Q5. Experiencing the Glory of God

Recommended Posts

We can expect to experience God's glory as adopted sons and daughters into His kingdom upon Christ's return. The Earth will see the sons and daughters of God. They will be influenced by His righteousness and mercy. Our bodies will be redeemed and we will have the Spirit to help us see all truth.

Q5. (Romans 8:18-25)

18I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. 19The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. 20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that[a] the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? In what way will our spirits experience God's glory?

When Christ comes we will see Him in all His power splender and glory! The suffering creation will be no more but be of new. Our mortal bodies will be no more we will be given new heavenly bodies and we will be risen up to be at the side of Christ. Our spirits will unite with Christ.

Only our great God and Father could create within us such excitement, we are waiting to rid ourselves of this body that has been shapen in sin, a body that was borne to die.

We wait to inherit a body that cannot die or yield to corruption, we shall be like Him.

And with Him, no more sickness, no more sad goodbyes, no more tears. Wow! what a Saviour.

There's a land that is fairer than day

And by faith we can see it afar

And the father waits over the way

To prepare us a dwelling place there.

In the sweet by and by

We shall meet on that beautiful shore

In the sweet by and by

We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

To our bountiful father above

We will offer our tribute of praise

For the glorious gift of his love

And the blessings that hallow our days.

In the sweet by and by

We shall meet on that beautiful shore

In the sweet by and by

We shall meet on that beautiful shore.

In the sweet by and by

We shall meet on that beautiful shore

In the sweet by and by

We shall meet on that beautiful shore

Thankyou Lord for saving me.

Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? In what way will our spirits experience God's glory?

Rom 8:18 I consider that what we suffer at this present time cannot be compared at all with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.

Rom 8:19 All of creation waits with eager longing for God to reveal his children.

Rom 8:20 For creation was condemned to lose its purpose, not of its own will, but because God willed it to be so. Yet there was the hope

Rom 8:21 that creation itself would one day be set free from its slavery to decay and would share the glorious freedom of the children of God.

Rom 8:22 For we know that up to the present time all of creation groans with pain, like the pain of childbirth.

Rom 8:23 But it is not just creation alone which groans; we who have the Spirit as the first of God's gifts also groan within ourselves as we wait for God to make us his children and set our whole being free.

Rom 8:24 For it was by hope that we were saved; but if we see what we hope for, then it is not really hope. For who of us hopes for something we see?

Rom 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Upon the return of our Lord I believe we will have a complete renewal of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual being. No longer will we have pain in any areas of our lives and we will be living with our Father ... in a life of continuous joy and praise. All will be as it was intended in the beginning. Every aspect of creation will be perfect. No longer will sin cause us to decay but we will live our lives sinless and for all eternity. We will be in the very presence of the Lord...seeing Him...hearing Him and knowing Him...all that my spirit longs for.

Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? We, and with us creation will experience God's glory in a very real way. The way of things now will cease to exist and we, and with us the whole of creation will be restored to how God originally created us in His own image.

How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? In what way will our spirits experience God's glory? We will be changed. Our bodies will no longer be mortal and we will be transformed into the image in which God originally created us. Frankly, I don't know what that will look or feel like, but we will be filled with God's glory, and become a part of God's glory. If that is pie in the sky, then fine, please reserve a slice of that pie for me!!

In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes? When Jesus comes, everything will be restored to the way He intended it to be. Hallelujah!

How will the suffering creation experience God's glory? We will be transformed into the image that God wants us to have.

In what ways will our spirits experience God's glory? Our spirits will rise out of the dead in Christ first, then as the believers are taken away into the sky to be with Jesus as He comes. Once we are together, there will be no more pain, suffering of any kind, nor any negativity in our spirits whatsoever.

When Christ comes, God's glory "will be revealed in us" and will fill us. We will be made anew like all creation and will live eternally in the house of God. Creation itself "will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God." Freedom awaits!

Rom 8:18-25 MKJV For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the coming glory to be revealed in us. (19) For the earnest expectation of the creation waits for the manifestation of the sons of God. (20) For the creation was not willingly subjected to vanity, but because of Him who subjected it on hope (21) that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. (22) And we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now. (23) And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruit of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, awaiting adoption, the redemption of our body. (24) For we are saved by hope. But hope that is seen is not hope; for what anyone sees, why does he also hope for it? (25) But if we hope for that which we do not see, then we wait for it with patience.

