisit my christian beliefs and values after my baptism 10 years ago. I am actively serving in the church choir as a choir member as well as a pianist. I have been reading and studying the various books of the Bible all these years but skipped the Book of Revelation because I found it extremely difficult to understand as well as frightening. One is married (I performed the ceremony last October) and I just found out that I am to be a grandpa about seven months from now. My other two children are engaged to be married, one in July (I hope to perform the ceremony), the other next year. I have been an accountant for 25+ years. I am quickly approaching the date that I will go on full time disability due to multiple sclerosis, but so far, I've been able to keep working, on a limited basis. I love the Lord (I've been a Christian 30+ years), and I love His Word. I have read the Bible every day for 30+ years, and can't get enough of it. I read this book in high school, and now I feel the urge to reread it in such a deeper way that I might full understand it. (ha if that is possible) but surely as much as God gives me clarity on. I also wanted something deeper to study on my own time and found the Revelations study. I'm from New Zealand and have just recently spent time with Palestinian Christians in the West Bank and so have witnessed the damage that has happened here. I’m Paul Irving and I live in Hillside, IL in the USA. I’ve been a Christian for most of my life but my faith is growing everyday. I work for Comcast as a collector of devices and get people to pay their bills. It’s alright for now, but I think God has more in store for me.
