It requires faith because asking, while at the same time not believing that your request will not go any farther than your lips is vain or empty requests. kindred to repenting because you got caught not because it offended it becomes mere platitudes.

That faith is based on "relationship". Knowing GOD to be compassionate we ask.

Constantly being in touch with GOD. David said "I will call on the LORD as long as I live because He hears me". (Psa. 116: 2) Developing a relationship, Enoch walked with GOD and was not because GOD took him, as some poetically put it, "Enoch, don't go home today come with me to my house".

 1) A tuely repentent prayer to God, has faith in God, that HE is not only the almighty but merciful God.

2) Our faith is based on the very promises of God according to His Word, given to us in the scriptures which we believe and the realisation

that HE hearkens to our prayers and helps us to set our lives straight in the sight of God when we confess our sins and repent.

3) Our faith in God grows as we delve deep into the study of His word and ask the help of Holy Spirit, to understand and to follow.

Aprayer for pardon requires faith because if that faith is not present you cannot in your heart believe His love. God's love is much more than we humans understand. With faith in the Father and our Lord Jesus we can know we are pardoned and that our sins are washed away.

We gain this kind of faith by studying the word the Father has sent us and trusting that it is true.

We have to believe that what we are asking for is going to be answered, as in all prayers to our Father. If there is any doubt, there is no answer.

Faith, again as in all things, is based on what we know and understand. If we have quality time with God through his word and in prayer, then we know his promises, we know he keeps his promises. We understand his nature and values.

The more we rely on God, the more we see the results of relying on God, our faith keeps building and growing stronger, we then have the confidence to pray such a prayer because we know, we are a living testimony to God's mercy and power.

The closer we are to God, the closer God is to us.

To ask Adonai for pardon from a sin you have the faith to know that you have transgressed against Him. When you are so troubled as to beg for His forgiveness you display the belief that He will do so.

This faith comes from hearing the word of God, knowing the word of God and, the experience of seeing faith in action through life's trials and tribulations, which is how this faith is gained.

Q1. In what way does a prayer for pardon require faith? What is that faith based on? How does a person gain the faith to pray this prayer in confidence?

1). Prayer for pardon requires faith to believe that God will do what he says and He will do in His word. It is only through His mercy and grace that we are pardoned.

2). Faith requires a confidence in the heart that someone will do something that you go on and believing that He said will be accomplished. With faith all things are possible for God to open doors to become real and be able to pardon our sins. It is only thru the power of the indwelling Spirit who will leads us into all truth and convicts us of our sin, that we will hear the word of God and receive the faith we need.3).

3). By studying the word of God and persistence prayer will draw us to know Him deeper and seeing that He is reliable and true to His word. Reading the word builds faith, hearing the testimony builds our faith. The more we trust in God by what we see come to pass as we pray the more confidence we will have that God is powerful enough to do all things.

Q1. In what way does a prayer for pardon require faith? What is that faith based on? How does a person gain the faith to pray this prayer in confidence?

It requires faith to even go to God in prayer in any circumstance. This faith is based on the belief that God is kind and merciful, loving and forgiving. Knowing the Word of God is how one gains faith. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. IF you have a relationship with God then you spend time in His Word - thus building up your faith. Experience is another teacher of faith. It is a costly teacher - but a good teacher nonetheless. If you have been in these shoes before then you can say God did it before and He will do it again.

Q1. In what way does a prayer for pardon require faith? What is that faith based on? How does a person gain the faith to pray this prayer in confidence?

I've seen so many people carry with them their sin for years because they feel they are unworthy of being forgiven or that for some reason God has not forgiven them. But no matter what we must have the faith to know that because of God's attribute of compassion and mercy we can obtain mercy for our sins.

We we develop and faithful relationship with God we willbe slowly building a confidence that God Because of our prayer, meditation, and obedence to God we can have faith in the word of God and wht God can do for us

Faith is a gift from God. God offers His Faith and forgiveness to all; all we need do is accept this free gift.

Pardon is available from God for those that believe He can grant complete pardon, that belief comes from the faith God offers and is based upon His Grace, a deep compassion and love for us.

Q1. In what way does a prayer for pardon require faith? What is that faith based on? How does a person gain the faith to pray this prayer in confidence?

In what way does a prayer for pardon require faith?

A prayer for pardon requires faith because we have to trust and have faith in God's covenant promises made with each of us with the death an ressurection of our redeemed Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Christ died on the cross for our sins. if we go to the Lord with truly repentent and contrite hearts asking for forgiveness, Jesus said that he would be on the right hand side of the Father offering intercession on our behalf.

What is that faith based on?

Faith is based on our belief and our relationship with God.

How does a person gain the faith to pray this prayer in confidence?

We can do as David did, by looking over our lives and seeing all of the times God has been with us. We must have a right relationship with God gained by spending time with Him and developing a relationship with Him. We have to know God well enough to know that although God hates sin, it in no way dimimishes His love for the sinner. David is called a man after God's own heart, not because he was perfect; David was far from perfect, but what God loved about David was that he immediately repented for his sins and begged God's forgiveness, fully acknowledging that he and he alone sinned against God.
