Q2. What similarities do you find in the resurrection accounts?

The stone had been rolled away

The Tomb was empty

There was an Angel there telling them that Jesus had been raised.

The women were told to go and tell His Disciples.

Based on the agreements between the accounts, what seems to have happened?

Jesus died for our sins. He was crucified, He died and was buried; on the third day He was raised from the dead. Today He Lives. Praise The Lord!!!!

The similarities are that women came to annoint the body, there was no body and they were told by angels that Christ had indeed risen as he told them that he would. Upon following instructions from the angels the women and Christ's disciples later encountered Christ when and where they were supposed to.

Q2. What similarities do you find in the resurrection accounts? Based on the agreements between the accounts, what seems to have happened?

Jesus was dead and buried.

Disciples were not ready for Jesus' death.

The grave was empty on Easter.

A number of experiences led the disciples to believe that Jesus was resrrected.

The disciples went and told about the resurrection.

Everybody pretty much saw the same thing. Jesus really did die for our sins, and He really did come out of the grave and appear to the disciples, and this means that we are all saved and life is so good, because Jesus loves me, this I know-for the Bible tells me so! Gloray! Got to go shout-bye!

Q2.

What similarities do you find in the resurrection accounts?

Based on the agreements between the accounts, what seems to have happened?

We know for sure Jesus died and was buried. Jesus was raised from the dead and we read that none of the disciples expected this; they were in total disarray. On finding the tomb empty it was first thought the body had been stolen. What happened was that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, was raised on the third day, appeared first to Peter and later to the rest of the disciples.

Q2. What similarities do you find in the resurrection accounts? Based on the agreements between the accounts, what seems to have happened?

They all speak of the fact that Jesus died and was buried and on Sunday Morning had risen. That He was seen by the women and the disciples and later by Paul. The only thing that could have happened with the grave being guarded was that the Holy Spirit brought Jesus back from the dead and He lives just like He said He would.

Jesus has died and been buried. Everyone is confusion and cant believe what has just happened. They are scared. The body was missing Easter morning but it was still believed that someone might have stolen it. Many people then experienced seeing and talking with the Lord and began proclaiming Him alive.

Q2. What similarities do you find in the resurrection accounts? Based on the agreements between the accounts, what seems to have happened?

The similarities we find in the resurrection accounts are:

1. Jesus was dead and buried.

2. The disciples were not prepared for Jesus' death. They were overcome with confusion.

3. The tomb was found on Easter morning to be empty. But this in itself did not inspire faith. Mary thought the body was stolen.

4. The disciples encountered a number of experiences which they took to be appearances of Jesus risen from the dead.

5. The disciples proclaimed the resurrection of Jesus in Jerusalem, near where he had been buried.

Based on the agreements between the accounts, what seems to have happened was:

* Mary Magdalene saw him first and spoke to him (Mark 16:9; John 20:16).

* Other women also saw him and touched him (Matthew 28:9)

Jesus appeared to Peter and other apostles (Luke 24:34; 1Corinthians15:5; Mark 16:14; Luke 24:36)

* Jesus appeared to Thomas (John 20:26-28).

Q2. What similarities do you find in the resurrection accounts? Based on the agreements between the accounts, what seems to have happened?

The similarities that I find in the resurrection accounts that even though that Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John has a same stories, but it has a different details of the events. In my own words, When Jesus died, the two women went to the tomb to see Jesus. When they went to the tomb, the body was gone, but one or two angels appeared and tell Jesus' followers to the Gailee. Then Jesus appeared to Mary.(the mother) and Jesus appeared to his followers.

Q2. What similarities do you find in the resurrection accounts? Based on the agreements between the accounts, what seems to have happened?

What is the same in each account is when it took place...that women went to the grave and that a body was missing. Also that the women went and told about this and that many saw the body of a living Christ after His death. What seems to have happened is that Christ died a terrible death and His followers were sad and frightened. On the third morning after he had died and been buried some women went to his site of burial and arriving found that Jesus' body was missing. This was told to his followers and one by one together and alone all His followers plus many many others saw and spoke and spent time with a living Christ. Jesus returned to life and had fellowship with those who had given up on Him

There are several differences and similarities in the Gospels's account of Christs' Ressurection. Because they vary slightly in detail does not make them questionable. When comparing Matthew to Mark we find that Matthew has the angel coming before the mary(ies) and removing the stone (Matthew 28:2 compare to Mark16:5) while Mark says that the rock was already moved and that the angel was inside.

Luke 24:1-44 says that when the two mary(ies) entered the tomb it was empty and then they were started by two men in dazzling attire; to which they fell to their knees in fear. John 20:1-29 says that Mary Magdelen came in the dark pf pre-morning at which time she ran into Simon Peter. They say two brilliantly dressed angels sitting on the boulder.

Based on the agreements between the similarities I venture to say that the differences arrive from the grief and stress of the situation. Mayhap the people that they say ourside the tomb were actual guards (I realize that they were fear-stricken guards but I believe that some of them thought post better than the alternative) who went into hiding until Jesus hads left the tomb.

THIS IS ACTUALLY QUESTION ONE BUT I COULD NOT CUT IT AND MOVE IT TO QUESTION ONE. SORRY!

Q2. What similarities do you find in the resurrection accounts?

Based on the agreements between the accounts, what seems to have happened?

Ans. The similarities seen is that the women went to the tomb, the stone was rolled away, the angels or angel did appear, Jesus was not there, and the women were told to go and tell. Even though in John, Mary was the only one at the scene. The agreement between the Gospels is that we know Jesus died, was buried, resurrected and seen by many before ascension.
