Q2. Decoding Symbols

The Lamb itself represents our crucified Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, (Isaiah 53:7, John 1:29).

Standing after being slain indicates His bodily resurrection.

Seven horns indicates complete power, omnipotent.

Seven eyes indicates complete knowledge, omniscience. He moves in the fullness of the Spirit, who is the Spirit of wisdom and understanding.

The number seven carries the idea of completeness. Jesus finished the work of salvation.

The Lamb has the qualities of being GOD.

THE LAMB ITSELF REPRESENTS JESUS CHRIST, THE SACRIFICIAL LAMB GIVEN FOR OUR SINS BY GOD ALMIGHTY.

STANDING AFTER BEING SLAIN INDICATES VICTORY OVER DEATH; RESURRECTION POWER!!!!

HORNS REPRESENT ALL AUTHORITY AND ALL POWER OVER ALL THINGS..THAT IS-- OMNIPOTENT.

EYES REPRESENT ALL SEEING , ALL KNOWING GOD...OMNISCIENT.

NUMBER SEVEN CARRIES THE IDEA OF PERFECTION AND COMPLETENESS; WHOLENESS.

THUS THE LAMB HAS THE QUALITIES OF BEING VICTORIOUS, OMNIPOTENT, OMNISCIENT AND PERFECT.....GOD BLESS.

To summarize, then, the Lamb has the qualities of being of ... Christ the Lamb was the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all. He defeated all the forces of evil by dying on the cross. He now lives in God's strength and power. Jesus has omnipotent power and He has the omnisecient vision of the Holy Spirit.

To summarize the Lamb has the qualities of being a risen living Saviour who has complete or perfect strength and power who sees everything to the smallest detail.

lamb = Jesus Christ

standing after slain = resurrection & still showing signs of wounds on His body

horns = might/strength

eyes = H.S.--see fully/completely--all-knowing

seven = idea of completeness/perfection

- The lamb itself represents Jesus Christ . He was not an ordinary Lamb , He takes away the sin of the world..

-Standing after being slain indicates that , Jesus is a Live and He resurrected from dead.

-Horns represent - Strength and Power ,Although Christ is a Scrificial Lamb , He is in no way weak . He was killed , but now He lives in God's strength and Power .

-Eyes represents -Powwerful and all-knowing . He sees fully .

-The number seven carried the idea of God's Holliness and His fulness.

Power. In the Old Testament horns signify power (Deuteronomy 33:17).

Eyes represent ...

Eyes indicate that the Lamb sees fully, completely.

The seven horns and seven eye represent the seven spirits sent out into all the world by God.

To summarize, the idea of the Lamb is pictured as a victorious military leader. Bearing the marks of its slaughter, the Lamb has come to power through His death. The horn is an ancient Jewish symbol for power or strength. Seven horns would symbolize full strength.

The Lamb itself represents Jesus Christ, without stain, who shed His blood to save the new Israel from sin and death. It is the main title used for Jesus Christ in Revelation and used 28 times.

Standing after being slain, indicates Jesus Christ rising from the dead, the Resurrection, after being crucified and dying on the cross.

Horns, represent Christ's fullness of power.

Eyes, represent all seeing, knowledge. Only Christ has all seeing knowledge.

No.7, in the OT, represented perfection and completeness.

Jesus Christ is the epitome of perfection, is all seeing and all knowledgeable, with the fullness of power to complete God's plan of salvation.

There are seven horns. Seven is a number of perfection, completeness, and horns are authority and power. Christ has perfect power and authority.

Seven eyes=He sees everything. He is able to see perfectly, completely.

Horns represent ....Almighty power, Omnipotence. The sevenfold Holy Spirit of God. He has all Authority in Heaven and on earth.

Eyes represent ...Omniscience..all knowing, all seeing. The sevenfold Holy Spirit of God.

The number seven carries the idea of ...completion. Seven is the number for God...for perfection.

To summarize, then, the Lamb has the qualities of being ....God. He left glory in Heaven to come to earth to die and conquer sin, death and the grave, and has now returned in triumph to glory, having opened the way for all believers to spend eternity with Him. He is the perfect representation of God the Father....in human form, now seated at the right hand of the Father. King of Kings, and Lord of Lords...before whom very shortly, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. Even so, Come Lord Jesus!

Lamb: Jesus, the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Slain: Was sacrificed with visible wounds. Shedding of blood. Physical death. The lamb that was slain.

Lamb is standing: Though slain, is no longer dead. Victorious and risen. No more death.

The lamb; seven horns: Completeness in power and strength. All authority in Heaven and on Earth given to the lamb.

7 eyes: The Lamb sees fully and completely. All powerful, all knowing.

Summarizing that the Lamb has the qualities of God and Savior as well as Spirit and counselor.

It is finished:

He was the perfect Lamb, was crucified, died and was buried, He rose again, victorious over death and Hades and has been established at the right hand of God, given the name above all other names. All things in Heaven and on Earth are set under His feet and He sees fully, knows all and establishes all things. His Kingdom will have no end.
