Q2. Children and Fathers

Recommended Posts

Q2. (Colossians 3:20-21) In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? For spiritual life in the future? What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

obedience prepares a child for everyday life in the future as obedience is part of our daily lifestyle, in school you need to be obedient toward your teachers as this is how you learn and it also keeps an orderly classroom. then when they are exposed to the real world of working for an employer, they have to learn to be obedient to what ever the boss tells you to do. obedience is the cornerstone of our peace and welfare as for example if everyone was very disobedient this would cause major problems in schools, workplaces anywhere, where obedience is very crucial to people getting along and making the workplace or whatever a better, happier and safer place to be.

for spiritual life in the future obedience is so very important because if we do not obey god then we are lost and very mixed up. obedience to god keeps us from sinning and causing jesus to suffer unbearably and it brings us closer to god and jesus, which is how it should be.

fathers can do many things to keep from discouraging their children and forcing them to become frustrated, talk with them about what you believe and why you believe what you do, praise them when they do do good and also remember to do everything in love.

Q2. (Colossians 3:20-21) In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? For spiritual life in the future? What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

Obedience prepares a child for everyday life in the future by guiding him to respect authority and to show concern for others. Spiritual life in the future is enhanced by accepting and respecting authority and by knowing God is the highest authority. Fathers can encourage their children and not being bitter towards them or discouraging them as they learn new things. Discipline and teach respect to children in aloving manner and encourage them as they learn new things and new ways of doing things.

Obedience prepares the child to obey those in authority. There will always be those in authority! Obeying God is the very most important form of obedience for our whole life!

Fathers can keep from discouraging their children by applying discipline rather than punishment. They need to LOVE their children through the discipline.

A child who learns to obey his parents will not find it difficult to obey higher authorities- at school, workplace, the Government etc. Since obedience to parents pleases God, a child who is obedient to his parents will also obey God, observe His decrees and will please God. He will thus be blessed by God because obedience leads to blessings- both spiritual and physical.

Fathers should tenderly lead children to know what they have done wrong and when a disciplinary measure has to be taken, it should be in love and not harsh.

Q2. (Colossians 3:20-21) In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? For spiritual life in the future? What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

In the big bad world, everything is about obedience. We have to obey the laws of the country we are living in. We have to obey our bosses. We have to "obey" our spouses. We have to obey social norms, otherwise we will be considered a social outcast. Similarly, in our spiritual life, we are called to obey the commandments of God. When a person finds it difficult to obey, this lack of discipline can manifest itself in frequent punishments, difficulty in maintaining a relationship and a lack of close friends.

To keep from discouraging their children, I suppose the most important thing that a father can do is to be patient. He needs to see that the child does not always see and feel like he does. By being patient, it allows the father to remain calm and composed. This goes a long way towards teaching a child instead of admonishing the child.

In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future?

Obedience prepares us for life in a real world, in order to get along with others we need to know how to curtail our selfishness and be thoughtful and listen to those in power or authority.

For spiritual life in the future?

Obedience helps us keep in a submitted spirit toward Jesus....to want to do the will if God....obedience means to listen when we feel our way is the only way.

What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

Parents want to be of an encouraging nature...not constantly picking and criticizing until a spirit is broken. We need to be an example by our actions....not a constant barrage of negativity.

The way that obedience prepares a child for everyday life in the future is that they will be able to follow instructions. It will also be able to give them the ability to think ahead and be able to accomplish some tasks on their own without being told.

The way that obedience prepares a child for spiritual life in the future is by being obedient to their parents they will teach them the way they should pray and interact with spiritual leaders.

The thing that fathers can do to keep from discouraging their children is to get involved in their life and to do things with them. They should encourage that at all times that they can. They should also discipline them when that is needed also.

Q2 Obedient children will grow up with strong character, happier than the disobedient.

Their outlook, attitude and behaviour are more courteous and their concept of life

is more positive. When they face the world, they are more prepared and confident.

