Jesus is the One to go to God on our behalf. Christ is the mediator of a new covnant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inhertiance, now that He has died as a ramsom to set us free from the sins committed under the first covenant. Jesus is the true ransom the sacrificial Lamb for all mankind to experience, the joy of knowing that Jesus paid a price that no man could pay in full. Jesus is the "Bridge" who stretched Himself across the chasm of sin separating fallen man and a Holy God, removing the separation and reopening the access Adam and Eve had before they fell. In what sense is Jesus a ransom from sin? Jesus precious, sinless, shed blood, death, resurrection was the price or ransom God required, that bought fallen man back from Satan, so we once again belong to God...those who choose to be chosen and receive Christ as Lord and Savior. With His blood, the ransom was paid to God for our freedom from sure death because of our sins. Jesus as a mediator is the one who intervenes between God and us. He is the one who makes or restores our peace and friendship with God. By His death on the cross, He removes the obstacle (our sin) which caused this separation. It is when we as sinners accept the merits of the sacrifice our Lord made that the guilt and penalty of our sin is no more. The power of sin in our life is broken, and we become the recipient of the divine nature, and the estrangement between ourselves and God disappears. Jesus surpasses all laws. He is The Man Christ Jesus. He gave Himself for ALL! You can only get salvation from one God, and the only way to Him is thru Jesus. Jesus understands us perfectly and represents us at the right hand of God the Father. Jesus gave Himself freely for our sins dying on that cross, shedding His blood which in turn He is held in ransom for our sins, because without Him we would not be free of our sins or have the gift of eternal life. Sin kept man separated from God, Jesus has brought us together, man and God. In order for Jesus to become the mediator between God and man, he offered his self by dying on the cross, to pay the ransom for which sin kept hold of us. We were slaves to sin, unacceptable to a Holy God, through Christ deliverance we are set free from sins death hold, we can now approach the Holy of Holy's and God. There is only way to be redeemed backed to God from sin and that is through Jesus Christ. We must believe and confess our sins to him in order for God to hear and forgive because that is what is required by God. Jesus was born in flesh as a ransom for us to be forgiven of sin, so that we could be worthy to be with God. God will not allow sin to reign in his people for he is sinless and expects us to be sinless also. We are to be washed in the blood of the lamb (Christ) in order to receive external life with God the father. We are to live a life of holiness and free of sin in order to be worthy enough to serve him. We were made to worship God and we are to do that free of sin. God has made a way for us to do that, and that is through his only son, Jesus Christ. " For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believe on him shall have every lasting life. Jesus is the mediator for us in the fact He is the only one who can truly could die on a cross at Calvary and pay the cost for our sins and buy us back from the kingdom of darkness to redeem us. He is the only true bridge to gap the mighty gulf between us and God. The Lord is a ransom for many because He purchased us back from the kingdom of darkness and placed into the kingdom of light.
