Recommended Posts

Q1. What is the word used in the Bible instead of "rapture"?

The word used in the Bible instead of rapture is Resurrection.

When will the resurrection take place in relation to Christ's return?

It will happen at the time Christ appears.

In relation to judgment?

The judgment will take place after Christ appears and the dead in Christ and those still alive rise.

In relation to glory?

Those who are judged worthy will enter into Glory and live with Jesus for all eternity.

At the Lord Jesus Christ’s second coming to the earth, all of the saints—whether dead or alive—will be gathered together to be in His victorious Army (as well as the angels) as He comes down to the earth in Judgment upon all of the earth for all of the evil-doers who are ever on the face of the earth—He separates the good crop of wheat (all of the believers in Him) from the bad and evil crop of weeds—and brings all of the weeds into Judgment Day for all of their evil and ungodly deeds. This is how the Apostle Paul described Christ’s return or Second Coming in terms of the victorious Roman General who came into Rome with all of their captives and spoils of their victory before he and his Roman army, and went into the city where all the people were celebrating their victory over their enemies. Returning to the picture of Christ’s Second Coming, right after words when Christ Jesus bringing us in His complete and final victory over all of His enemies, including death because of His resurrection (and ours), will judge the heavens and the earth; and then bring in the new heavens and the new earth where we believers will be with Him in His glorious presence forever and ever!!!!! Amen! Halleluja!!!!!!!!

Q1. What is the word used in the Bible instead of "rapture"? When will the resurrection take place in relation to Christ's return? In relation to judgment? In relation to glory? (This is NOT the place to debate various theories of the rapture and the millennium.)

1. (I have a Dutch Bible)

2. He appears in the sky, collects the christians who havent't died yet to be with Him, and makes all the dead people to resurrect.

3. Yes, this is for judgement.

4. Well, He sure will show His glory by doing so. Or does this question mean that christians will enter His glory?

Resurrection is used, instead of rapture.

Those that have died in Christ will rise 1st-then we who are still alive will rise.

Judgement for those in Christ will happen after the resurrection.

After we are judged, then we will enter into the joy of the Lord! :D

The word resurrection is used in the bible in place of the word rapture. There is a very clear order in which things are to happen, first Christ will be seen in His return, then all will be judged and we then will receive our glory from the Lord

The word used in the Bible instead of "rapture" is "caught up together" (1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17)

In relation to Christ the resurrection will take when Christ appears in the sky with a trumpet blast from the angels. Those dead will resurrect and those still alive will be changed into their resurrection bodies.

In relation to judgment all will be judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

In relation to glory we all will be with the Lord forever.

The resurrection will take place when Jesus appeared on the clouds and the angels sound the trumpet.

In relation to judgment all the dead will be judged according to what they had done.

All the righteous will rise to glory to receive their reward.

The word is used in the bible instead of rapture is to caught up. The resurrection takes place in relation to When Christ's return is that when Jesus came back to earth, he will raise the people from the dead and we'll meet him in haven; same goes with judgment, and to glory.

When will the resurrection take place in relation to Christ's return? In relation to judgment? In relation to glory? (This is NOT the place to debate various theories of the rapture and the millennium.) Christ will return, the dead in Christ will raise first then those still alive. Then the unbelievers. All will be judged by Christ who will separate the righteous from the wicked.

The word used for 'rapture' in the Bible is "resurrection"

The resurrection will take place when the trumpet sounds and the Lord appears, then the dead will rise with a resurrection body while those alive will be changed. All will be gathered to the great judment. The just to glory with the Lord while the wicked to destruction.

Ans. To be caught up. The Lord will appear and the angel will sound off the trumpet and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

The word resurrection is used in the Bible instead of the word rapture.  Although I believe they are one in the same.  It is a gathering.   The resurrection will take place with Christ's return.  The judgment will happen right before entering glory.

I feel that the word in the bible used instead of rapture is gathered, EPISUNAGO. I also feel that Jesus will come down from the heavens and gather all the believers to Him. We will hear His call all around the world. We will be able to finally see Him in all of His glory. At this time, we will then be judged with all the others. But those that heard that first call will not have to worry. We already belong to Him. Of course, the glory will come after the judgement. I feel that once we are judged, we will be transformed into a new state of glory.

A. Resurrection.

The resurrection will occur when the Son will appear and the trumpet sound, the dead will rise first and those alive will be changed and all will be gathered to the Lord for judgement. The just will be separated and taken to be with the Father ans Son in heaven while the unjust will be taken into hell  fire.

Q1. What is the word used in the Bible instead of "rapture"?

ANSWER:  The word “rapture” is taken from the Latin “rapio” for the two words “caught up” used in 1 Thessalonians 4:17. It has come into popular use today to refer to the Lord Jesus coming for the church, to lift her up into the heavens.

When will the resurrection take place in relation to Christ's return?

ANSWER: The Bible is clear that resurrection is a reality and this life is not all that there is. While death is the end of physical life, it is not the end of human existence. The Bible teaches that there will be not one resurrection, but a series of resurrections, some to eternal life in heaven and some to eternal damnation (see Daniel 12:2; John 5:28-29). The first great resurrection was the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The first great resurrection of the Church will occur at the time of the rapture. All those who have placed their trust in Jesus Christ during the Church Age, and have died before Jesus returns, will be resurrected at the rapture. Another great resurrection will occur when Christ returns to earth (His Second Coming) at the end of the Tribulation period. There is a final resurrection, apparently of all the unbelieving dead of all ages. Jesus Christ will raise them from the dead

(When will the resurrection take place) In relation to judgment?

ANSWER: Therefore, the first resurrection is for the people of God; the second resurrection is for the judgment of unbelievers. The difference between these two groups is based on one's relationship with God through Jesus Christ. It is essential for every person to hear the good news and be saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) to receive eternal life (John 3:16).

(When will the resurrection take place) In relation to glory? (This is NOT the place to debate various theories of the rapture and the millennium.)

ANSWER: In the Gospel according to John, the glorification described by the Ascension story seems to have taken place immediately after the Resurrection.
