Dear Friend,

Welcome to the online Bible study forum for Christmas Incarnation.

It's exciting to meet other people who are involved in this Bible study. Why don't you check in and share a bit about yourself, and what state and country you are from. Please do NOT include your e-mail address. Be discrete about sharing private things about yourself.

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Ralph

Hi I'm Rosemary and I live in Northern Virginia. This is the third Bible Study I've attended and I'm grateful for this opportunity. I was baptized as a youth but I believe Christ has been the Lord of my life for about 17 years.

My family and I recently set out from the church we attended for about 5 years. We are visiting many local churches here in Northern VA and it is quite an experience. We hope to hear the Lord instruct us to join a congregation soon. In the meantime, we're enjoying different worship styles and 'character' of local congregations. Thankfully, we're hearing the Gospel solidly preached in several of these local congregations. Although scary at first, this is a true blessing. I am eager to settle down and start serving in the next body of Christ to which this family is called.

It is good to be here for the Bible study forum for Christmas Incarnation. I am on the road now, no permanent address, raised in Florida, but have lived in many places: Israel, Hawaii, Alabama, Colorado...I am a 40 something single man.

I am looking forward to more with Pastor Ralph and becoming more "buried" in the word and doctrines of God. I am looking forward to hearing more about God becoming flesh and becoming a man in the form of Jesus Christ. The discussion of God in man and God as man is an exciting one.

Hello,

I am Lois from Northern Virginia and I have been married for 43 years and have 1 daughter and 1 grandchild. I have been studying with Pastor Ralph for about 6 months or more and have truly enjoyed each lesson. This is my first time being involved in an on-line Bible study and I have learned so much during this time. It is so good to be able to read the opinions of others. May God continue to bless you, Pastor Ralph, for your faithfulness.

Hello all,

My name is Kate and I live in Maryland. I am married with two boys, age 7 and 9. I plan on using parts or all of this study with my family (and completing the entire study myself). We will see how long the interest stays with my youngest.

This is my second online bible study with Joyful Heart technically, but I am only in my second week of the first study, so I am doing two studies at once.

I am working very hard to raise my children with the importance of giving and caring for others, and to keep away from the commercialism and depersonalization of what Christmas has become. I hope this study helps with that goal.

Kate

Hi Rosemary,

I was kind of inspired by your comments about visiting local churches and finding one that fits for you and your family. I am kind of new to my area and get flustered in finding the perfect church. You have opened my eyes to the fact that it's a spiritual journey to find the best place to worship.

Hello

My name is Christine Gould ( Tabatha ) I live in Grass Valley Ca. It is in the mountains. I enjoy these bible studies so much. I have learned things from the word I had forgotten. I do so appreciate Pastor Ralph. I get more from these studies than I do in the churches. I have been in the ministeries for 25 years and it seems the churches are going to kindergarten. I want so much of an intimate relation ship with the Almighty God. I hunger for His presence. Not a social club. Thank you Pastor Ralph God Bless.

Hi, my name is Fran and I live in East Texas. I am divorced, but we have stayed best friends, praise the Lord. I raised 5 children, one who went home to be with the Lord in 2002. I have 6 wonderful grandchildren, four boy's and two girls. Two of the boy's live overseas (right now in Turkey) and the other two live in Florida and then the two girls live in Texas, one I am raising. I can't remember a day when I wasn't a born again Christian. Without God I'd not even be able to get up out of bed let alone have any kind of life. I am excited about this bible study and can't wait to start. I am thank God everyday for allowing me to have found Pastor Ralph and his studies. they have helped me in more ways than one.

Good Morning. I am Cheryl, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This is my first study on this site, but I've done others. The internet is truly a blessing to those of us whho enjoy studying God's word. My husband and I have been married 21 years. This is my second marriage. Together we have four children and 8 grandchildren; 7 living. We lost a grandson to suicide this past summer. We greive and mourn our loss. I am looking forward to "chatting" with some of you. And preparing my heart for the celebration of our Lord's first advent.

Hi There, My name is Margaret and I am in Ashburton, New Zealand. I am looking forward to this study and putting a real Christ focus on Christmas (I always try to do so but this will make it so much better). I have almost completed the Psalms study here, and gotten heaps out of it.

I am married and have been for 9 years. We have two beautiful children - Jayden (3 years) and Gianna (almost 2 years). I love being a mum and where the Lord has led me in my life.

I pray that we are all blessed by taking time during the "silly season" to study the Word of God, and what it all means for us. God bless.
