How does love being the essence of God's nature affect us? If we were created in God's image of love, but fell, what does this say about the road to healing in our lives? Why does love demand a willingness to forgive? Throughout the generations man has thought and still does that he fully understands love, and that it is in his power to control it. Sadly this love is superficial and unforgiving, and it is not until one is reborn into Christ that they can and do start to experience what true love is. As we grow in our walk with the Lord, and yield to His will we will find that this gift will consume all negativity and hatred and will conquer all fears and doubts. Of all Gods gifts to us the gift of love is all encompassing and eternal, and was commanded of Jesus. It is out of His love that He created us and every living thing. If we love our fellowman than we are beginning to have some understanding of God's Love. As God Loves us we are able by His Grace to love our fellowman. The road to Healing in our lives can have many ups and downs bur through the blood of Jesus and His Sacrifice on the Cross a Way has been made for each of us and we only have to acknowledge our Sin and ask for forgiveness and God is able to set us free and Heal us. Love is the central core of God's nature. It is central to everything that God is; just, merciful, holy etc. If God were not love, He would have given up on us long ago and certainly would never have sent His son to die that we might be forgiven. God's love for us is often compared to the love of a parent for a child, and it is, except that it is more than that, because it is perfect and, thank God, never ending. How does love being the essence of God's nature affect us? Without it we would be lost. Without it, God would have abandoned us long ago and would certainly never have sent His son to die for us. Without it, we would therefore have been lost and without hope. If we were created in God's image of love, but fell, what does this say about the road to healing in our lives? Jesus commanded us in John 15:12 to "love one another as I have loved you" or, as John puts it in his letter "since God loved us so much we also ought to love one another" (4:11). Thus our road to healing is the road of love for God and for one another. Why does love demand a willingness to forgive? Unforgiveness leads to hate and hate is the antithesis of love. Think where we would be if God had been unwilling to forgive us. We should love as God loved us and forgive as God forgave us. Love says it all. 1st Corinthians 13 Gods nature is all that. If we have fallen off the path of Christ it could be that an enemy has trespassed against us.We have forgotten about love and our sinful nature takes over. But God has not fallen from love, and He reaches us thru His ways. We thru His powers come to forgive the enemy and that brings us back on that path with Christ.To be able to forgive comes from the heart, and that takes love, for love can soften a cold heart.Remember the Law, To love your God with all your mind, your soul and heart, and to love your neighbor as yourself, it is all based on Love, and that is who God is. It says about His nature, that everything else is second to that. That the deepest understanding we can have of Him is that He is love. This affects us, because this is our hope. As we walk our journey in life and all that entails, the foundation of God being love, is what carries us through. When we fall, He is love and picks us up. When we hurt, He is love and comforts us, when we can't go on, He is love and supports us to see us through. He is love in everything. When we doubt, He is love and shows truth. When we even hate ourselves, He is love no matter what we face. His love heals and sustains. Love demands a willingness to forgive because we ourselves are the receivers of such great love and forgiveness and we are to demonstate that to others. It shows us that God's nature is to love everyone and that everything He does is done through Love. This knowledge gives us a secure feeling, because we know that "all things come together for the good of those who love Christ -- or those He loves" We are created in God's image of love, but we fall, and when we do we can have confidence to know that when we confess our sin to God, He loves us so much that He will forgive us - and so healing begins. We must also forgive those who have hurt us, for we must follow God's example. If we do not forgive, it hurts us even more that the person we refuse to forgive. It say that in every attribute of His nature flows from love. And because of this every action of God towards us is done in a loving way; his justice with love, holiness with love, predestination with love, etc. As fallen man, we have been redeemed to arise once again to the image of love, because Christ blood has cleanse us so that we are forgiven and can forgive to once again love as God calls us to. This is important to understanding His motivations and His very nature; unless we see and understand this, our vision of Him becomes distorted, and we don't see Him the way that He is; we see or think of Him as cold, distant, judging, rather than loving, caring, and near (approachable). Knowing that God is love should encourage us to approach and draw close to Him; it should also encourage us to be more like Him in our nature towards our fellow humans, especially those in the household of faith. To the ones outside the church, our reflection of God's love towards them should draw and bring them to God. That we were originally created