Q2. Persistent Sexual Sin

Recommended Posts

BEING MARKED FOR CONDEMNATION. NO ONE CAN CONTINUE TO SIN AND INHERIT THE KINGDOM. SPIRITUAL DEATH IS THE DIRECT CAUSE OF CONTINUAL SIN. OUR BODIES ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT SO IF YOU SIN THROUGH SEXUAL SIN, YOU ARE SINNING AGAINST YOUR OWN BODY AND THE HOLY SPIRIT. ALL OTHER SIN IS OUTSIDE THE BODY.

BY LOOKING THE OTHER WAY AND EVERYBODY'S DOING IT ATTITUDE.

The Bible is clear thath those who persist in sexual sin of any kind will not see Heaven. We are being made holy (sanctified). This cannot possibly include sexual sin. When Jesus forgives sexual sin He says, "Go and sin no more."

Our culture has become rebellious and inured to the Holy Spirit which convicts of sin. Many churches are afraid to lose people and so make their message acceptable to those in sin. They are men pleasers. Our culture has deteriorated slowly but systematically over the last forty years of mass media messages and churches have not had the gatekeepers keeping watch on the Truth, or if they have, the media and peer groups have had a louder voice. The generation gaps have widened creating disunity. Family life has given way to public image and the young have not the respect for elders that is healthy and gains them wise advice. Christian girls have not got the message that fashion marketing uses the strong pull of sexuality, and wear suggestive clothing. Even if they are virginal, they make it difficult for the young fellows.

But praise the Lord the current young generation do not know a lot about what the sixties generation rebelled about, and are wide open to hear the Gospel. Let's go get 'em!"

Our bodies are the members of Christ and by abusing our bodies we will be abusing and being unrighteous to Jesus Christ. We as christians have been believing that sexual actions has nothing to do with Jesus Christ. That is wrong. We were to have decent sexual relationships as husband and wife to provide and produce fruit of life (Children). Sex has been taken out of pretext so very long ago. It has become a natural thing to do but there's so many consequences to those actions and humans fail to realize that.

Q2. (Jude 4) In what way does sexual sin deny Christ? If Paul is right in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, that persistent sexual sin is incompatible with salvation, why have we Christians become so complacent about it in our culture?

Sexual sin is about the desires of the flesh/self, and therefore oppose's Christ, who call's us to walk a Spiritual life in Him.

By experience through fellowship with so-called christians, those who would like to be so-called, but that do not believe "all of The Word of God", are rebellious, false teachers, and only agree with the parts of The Bible that make them right without addressing that which is wrong. But get to the part where God call's "it" out, and all of the sudden "that don't apply, and man wrote it"! (That is a responce I have received on a couple of occasations from people who claim to be born again christians). Excuses being in the nature of: Whom ever is human with human needs and God created them, so it must be acceptable to fulfill that desire of the flesh, with whom ever, where ever. And well, in Africa if the women are found fertile before marriage, then they are worthy of marrying so as to bring on the next generations, so they say it must be right to have illicit sex...etc.

False brethren try to take the parts of the flesh they enjoy and incorporate it into their belief as acceptable because people every where are doing it, even in the church's, because they want to have the best of both worlds. And refuse to apply Gods' Word to there own life, as in having a personal relationship with God, in one accord, in one Spirit, unto God, just to save face (so they think) and try and avoid the suffering we were called into with Jesus.

NOT ONLY SEXUAL SIN BUT ANY SIN SEPERATES US FROM CHRIST.WE MUST NOT OVERLOOK OR TOLERATE IMMORAL BEHAVIORS.WE MUST NOT PARTIPATE IN SIN OR CODONE OR EXCUSE IT IN ANY WAY.BEING COMPLACENT OR JUST STANDING BACK NOT DOING OUR PART IN LETTING ONE KNOW THEY ARE HEADED THE WRONG WAY,AND THAT SIN WILL ONLY DESTROY THEIR LIFE.WE MUST STAND FIRM IN GODS WORD,AND SPREAD THE TRUTH,AND BE A TRUE LIGHT INTO THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD.LET THEM KNOW THAT BEING WASHED BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS HAS SET US FREE FROM SIN,SALVATION IS A LIFE GIVING GIFT FROM GOD WHO LOVES US.WE MUST GO OUT AND HELP FREE OTHERS,TELLING THEM ABOUT JESUS AND HIS LIFE GIVING TRUTH.