I expect that there will be joy; we will be rewarded by God for our faithfulness. The suffering creation is going to feel the wrath of God. Our bodies will be resurrected and redeemed with Christ into Heavenly bodies. With our hope and faith our spirits will arise triumphantly with Christ.

Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes?

As we reign with Christ we also will experience the glory Christ has with God before He came to earth.

"And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began." (John 17:5)

How will the suffering creation experience God's glory?

The suffering creation experience God's glory as a time of peace, a new heaven and a new earth.

How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory?

Our mortal bodies will experience God's glory in resurrected bodies.

In what way will our spirits experience God's glory?

Our spirits will experience God's glory as God's glory will extend toward us and fill us!

Then we become part of Christ.

There will be a new creation.

Our mortal bodies die but we will get a new body.

Our spirits will be with God forever.

Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes?

ANS - Wow! - We will be in His holy, glorious presence, our tired old diseased bodies will be no more, and we will be transformed into our heavenly bodies.

How will the suffering creation experience God's glory?

ANS - It will become as when God originally crated the earth - perfect in every way, with no decay, disease, or dying. When the new heavens and the new earth are created, this for sure will be the case. It might even be this way during the millineum, the 1,000 year reign of Christ upon this earth.

How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory? In what way will our spirits experience God's glory?

ANS - We will experience our heavenly bodies, with no more sickness, no more cancer, no more diabetes, no more getting older with all of its aches and pains.

In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes?

As humans we long for that day to stand in the mere presence of God...to be near our Christ Jesus and back on His glory. The toils of everyday life will be gone and replaced with the never ending love of God....it is surreal.

How will the suffering creation experience God's glory?

Creation will be as God first intended it...no death...no discord....lions will lay with lambs just about covers it all.

How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory?

We will be resurrected with Christ Jesus and be given a new heavenly body...in the likeness and refelction of Him, I do not pretend to know or understand but this sounds the BEST !!!!

In what way will our spirits experience God's glory?

We will be new creatures...that old sin nature is now gone and we are in love totally with our Lord....and He loves us the same way. AMEN!!!!

We will experience God's glory in that our bodies will be perfect and freed from the decay and corruption of this world. The suffering creation will experience God's glory as it is freed from decay. Our mortal bodies will be redeemed to be like our Creator. Our spirits will experience true adoption as children of God. "In a moment, we shall all be changed."

We really don't know what that glory will be revealed in us. We can only go by the glory of Jesus and know that we will share His glory. His glory has been described as being radiant, shining etc.and He wanted it returned to Him like He was before He became human. The creation will experience the glory of God by being restored to the way it was when He created it. The order of thing will be restored. Every creature and thing will be able to exist without conflicts or fear from each other. Man and animal will be able to dwell in peace.Isa. 11:6-9 As for our mortal bodies we will be given new bodies. Our spirit will experience the glory of God by having all our sufferings in the past. We will have nothing but joy, no more decaying and dying, no more sorrows and pain. We will become joint-inheritors with Jesus.

Q5. (Romans 8:18-25) In what sense do we expect to experience God's glory when Christ comes?

When we are resurrected we will be "shiny" in our resurrection bodies. God's Spirit will imbue us and cause us to radiate God's Glory. At least that's my understanding of it.

How will the suffering creation experience God's glory?

God will "fix" everything. The old imperfect world will be done away with and all will be made new . . and perfect.

How will our mortal bodies experience God's glory?

If we're alive at the time of Christ's second coming we'll be changed in the blink of an eye. We'll get our resurrection bodies instantly as we're changed by God's power. At least that's my understanding of it.

In what way will our spirits experience God's glory?

I can't realistically answer that one. The Spirit to spirit communication we have now will seem like a pale inferior imitation of what it'll be like when we're face to face with God in His Kingdom. We'll shine in God's reflected glory.

The glory that we will feel when Jesus comes to redeem His followers, You and me, will far surpass any glory that we have had or will ever feel.

At the resurrection of our mortal bodies, we will reclaim our physical bodies as resurrected bodies.

We will feel none of the pain or sorrow that we feel now. We will claim our new earth and our tears of groaning will be no more...