in the Image of the loving image of God, but fell from that grace, but are now back in that grace, means that we are on the road to becoming again what God intended us to be from the beginning. Love demands a willingness to forgive, because you can't truly fully love someone unless you get past the hard feelings you may have towards them if they have done something hurtful to you. The world has their idea of love and knowing that God is love, will not allow us to think of worldly love the same as Godly love. What does it say about God's nature? It is a way that we can recognize when something is of God. This says that God is goodness. I find love and benefit to be interchangeable. How does love being the essence of God's nature affect us? It affects us with belief, hope, trust, faith, etc. It allows us a deeper understanding of who God is and who God is not. If we were created in God's image of love, but fell, what does this say about the road to healing in our lives? The road to healing is about our minds and our souls. This helps us to understand how powerfully affected by the fall that the mind and soul of man, became. The very seat of our emotions and will and decisions became twisted and perverted with wickedness and evil. Our spirits do not require healing as they are reborn. The spirit will require growth and development. But, our minds and our souls will require healing. Why does love demand a willingness to forgive? Because unforgiveness belongs to the curse. John's statement about God being love and the theme throughout the Bible about "loving your neighbor as yourself" really separates the God of the Bible from any other demonic inspired god or reglion. The god of the Koran is clearly not the God of the Bible (God is love vs. god is hate). The power of love, as defined in I Corin. 13, can transform a human life completely, making us whole, as well as transforming a lost and dark world. If each believer would really loved their neighbors as themselves and contribute to others more than they consume this world would be an entirely different place. Love cannot exist in an ungiving heart. God who is love commands us to forgive others so they we might be forgiven. Jesus' model prayer states this clearly. Should we find ourselves carrying an attitude not based on love we must ask God's love to increase in us as the ill attitude decreases. The characteristcs of God is predicated on love. His Grace and Mercy is given because of His love for us. If He didn't love us why would He give His only begotten to us? All of us have fallen short of the glory of God. He has asked us to reach out to Him for what we need. We need only ask for forgiveness for His acceptance. He will heal us. People must seek a deeper love of forgiveness. It sets us apart from others inthe world, we walk a differnt path because we serve a living God. He is fair, just, sees all, and is Love. What does it say about God's nature? It says that this is the best of all attributes...with all of the amazing things that God is , he sets himslef as differetn from other world religions. Perhaps it is beacuse as humans we know what love feels like and we can draw clsoer to Him. How does love being the essence of God's nature affect us? It gives us that closeness that we need...almost as child and parent. We can know how we should act by His example. Of love along with forgiveness. Why does love demand a willingness to forgive? We as human are not capable of understanding the depth and breath of God's love. We were created to glorify Him. We easily falter, and by fatherly love He corrects us, and sometimes when we get blessings and feel more clearly his grace, we think we understand something. We do to an extent, since God forgives us when we seek him, but we can only say how great is his love and grace and wisdom. How unworthy are we, yet still he give us his blessings and gives us life. Meditating on this enough can help us to let Him heal us more and more, but it is an endless 'job' here in the earth plane. WE can never love enough like him, we can't grasp it all, we can only fall and reach for him to pick us up. Clearly he love us like the prodigal son coming home; his arms are always open and forgiving. This teaches us that the best is to forgive others fully and to resolve "issues" with them ASAP, to keep our hearts on the right track. Then we are more available to hear God and server to someone in the moment he want us to. He is always giving us chances to server others with an open but discerning heart. Further more, entering into it requires spiritual transformation. Nicodimus did not initially understand the Lord Jesus that was why he wondered how one could go back into his mother womb to be be born again. We know from that that God will act with love in whatever He does, whether helping us day by day or judging us when we sin and drift away from His teachings 2. He wants to pour out His amazing love on all the world, but He does expect love, worship and obedience in exchange. 3. We are told to love one another as He has loved us. We are not to hold on to anger, spite, selfcenteredness etc, but to love the ones causing us anger and pain and to forgive them as He forgives us. 4. For our spirit to be healed and become loving and wholesome again, we must first seek God again, pray for His forgiveness and for His healing, then forgive those who have sinned against us. 5. If you love God, you want to obey Him, live like Him, and love one another as He commands. You must loveand forgive others for God to love and forgive youl.