Christians are part of the bride of Christ. We need to keep ourselves sexually pure. Sexual sin denies Christ because it is a form of adultary.

I think the reason many Christians have become complacent about sex in our culture is because it is no longer the taboo topic it once was.

Q2. (Jude 4) In what way does sexual sin deny Christ?

The Bible states that sexual sin is against the teachings of Christ. Anytime we sin, we deny Christ.

If Paul is right in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, that persistent sexual sin is incompatible with salvation, why have we Christians become so complacent about it in our culture?

The complacency started when we allowed God to be taken from our schools. There is so much in the way of sexual sin around us today, that we tend to try to overlook it. It is sad to say that we are just become used to seeing it.

Q2. (Jude 4) In what way does sexual sin deny Christ?

Sexual sin denys Christ as it defiles his dwelling place within us, it defies his temple. It goes against His commands and it creates a void between us and God.

If Paul is right in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, that persistent sexual sin is incompatible with salvation, why have we Christians become so complacent about it in our culture?

I think we have become so complacent because, it seems like the norm, but as Christians we should remember that we are set apart, we are in the world but not of the world, so we shouldn't yield to the things of the world.

Christians have started to tolerate a lot of things that we shouldn'y, this is because we are notfirmly grounded in the word and so we are asily led astray. It's no excuse, but its reality.

Any sin denies Christ. We become complacent when we are bombarded with it so often that we become desensitized....the more we're exposed, the less impact on us. You can't avoid it - there is open sexuality in grocery store magazines at the check out counters, on TV shows and commercials, and you can't even avoid it walking down the street. I believe that's what Jude is referring to....we have to bring ourselves back (in our minds) to purity so that it shocks us as it once did.

Sexual sin goes against the teachings and moral standards set forth by the law, prophets, and Jesus Christ . Sexual sin has become such a part of our culture that we have become desensitized to it. It has gotten to the point that many don't see anything wrong with it. It has become an accepted part of our culture.

Sexual sin comes from our own bodies and becomes our God. Today's church has become conformed to the world and tolerates all manner of fornication, including homosexuality thus Christianity is complacent.

Interestingly enough the primary Cannanite Gods were slabs, pillars, trees, and poles which all represented sexual deities. The Israelites fell into the same situation that we are in today. A slave nation to sexual fulfillment. Hedonistic.

Q2. (Jude 4) In what way does sexual sin deny Christ? If Paul is right in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, that persistent sexual sin is incompatible with salvation, why have we Christians become so complacent about it in our culture?

SEXUAL SIN DENY CHRIST IN THAT OUR BODIES ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD. OUR SPIRITS AFFECTS OUR BODIES, SO OUR PHYSICAL BODIES AFFECT OUR SPIRIT. WE CAN NOT COMMIT SIN WITH OUR BODIES WITHOUT DAMAGING OUR SOULS BECAUSE OUR BODIES AND SOUL ARE INSEPERABLY JOINED.

IN A PERMISSIVE SOCIETY IT IS EASY FOR CHRISTIANS TO OVERLOOK OR TOLERATE SOME IMMORAL BEHAVIOR LIKE GREED, DRUNKNENNES E.T.C WHILE REMAINING OUTRAGED AT OTHERS LIKE HOMESEXUALITYAND THIEVERY. WE MUST NOT PARTICIPATE IN SIN OR CONDONE IT IN ANYWAYS, WE CAN NOT BE SELECTIVE ABOUT WHAT WE CONDEMN OR EXCUSE.. GOD EXPECTS HID FOLLOWERS IN ANY AGE TO HAVE HIGH STANDARD.

Q2. (Jude 4) In what way does sexual sin deny Christ? If Paul is right in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, that persistent sexual sin is incompatible with salvation, why have we Christians become so complacent about it in our culture?