It is the parents duty to plant the seeds of good spiritual foundation in the child,

so that they can face the challenges of the world without any problem.

It is every responsibilities of the fathers (even the mothers) to bring up their

offerings with plenty of love and attention. God has put the child in their charge

and it is vital that they are not to embitter the child that can arises to violent,

and resentment when they grow up.

Being obedient to one's parents prepares a child to be obedient to other authority figures later in life, teachers, policemen, employers, etc.

By obeying their parents, children are also pleasing the Lord. Obeying also helps children to submit to those in spiritual authority, their pastors, sunday school teachers, etc.

Fathers can keep from discouraging their children by not being too harsh on them. If a child does something wrong he should be punished. However, the father shouldn't keep bringing the incident up and confronting the child with it. This will only dishearten the child. Fathers need to discpline their children, but they need to let the children now that he still loves them.

Obedience prepares children to be effective employees in the marketplace and military service as well as effective students throughout high school, college, and post-graduate work. Q2. (Colossians 3:20-21) In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? For spiritual life in the future? What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

Obedience stems from the root word obey which we all as children need to practice over and over until we learn that it is not the goal to be perfect at it, but it is to become proficient in realizing that the goal of being obedient is in the practice. To me the journey of life as a child teaches us that we never stop for as we grow into an adult we only change in whom we answer to. I didn't learn obedience as a child, but as an adult I can see how our humble beginnings areas important as the rest of our lives. In the obeidence of our spiritual life is a disclipine of being obedient through prayer and submission to the Father. To keep a child on the right tract parents need to add encouragement and love.

Q2. (Colossians 3:20-21) In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? For spiritual life in the future? What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? We always will have to answer to someone. If we work, we have supervisors, if we are stay at home moms, we have husbands whom we must submit to since they are the head of the house. We even have the government bodies that enforce the laws we are to obey. Therefore, it makes sense to teach our children the importance of obedience as they grow up. They will be used to obeying parents, so this will be an easier transition for them to make compared to not having to obey anyone as they grow up.

In what way does obedience prepare a child for spiritual life in the future? Since the parents will teach the child obedience as they grow up, obeying God will be much easier to do. It helps if both parents are Christians and the child sees them obeying God.

What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children? They should be interested in what their children are interested in doing. Also, they should listen to them and talk with them about all things. Encourage their children. Another thing for fathers to do is to be with them and participate in activities with them. Also, fathers should not go overboard in discipline. The punishment should justify the crime type of thing works best.

Q2. (Colossians 3:20-21)

In what ways does obedience prepare a child for every day life in the future?

Children become prepared because they view the world with a sense of order. Children realize the rules set forth by their parents enables them to become productive citizens. If parents taught the commandment "Thou shalt not steal", this will prevent the child's need to steal from family members, neighbors, co-workers on the job. A child sent to school every day(regardless of how they feel) will go to work each day (regardless of how they feel). They will not find an excuse to stay home from work.

For spiritual life in the future?

Children will state to their parents that they prefer not to attend church services. However, a wise parent makes it mandatory for them to go. Later on, the child becomes an adult and decides that church is not a necessity for him/her. However, when trials and tribulations come, they remember how the Lord assisted various family members and decide to return to the Lord.

What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

Fathers have to learn how to discipline each child because one size does not fit all. Some children can be given a stern glance with the eye to straighten them out - - - some have to receive an actual punishment to end their rebellious nature. However, father nor mother should ever show favortism to any one child in the family. This causes fights and fiction among siblings. Look what happened to Joseph in the Bible!

Q2. (Colossians 3:20-21) In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? For spiritual life in the future? What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

As a family has a proper working order so does society. Submitting to a boss, authorities, doctor, husband, whatever we learn as children. If we learn well how and when we will probably live more peaceable lives and understand, love and obey our Heavenly Father better. If we experience hurt or abuse we will probably repeat those failures to those who come into our lives. Being a parent is a relationship with tremendous consequences. Sometimes it is on the job training with tragic consequences. I am wondering why God has entrusted his sinful children with that responsibility as I write this. There is eternity at stake. However I am glad that he has, I love my kids.

