Q3. (Revelation 5:5) What has the Lamb done to "triumph" and so become worthy to take the scroll and open its seals? (Hint: See the "for" or "because" clause in 5:9 for the answer.)

He was slain for the freedom of mankind. The atonement.

The Lamb was slain and become triumphant and so become worthy to take the scroll and open its seals. The Lamb was slain in order to buy us back from the slavery of sin. His death/shedding of his blood has paved the way for us to have easy access to the throne room.

He, the Lamb, our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, is acclaimed as worthy to carry out judgment because of His redemptive work on the Cross. Over and above redemption, our Lord has made all believers kings and priests to worship Him, to witness for Him, and to reign with Him for eternity.

Because Jesus is slain and with His blood he purchased for God, from every tribe, lanuage, people and nation.

The Lamb who was full of grace, who was holy, and was sinless, allowed the sins of all men to be placed on Him. He was then crucified and hung on a cross as a criminal. He died from these actions. He then rose from the dead three days later and He once again opened the gates of heaven. He paid the ransom to God the Father and we are now joined with God in heaven.

The Son has sacrificed his own life and blood by obeying the Father. And because of his triumph over death and sin he is made worthy by the Father to have complete power and authority to open the seals of the scroll.

Because Jesus shed His blood on the cross for the sins of the entire world and rose again, He bought many men for God; and with that He was the only one who could open the seals of the scroll.

The Lamb . . Jesus Himself . . was slain and with His precious blood He purchased, or redeemed, people from every tribe, language, people and nation on earth. With this ultimate act . . and it was the ultimate act because no one can give more than His own life in any situation . . that made Jesus, the Son of Almighty God, worthy to open the seals and take His place as Ruler of all things, together with God the Father!!

Because He was willing to be slain and with His blood purchased men from every tongue, tribe and nation for God, to live forever with Him and worship Him.

God Bless!

Jesus Christ overcame the world as he mentioned before He was betrayed.  He that is in us is greater than him that is in the world.  For Jesus Christ died for our sins not His own, and to as many as will believe He is the Son of God have the gift of salvation.  Jesus Christ defeated the devil by dying for us, by becoming humble and coming in the form of a man He became the greatest man ever, for He is more than a man, He and God are one.
