(Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."? Exposition

From the stand point of Power, being raised up by God with Christ Jesus simply means we have at work in us, the same power that broke through the claws of death & defiled the power of the grave, which has held all mankind captuive before now.

" ... Seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."? Signifies position from where all who are in Jesus Christ is to operate from.

We were not just delivered with power from the power & influence of the devil but we were equally placed in a position where we are now above him and anything other thing he (devil) can come up with - Hellaluya.

(Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."?

Paul's statement tells us that we have the same power and authority that Jesus has because we as believers are seated with him in heavenly realms we also have power and authority over demons and evil spirits; and as they are "under his feet" so are they under our feet.

Q3. (Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."?

This is divine revelation, without sriptures we can never know who we are. it means that we share with Christ His spiritual authority and dominion over all spirit beings including demons and angels. if they are under his feet then they are under our feet as well. we do battle with the forces of darkness from a position of power being joint heir with our Lord Jesus Christ

Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."?

Almighty God has complete and ultimate power over all things. Through His life-giving power He raised Jesus from the dead and placed Him at the right hand of His throne and He has placed the believer there with Him. The believer has access to the throne of grace and has been placed above the evil dominions of the physical and spiritual world. We are spiritually right there with Jesus in the heavenly realm.

(Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."? Exposition

Paul, by his own experiences, was telling us that as does Christ, so do we have the power to put the enemy under our feet. We are spiritually postioned as the Lord, seated with Him in the heavenly.

I trust that Paul is saying that being placed positionally with Christ gives us the same authority and footing over all things. Lest we forget that God is still in control. By His grace are we placed at His right hand and the power and authority we have is to be subject to God and His delight.

As we come into the fullness of being seated with Christ the view of heaven changes our mindsets and is a trigger for revivial in our hearts and those we speak to. He has brought us into His presence and into the intimate releationship with Himself we are one with Christ Jesus

I am in AWE! I have read Ephesians and never understood the power given to us the believers of the CHURCH. As noted in your lecture, If we are seated with Christ in the spiritual authority hierarchy, that means that we, too, are seated far above all spiritual powers. If demons and evil spirits are "under his feet" then they are under our feet, too. We as believers have been provided with the tools to do God's work in the Church and the world! May God give direction in how to use this gift for his glory.

-Insofar as we are IN Christ we are WITH Christ wherever He is, and He is with us in the same way. We cannot see Him physically, nor can we feel Him under us as we sit in the same throne, for these are metaphores for the real relationship we can have with Him, if we choose. The Kingdom of God has come; we choose to live in it, or just "go to church". And the KOG is ALL churches, people of Christ's Body, who dare to live in His power.

We are 'in' Christ, therefore, if He were not victorious over all things, then we would also not be able to overcome our enemies. We are seated with

Him in the heavens as victors because of our relationship to Him. He promised that we would have trouble here but that "He overcame the world". That

would not help us were we not 'in' Him. Now, by faith we know we can overcome because He overcame. We need fear nothing because of where we

are spiritually. I am so happy to know our place of victory.

3a) We are seated with Christ, and also above the other spirit beings, angels, demons. We have the authority over Satan and his demons, death & sin. We have victory over them through the saving work of Christ. We have been given the power to accomplish through faith all that God would have us do according to His will. This power is all ours, if we but will exercise the faith for it to be shown. :)

From the standpoint of power, the significance of Paul stating we are "raised up with Christ and seated with Him in the Heavenly realms." is awesome and absolute! When Christ was raised up, we were assured of being raised up. Our victory is certain in all things. Over anything evil and over death! We have full participation in everything with Christ through the incomparable riches of His grace, expressed in His kindness to us. Who then should we fear? It is done. We have won through Jesus! Nothing....nothing can undo that or separate us from Him! Believe it!

This always reminds me of John 17: 1-5, 20-26. I'm always overcome by the beauty of Jesus as He prayed for us....yes us....as He completed His mission here on Earth. If we ever doubt, we should read this glimpse into His heart and into the heart of our Father. We should be reminded of His generosity and all He desires to share with us. We could not have had any of this without Jesus. How He deserves our love and devotion with profound thankfulness and joy!

It means that we'll have divine power too.

To whom who reads this: does this mean that the catholics are rights and saints do exist?

Wow! Besides being made alive, we have been raised up with Christ. Christ who dwells in us has given us a new, powerful, and unique life and position. And because of this we have a new set of values,

(Ephesians 2:6) From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."? Exposition

We have the same power in us that raised Christ from the dead and because we are seated in the heavenly places with Christ, we also have all the principalities and powers under our feet. That does not mean that we are like little gods or equal with Christ. Christ is the head and we are His body and it is His power that work through us and in us- we have to do what He wants us to do. Just as the brain controls the body,so Christ must control us. He gives us His power to do His work and we do not have to live in fear of the enemy

1.If we believe in Jesus Christ, and believe in the death and resurection, then we, in faith, can believe that we also will be raise up to be with God. If we believe, we know God is powerful enough to overcome death. His power is unimaginable to us, but we can count on it, be assured of it when we are in His will.

If we are raised up with Christ, we will also have dominion over satan and the demons of the world thru Gods power.

When we think as a human about Jesus being raised from the dead, it is no big deal. It seems to be all right for us to bring God down to our level of thinking and power. But God is God and His "power" is so much greater than anyone can understand and His power does exist in each true Christian. We do not think about it because of guilt thoughts and that if we really had this power we would use it wrongly. We need to think - it is for the glory of God only - then it can happen in our life.

From the standpoint of power, what is the significance of Paul's statement that "God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus...."?

To let us know that we are in the same position of authority with Christ Jesus over all. We have the ability to speak to situations and principalities from a level of commanding -vs- pleading...

That same power should be excersized in the churchs (both physical and structual) today...