We need to pray for each of us who is a parent and for our kids because sometimes we just flub up.

God Bless!

Jen

Obedience prepares a child for life in general. Following the laws of authority, policies in schools and on the work site, for safety reasons and for the respect of others. It prepares them to be obedient to the Word of God. Fathers should lead the way by example and also motivate and encourage their children.

(Colossians 3:20-21) In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? For spiritual life in the future? What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

Answer:Answer:Obedience instill discipline. If a child as young as he is,learn to have this virue in home, then He can carry this outside and in Fact reflect one of Jesus greatest character:OBEDIENCE..Obedience to the cross. One of the best verse to Characterized Christ Obedience to the Father can be found in Matthew 26:39- And he went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

If Obedience is nurtured in the House,as in a child obeying his parents,it also prepares the way for his immersion to the outside world, and can help a lot in his relationship with other people, such as His Teacher, boss, etc.

The father on His part must not be too harsh in his discipline to the child,to the point of physical harm. This will just create hidden desire to fight back from the child, and harbor resentment.

Q2. (Colossians 3:20-21) In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? For spiritual life in the future? What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

Obedience to one's parents when the teachings are of the right context, can prepare a child to live a Godly, positive and productive life. Obedience prepares one for lives endeavors in both the spiritual realm and in the Earthly sense. It teaches self control and values, which carries over into ones adult life. We as Christians walks in obedience accordance to what our Father God expects of us! When we don't we must ask his forgiveness. We must ask him always to help us walk the walk of obedience.

What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children? I have personal experience with this, both my parents were very negative, and discouraging people. They never "lifted" up their children in any way. It left lasting effects on all 3 of us.I struggled with depression and life failures for several years. My brother is an alcoholic, and my sister also suffers from depression and many emotional disorders. It has a lasting and lifelong effect on our children when we do not promote in them a sense of love, well being, respect, and Godly values. As a father one must seek to teach their children about God, must punish in a way that is not physically or mentally demeaning, i prefer to call it giving direction, as to giving 'punishment' punishment to me denotes a much harsher word. We must never physically punish our children , we must seek constantly to encourage and deliver them from evil. Fathers especially have a lasting effect on their children's behavior and lives values, because children look to their fathers especially, for direction.

While we don't want to teach our children to blindly follow all authority (Jesus certainly did not), we want to teach them to follow and respect the family, the law, school, church, and other societal structures that are put in place to protect their best interests. Obedience requires humility and putting the self aside, which, of course, is necessary for following Christ. Parents can best encourage their children by reminding them that they love them even in the midst of discipline. Also, I think it is crucial that parents respect and encourage their children to pursue the gifts that God has given them. It is so heartbreaking to see kids forced to play piano or football when that is not where their hearts or talents lie. God may have entrusted these children to us parents, but they are their own people with God's own plan for their lives. We must encourage them to become the best that God has created them to be.

Obedience prepares children to mindful of authority in their everyday and spiritual lives. Fathers can keep from discouraging their children by teaching them to be respectful to others, as well as respecting them, positively encouraging them, teaching them to be disciplined, living a life and being a role model that can have a positive effect on a child throughout their lives.

Q2. (Colossians 3:20-21) In what way does obedience prepare a child for everyday life in the future? For spiritual life in the future? What can fathers do to keep from discouraging their children?

Children must learn self control and the way to self control is obedience. Parents can ensure their children's self control by enforcing good and fair rules upon their children. These roles must be enforced uniformly from one day to the next and from child to child.  If this practice is followed the children's lives will be enhanced. Both in the world and in relation to the spiritual world of the Lord. In our relationship with God there  seems to be an obedience factor as well. Also our spirit lives need to be in self control. In 1 Corinthians Paul gives instructions for behavior in church.

Father's and mother's can guide their children with love, care and with an eye to the Lord's guidance.