1) Whenever we commit sexual sin we defraud a brother or sister. If I have sex with a woman whom God has not given to me, I defraud the man to whom she was given or for whom the Lord was preparing to give her and I defraud the woman of the purity for which she was created. Such an act is incompatible with Christ's command to love one another and incompatible with His command to love God who despises sexual immoraility. It should also be noted that sexual immorality is a sin in a way that no other sin is in that it is a sin against one's own body which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Paul wrote this in 1Cor. 6 and was careful to point that it is the only sin a man can commit against his own body (despite the fact that many who call themselves Christians say that smoking or chewing or eating "unhealthy" food is a sin against your temple) and this scripture indicates that the reason why it is also a sin against the body has something to do with the fact that the Holy Spirit LIVES in our flesh. The law states that the LIFE of a thing is in its blood (Leviticus). Since the flesh is able to be inhabited by spirit(s) and the life of flesh is in its blood and during sex there is an exhange, sharing and commingling of blood - then logic itself concludes for us a sharing of evil spirits during acts of sexual immorality and a sharing of spirits made holy by God during acts of intimacy in a sanctified marriage between spouses.

2) Why have we Christians become so complacent about sexual immorality? The question presumes that a person who is complacent about matters of sexual immorality is a Christian. Assuming that a person has put their trust in Jesus to save them from sin, such a person could only be complacent about sexual immorality due to a lack of knowledge concerning adultery's sinful nature. If such a person is truly known by God, that person will soon know what God requires relative to sexual purity, because God will not allow His new covenant people to perish for lack of knowledge.

Sexual sin is self gratification and there is no thought of Christ when a person is involved in the sin. Because we are self centered and don't want to either stop what we are doing or we don't want to alienate other people from us because of what we know is wrong.

Q2. (Jude 4)

In what way does sexual sin deny Christ?

If Paul is right in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, that persistent sexual sin is incompatible with salvation, why have we Christians become so complacent about it in our culture?

Sin is sin, and all sins deny Christ. Persistent sin is incompatible with salvation. The reason why so-called Christians have become complacent about sexual sin is, I believe, that they are not truly Christian. They have not received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. If they had, they would repent and not continue with such deeds. This does not mean that they will not come to Christ in a future date.

Q2. (Jude 4) In what way does sexual sin deny Christ? If Paul is right in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, that persistent sexual sin is incompatible with salvation, why have we Christians become so complacent about it in our culture?

We must remember that ALL sin is hoRrible in God's eyes and he will apply HIS justice to those who are unable to obey.

Sadly in our culture this earthly "need" is seem in TV commercials and in magazine ads, and in "cheap internet services."

Heaven help us, as we cry out in desperation for our Savior to come soon, maYbe today!

Being overly speaking about Sex as a sin is a complex problem.

God created man to "live life to the full... by remaining in Jesus..." Trying to figure out what this means from the mass media on TV is really complex for our youth, even for ourselves if we get "off track" even for a few moments.

In America in the USA, statistically it has ben shown that our morals have degenerated from those of our Grandparents, and also from our parents.

So do we create a prohibition on TV like they did for alcohol in the "roaring 20's?"

No --- we need a great spiritual awakening in this land and need to pray even more for God to come and heal our land. So please do not hesitate to PRAY MORE ABOUT THIS PROBLEM PLAGUING THE USA. PLEASE IMAGINE THIS REPLY IN BOLD RED TEXT!!!!!!!!!

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE EVEN REACHING OUT TO ONE PERSON AT A TIME; PICK YOUR SPOTS AND BE WISE AS A SERPANT AND AS GENTLY AS A DOVE.

WE ARE SO LUCKY GOD LOVES ALL OF US SINNERS! THANK GOD FOR JESUS!

The way that sexual sin denies Christ is that is the only sin that is done to the body. The body is the temple of God is abusing that temple.

We Christians have become so complacent about sexual sin because it is so prevalent. We have been brow beaten to the point that we don

2a)Christians whose lives appear to not obey Christ and his teaching e.g sex outside marriage, and other inappropriate sexual sins, they turn their back of the bride groom & deny Christ.James 2:14-26describes how faith and & right action actions is vital. B)People in today’s culture are either unaware of the darkness in which they are in due to gospel message being proclaimed in school etc or seems to believe sin in acceptable, ignoring health and faith message, that sexual sin, is still sin and rejection of God and His good plan for human life and we need Christ to be saved, restore their relationship with our Father, and live healthy joyful fulfilled lives. We are complacent when sucked into pull of world, not kept armour of God in place

Sexual sin is selfishness and violates the standards of God.  Persistent sexual sin denies the complete transformation of the Christian into a Christ-like human-being.  Because of the saturation of sexuality and sensuality in our culture, Christians have become desensitized to it. Thus a complacency has set in.
